        지혈대 마비에 대한 임상적 고찰

        As the society has been industrialized, the number if industrial accident has increased. The hand surgeries have increased as the result of hand injuries in case of handing machine, postburn scar contractures of the hand and congenital anomalies of hand. The tourniquets used in these operations are essential instruments. The cause of tourniquet paralyses are carelessness in using touriquets and disorder of tourniquet. The causes of tourniquet paralysis seem to be related to tourniquet pressure and inchemic time. We experienced 5 cases of tourniquet induced paralysis of arm after the use of tourniquet. We surveyed similar cases of other surgeons and presented the cause of this serious complication. As a result, we recommend for the prevention of tourniquet induced paralysis as follows. 1. Check the pressure gauze before the use of s tourniquet. 2. Removal of the tourniquet cuff after deflation 3. Removal of the soft bandage after removal of the cuff 4. Optimum pressure for obtaining the bloodless field Adult : 250/300㎜Hg(upper/Lower extremity) Child : 200/250㎜Hg(Upper/Lower extremity) 5. Recommendable tourniquet time is within 2 hours. 6. Tourniquet should be placed 10 ㎝ above the epicondyle in the upper extremity. 7. Tourniquet be released in case of dissection of major artery due to prevention of postoperation hematoma

      • 한국 레슬링 대표선수의 유산소 및 무산소 능력에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study was to characterize the maxmum aerobic power and maxmum anaerobic power of eilte Korean senior wrestlers and then to identify physiological differences between elite Korean senior wrestlers and successful world-class wrestlers. Elite Korean senior wrestlers (n=21) were measured for maximal aerobic power and blood lactate concentration after competitions. The results of this studt was follows ; 1. Maximal Aerobic power: On the everage (±SD) elite Korean senior wrestlers and a VEmax of 141.56±21.99ℓ/min, VO2max of 60.24±5.16ℓ/kg/min, VO2/HR of 24.01±5.47ml/beat, HRmax of 197.5±8.8bpm, BFmax of 64.57±6.43f/min, VCO2max of 4.39±.070ℓ/min, AT - % VO2 OF 76.55±2.92%, duration of treadmill run of 14.43±1.57min, HLmax after treadmill run of 8.34±1.71mM. 2. Maximal Anaerobic power: (1) Muscle power ; Elite Korean senior wrestlers had a 450±104 watts(6.7 watts/kg) for leg power, 6.1±1.0mM for HLamax, 1350±311.2kpm/min for total work in wingate test. (2) Blood Lactate Concentration ; HLamax after competitions for KOR wrestlers and FRA of GDR wrestlers were 11.83±2.73mM and 14.53±3.55mM, respectively. However, no significance differences between two groups in HLamax were found at the competitions. The results of this study indicated that anaerobic power may be the most important physiological factor contributing to success of the junior wrestlers. and cardiorespiratory fitness may be the most important physiological factor of the senior wrestlers. In light of this, the less successful junior wrestler might benefit by training to improve anaerobic power.

        1) Anaerobic power by jump reach test record was not significant difference statistically between Free-style and Grecoroman-style player. 2) Anaerobic power by 50m Allout-running was not significant difference statistically between free-style player and Grecoroman-style player. 3) Anaerobic power by Lewis-nomogram After measure jump reach test record and weight was not significant difference statistically between Free-style player and Grecoroman-style player.. 4) Anaerobic maximal, Anaerobic mean power and total power were not significant difference statistically between Free-style and Grecoroman-style player. 5) Wingate test measurement method can substitution for Anaerobic power measurement method by Lewis-nomogram.

        To improve administration of ketolorac tromethamine, we prepared matrix tablets with Eudragit (RS 100 or 30D), diluents (avicel:lactose=l:l or Ca phosphate) and Mg stearate using wet-granulation method. Sustained release matrix tablets using Eudragit® RS 100 7 and 10% decreased dissolution rate at pH 1.2 and 68 Ca. phosphate as diluents showed more decreased dissolution rate than that of avicel:lactose (1:l). Sustained release matrix tablets using Eudragit® RS 30D also showed very effective sustained release of KT.

      • 영어 어휘 의미 정보와 피치 액센트

        In this paper, we examine if the lexical information of the verb and its noun object affects the pitch accent patterns of the verb phrase focus. Three types of verb-object dominations with different semantic weights are discussed: when the verbs have optional direct objects, when the objects have the greater semantic weight elative to verbs, and when the verbs and the objects have equal semantic weight. Argument-structure-based works note that the pith accent location in a focused phrase is closely related to the argument structure and contextual information. For example, it has been agued that contextually new noun objects receive accent while given noun objects don't. Contrary to nouns, verbs can be accented or not in verb phrase focus regardless of whether they are given information or new information (Selkirk 1984, 1992). However, the production experiment in this paper how that the accenting of verbs is not fully optional, but influenced by the lexical semantic information of the verbs. The accenting of noun objects with given information is possible and the deaccenting of new noun objects also occurs depending on the lexical information of the noun objects. The results demonstrate that in addition to argument structure and information by means of context sentences, the lexical semantic information of words influences the pitch accent location in focused phrase.

        VS(Variable Speed)-Motor is speed control method using eddy-current coupling. This method installs eddy-current coupling with constant speed driving Induction Motor and controls rotating speed through a charging change of a excitation current, particularly. VS-Motor is used widely because of simple control and wide speed range. But this method has large losses and low efficiency because of heating as slip drum in low speed region. In cooling, addition of a mechanical devices is difficult and in volume, large space is occupied. Using SCR for control, efficiency of system is low. In case of inverter, though advantage of high efficiency and high performance the price is expensive. Therefore, in this study, we developed low-cost type VVVF(Variable Voltage Variable Frequency) Inverter system for substituting VS-Motor.

        Ketorolac (KA) and ketorolac tromethamine (KT) is the nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) and has been used widely. To improve its frequent administration by control of drug release. we prepared SLM of KA and KT using Mirj 45 and 52 as surfactants and tripalmitin and tristearin as lipids by spry drying method SLM, as a disperse system for injection, were evaluated by measurement of particle sizes. SEM and drug release pattern As a result. spherical SLM were prepared and their particle size were in the range of 25-125 μm, which were dependant on the types and contents of lipid and sururfactants. Their dissolution rate were decreased as increasing lipid contents.

      • 곁사슬을 갖는 새로운 액정중합체의 합성 및 특성

        A series of wholly aromatic polyesters with side chains were synthesized by solution polycondensation from 2,5-dialkoxyterephthaloyl chlorides with the corresponding diol. The polymers showed the schlieren textures which is indicative of a nematic phase above their melting temperature. The inherent viscosities (η_(inh)) measured at 35℃ in phenol/p-chlorophenol/1,1,2,2-tetrachloroethane were 0.56-0.98 dℓ/g. The glass transition temperature (T_(g)) and melting temperature (T_(m)) decreased with increasing the length of the alkoxy side chain. Initial decomposition temperatures in TGA occurred at 338 ~ 363℃ in N₂ gas and thermal stability of polymers decreased with increasing the length of the side chain.

        The prevalence of PPNG among pretreated gonorrhea cases isolated at the STD clinic of Choong-Ku Public Health Center in Seoul has been studied and reported annually since 1981. In 1991, 123 strains of N.gonorrhoeae were isolated, among which 58(47.1%) were PPNG. In 1992, 98 starains of N.gonorrhoeae were isolated, among which 51(52.0%) were PPNG. In all, 109(49.3%) strains were found to be PPNG among 221 strains isolated between 1991-1992. The prevalence of PPNG in Seoul showed increased tendency till 1989, thereafter, it has been stationary or slightly decreasing.

      • FPGA를 이용한 로봇과 CNC 공작기계용 위치 제어기 개발

        The motion controllers based on microcontrollers and microprocessors have been used to control robots and CNC machine tools. These are composed with large and complex circuits, which may result in large power consumption and additional costs. This paper proposes a one chip motion controller to control the position of each joint in robots and CNC machine tools. The proposed motion controller is designed with a FPGA by using the VHDL.
