        컨테이너 검색기 이송대차 추진용 선형 유도전동기의 2차측 리액션플레이트 재질에 따른 특성 연구

        This paper presents the analysis of the analysis of thrust characteristics of linear induction motors(LIMs) according to secondary reaction plate. LIMs are well known as high speed transport systems, which can obtain thrust directly without gears and links, or auxiliary mechanisms. A simple structure, easy maintenance, and less environmental pollution are advantages of LIMs. In transport systems using LIMs, the secondary reaction plate is an important design factor, because it has considerable impact on the cost of the railway as well as the performance of the LIMs. This paper deals analyzed the characteristics of linear induction motor used for moving the vehicle of container scanner. Thrust, efficiency and load characteristic were interpreted with FEM regarding two models whose material of secondary reaction plate was copper and aluminum. It suggested the interpretation of thrust, efficiency and power factor characteristic along slip and compared the operation ability of linear induction motor through characteristics analysis along the load.

      • 용융금속 이송용 전자기 펌프의 유동해석 및 실험

        This study aims at analyzing the flow characteristics of the electromagnetic pump using a linear induction motor (LIM) for transferring molten metals. The flow characteristics of the pump are simulated by magnetohydrodynamic(MHD) program. In this system, the LIM is used for transferring molten metal by electromagnetic force. The molten metal is treated as the secondary part of the LIM. Since the LIM produces an electromagnetic force in the duct, the molten metal can flow from the furnace to the reservoir. The flow characteristics of the pump are analyzed using MHD program for magnetic field of 0.1[T] in duct. In order to prove the analysis, we made a prototype electromagnetic pump using LIM.

        유아교육기관의 노인ㆍ아동상호작용 프로그램의 적용 효과에 관한 연구

        본 연구는 조부모와의 접촉이 단절된 핵가족에서 자라나는 영유아들에게 유아교육기관에서 노인과의 상호작용 경험을 의도적으로 제공함으로써 오늘날 산업사회에서 방치되어 있는 노인문제와 영유아 교육ㆍ보호문제를 연계하여 함께 해소하고자 개발된 노인ㆍ아동 상호작용 프로그램을 유치원과 보육시설 현장에 적용하여 그 효과를 검증해 보는데 목적을 두고 있다. 10개 유치원과 10개 보육시설을 대상으로 노인선발 프로그램, 노인, 아동, 교사(원장 포함) 및 학부모를 위한 4종류의 사전교육 프로그램. 그리고 노인ㆍ아동 상호작용 활동 프로그램을 현장 적용한 과정과 결과를 참관, 면담, 관찰, 설문조사 등의 방법으로 양적 분석과 질적 분석을 한 결과 모든 프로그램들이 노인, 아동, 교사 및 학부모 모두에게 긍정적인 효과가 있는 것으로 밝혀졌다. The purpose of the research was to identify the implementation effects of the Old- Young Interaction Program in kindergartens and child care centers. The Program is considered very important to connect eldly and very young generations, strengthen the Korean traditional extended family bonding, and also together solve the aging problems and the young child educare problems in Korean in recent years. The Old-Young Interaction Program implemented in this study was constructed an elderly recruitment program, the preservice programs for the elderly, children, child educare teachers, and parents, and an old-young interaction activity program developed by other research project(Jae-tack Lim, Young-ock Kim, & Kyoung-ho, Kim, 1996). For the research purpose, the Old-Young Interaction Program was implemented in 10 kindergartens and 10 child care centers for 8 months except summer vacations from March till December in 1999. From the overall perspectives, the Program was so successful and effective to promote elderly-child interaction activities in kindergartens and child care centers. And also most of elderly volunteers, young children, child educare teachers, and parents participated at the Program were very satisfied with the implementation processes and results of the Program.

      • Possibility of Application of Artificial Insemination Buffer (AIB) for Increasing of Production Efficiency of Female Cow Offspring

        The present research was carried out to evaluate the possibility of female offspring production using artificial insemination buffer (AIB) before artificial insemination (AI). To do it, we carried out the optimization of AIB, making of AIB gun and analysis of affecting AI rate after AIB treatment. AIB made with the base of Tris‐buffer supplemented with L‐arginine and several materials that could be reduced the motility of male sperm compared with female one. This mean that female sperm could be increased the possibility of fertilization with ovum compared with male one. AIB must be deposited into 2nd to 4th cervix by the guide of AIB gun. After 15 min of AIB insertion, frozen semen was deposited into same place after. Total 352 cattle were inseminated with AIB insemination and was not significant difference between AIB and traditional AI rate (56.8 vs. 55.7%). However, AIB AI rate was significantly differs among 12 different farms. The parturition number of cows did not effect on AIB AI rate among 1st to 7th parturition number of cows. The proportion of AIB AI success rates in hanwoo cows was significantly higher than in dairy cows (61.0% vs. 48.7%), but the average AI success rate was not different between AIB and conventional AI (56.8% vs. 55.7%). The female offspring production rate in 2nd to 4th cervix deposition place was significantly higher than in uterus body (77.7% vs. 59.6%, p<0.05). The injection volume of AIB in 5 and 10 ml was significantly higher than in 2 ml (77.7, 78.7 vs. 51.8%, p<0.05), but not different between 5 and 10 ml ABI volume. The best exposure time of AIB in the cervix was 10 and 15 min rather than that of 5 min (79.2%, 77.2% vs. 63.2%, p< 0.05), and so AIB have to expose at least 10 min to get higher female offspring. In conclusion, AIB could be used in AI industry to produce female offspring and also AIB AI can be increased the AI success rate compared with traditional AI rate.

        환경친화적인 무기/유기 Core-Shell의 제조에 관한 연구

        Composite particles using inorganic and organic chemicals were synthesized and the results of those reaction were compared to variation of temperature and agitation speed in presence of CaCO₃ which was adsorbed SDBS. Also the synthesises were optimized according to conversion rate of composite particles. In inorganic/organic core-shell composite particle polymerization, CaCO₃ adsorbed by 0.5wt% surfactant SDBS was prepared initially and then core CaCO₃ was encapsulated by sequential emulsion polymerization using MMA at the addition of APS 3.16X 10^(-3)mo1/L to minimize the coagulated PMMA particle itself during MMA shell polymerization. Encapsulated PMMA on CaCO₃ as inorganic/organic core-shell particles was verified by Fr-IR and DSC analysis. It was found that the CaCO₃ was very well encapsulated by PMMA as shell. The surfaces were distinctly found as spindle shape and broad particle distribution after capsulation.

        Currently the evaluation of high school science and mathematics learning has been too much knowledge-centered without concerning the inquiring ability or scientific attitude. This study, therefore, was made for the purpose of establishing of evaluation model for high school science (biology and earth science) and mathematics learning and its evaluation items. In this paper, the research was done about three fields, biology, earth science and mathematics. 1. For the biology, the evaluation methods of inquiry learning were studied with the foreign references, and proper evaluation items were suggested. 2. For the earth science, after analizing 5 kinds of earth science textbook of current using in high school, essential 19 items were selected. 5 of them were tested in test group and control group, then, the results were analized. 3. For the mathematice, the teaching elements of「Set」and「Flow chart」in mathematics (Ⅰ) were selected and structured. Detailed teaching objects were established and evaluation items were introduced.

        Changes in αB-crystallin, tubulin, and MHC isoforms by hindlimb unloading show different expression patterns in various hindlimb muscles

Changes in αB-crystallin, tubulin, and MHC isoforms by hindlimbunloading show different expression patterns in various hindlimb muscles. JENB., Vol. 18, No. 2, pp.161-168, 2014 [Purpose]αB-crystallin is a small heat shock protein that acts as a molecular chaperone under various stress conditions. Microtubules, whichconsist of tubulin, are related to maintain the intracellular organelles and cellular morphology. These two proteins have been shownto be related to the properties of different types of myofibers based on their contractile properties. The response of these proteinsduring muscular atrophy, which induces a myofibril component change, is not clearly understood. [Methods] We performed 15days of hindlimb unloading on rats to investigate the transitions of these proteins by analyzing their absolute quantities. Proteincontents were analyzed in the soleus, plantaris, and gastrocnemius muscles of the unloading and control groups (N = 6). [Results]All three muscles were significantly atrophied by hindlimb unloading (P < 0.01): soleus (47.5%), plantaris (16.3%), and gastrocnemius(21.3%) compared to each control group. αB-crystallin was significantly reduced in all three examined unloaded hindlimb musclescompared to controls (P < 0.01) during the transition of the myosin heavy chain to fast twitch muscles. α-Tubulin responded onlyin the unloaded soleus muscle. Muscle atrophy induced the reduction of αB-crystallin and α-tubulin expressions in plantar flexormuscles with a shift to the fast muscle fiber compared to the control. [Conclusion] The novel finding of this study is that bothproteins, αB-crystallin and α-tubulin, were downregulated in slow muscles (P < 0.01); However, α-tubulin was not significantly reduced compared to the control in fast muscles (P < 0.01).       • 전해산성수를 이용한 새로운 내시경 소독 시스템(Cleantop WM-1??)의 소독효율

        Background : Electrolyzed acid water (EAW) is a new liquid chemical germicide containing a mixture of oxidizing species and prepared by mixing a small amount of salt with tap water in an electrolyzer. We attempted an in-use evaluation of the high-level disinfection capability of Cleantop WM-1□, a new endoscope reprocessing system using EAW. Methods : Forty-seven flexible endoscopes were randomly collected just after upper endoscopic examinations and were disinfected using Cleantop WM-1□. Parts of the endoscopes without contact to EAW were disinfected with 75% ethyl alcohol. Immediately after the disinfection procedure, samples were taken from the biopsy channel (S-1), tip of the insertion tube (S-2), the umbilical cord (S-3), and the angulation knob (S-4). Results : In EAW-disinfected parts of the endoscopes, the culture-positive rates were 4.3% (2/47) in S-1 samples and 12.8% (6/47) in S-2 samples. In ethyl alcohol-disinfected area, the culture-positive rates were 2.1% (1/47) in S-3 samples and 25.5% (12/47) in S-4 samples. The colony counts of culture-positive samples ranged from 1 to 144. Pseudomonas aerugi-nasa was recovered from the angulation knob of an endoscope, but other contaminating organisms were mostly : normal flora or opportunistic pathogens. Conclusion : Although part of the endoscopes disinfected with 75% ethyl alcohol were contaminated with more organisms than EAW-disinfected areas, Cleantop WM-1□ showed a relatively good disinfection efficacy in reprocessing patient-used endoscopes.
