        黃菊과 黑薔薇를 이용한 기능성 花茶 개발 Ⅱ.花茶의 품질특성

        본 연구는 화차의 비율별 제조공정에 따른 화차의 관능적 품질을 평가하기 위해서 수행되었다. 녹차와 꽃의 시료에 대한 색도중 L, a, b값은 녹차가 29.93, -8.24, 9.27로 녹색을, 황국은 47.20, -1.69, 29.12로 밝은 황색을, 흑장미는 37.18, 4.47, 4.12로 흑적색을 띠웠다. 색상과 채도는 황국이 -17.23과 29.17로 가장 높아 색상이 가장 밝고 선명하였으며, 흑장미는 0.92와 6.08로 색상이 어둡고 둔탁한 적색을 띠워 녹차에 꽃을 혼합할 경우 시각적으로 황국은 쉽게 구별이 되었으며 흑장미는 쉽게 구별되지 않았다. 황국 화차는 꽃의 비율이 증가할수록 국화향, 상쾌하고 개운한 단맛의 증가와 더불어 떫은 맛이 감소하였으나, 혼합비율이 9:2 이상일 경우에는 쑥냄새와 같은 강한 국화향이 증가하여 녹차 고유의 향은 거의 상쇄되는 경향이었다. 장미 화차는 장미꽃이 증가할수록 시큼한 장미향이 강하게 증가하였고, 탄닌성분이 많아 떫고 텁텁한 맛과 시큼한 맛이 강한 것으로 평가되었다. 녹차에 알맞은 꽃의 혼합율은 9:1이하의 비율로 혼합했을 때 황국과 흑장미의 꽃잎색이 녹차와 어울려 전체적인 조화성과 풍미, 시각적 아름다움을 증가시켰다. 녹차에 꽃을 혼합한 화차는 녹차 단일의 차보다는 시각적 즐거움과 독특한 방향성이 부가되어 맛과 향이 풍부한 기능성 꽃차 개발에 좋은 재료로 평가되었다. This experiment was carried out to investigate the effect of mixed ratio on the sensory evaluation in manufacture of functional flower tea. Among the chromaticity about green-tea and material flower, the amount of L, a, b of green tea was 29.93, -8.24, 9.27 with green, the amount of a yellow chrysanthemum(C.indicum) was 47.20, -1.69, 29.12 with bright yellow, the amount of a black rose(Rosa hybrida)is 37.18, 4.47, 4.12 with dark red. The yellow chrysanthemum has brightest and most distinct color with -17.23 hue and 29.17 chrome value, but the black rose has dark dead red color with 0.29 hue 6.08 chrome value. When the yellow chrysanthemum mixed with green tea, it was easily distinguished with naked eye. But the black rose was not distinguishable easily. As the retio increase, the yellow chrysanthemum tea has more chrysanthemum scent, increase of refreshing and relieved sweetness, and less astringent taste. If the mixed rate was over 9:2, original scent of green tea was almost offset with strong chrysanthemum scent like mugwort's. As the ratio increase, the rose tea has strongly increased sourish, and because of the tannin it was appraised strong astringent, unpleasant, sourish taste. The best-mixed ratio of green tea and flower is 9:1. When it mixed at this ratio, the yellow chrysanthemum and petal color of black rose was well matched with green tea, and the tea has general harmony and flavor and it is visually beautiful. Flower tea, green tea from flower, has added visually joy and unique fragrance, it was valued as fine material for rich taste and scent technical tea development.

      • Lidocaine에 의한 경련이 뇌조직에서 c-fos 발현에 미치는 영향

        Recently, a variety of stimuli including convulsion, ischemia and noxious stimuli have been shown to induce the expression of c-fos mRNA in central nervous system (CNS). In this study, c-fos expression in both mRNA and protein (Fos) levels is examined up to 72 hr in brain regions, including hippocampus, piriform cortex, neostriatum, amygdala, dentate gyrus, cerebral cortex, and thalamus during lidocaine-inducced convulsion. Intraperitoneal administration of lidocaine (120 mg/kg) induces generalized convulsion of rats within 10 min and subsequent increase of c-fos expression in both mRNA and Fos protein levels in dentate gyrus, piriform cortex, amygdala, neostriatum, cerebral cortex, hippocampus, and thalamus. A prominent induction of c-fos mRNA and Fos protein in dentate gyrus suggests that dentate gyrus plays an important role in the process of lidocaine-induced convulsion. These results suggest that c-fos may participate in plastic changes of central nervous system associated with stimuli such as seizure activity.

        This study has the purpose that theoretically explores the ways of utilizing Generative Learning Model for early childhood teacher education of science. Many researchers have indicated that teachers' attitudes toward science teaching have crucial influence on their science instruction. These attitudes have direct bearing on the amount of the time that becomes devoted to science and to the specific methods of instruction that are adopted. Particularly, it is important that early childhood teachers' attitudes toward science teaching be emphasized as scientific exploration in the early childhood classroom is inadvertently derived from young children's involvement and responses rather than from teachers' planned instruction. Accordingly, the improvement of teachers' attitudes have become ever-increasing issue in the field of science teacher education. Generative Learning Model is a science teaching strategy, which was developed by Wittrock and Osborne. it was intended to give an opportunity of direct exploring scientific object and phenomena to student and expected to change their understanding. This study concluded that the approach is appropriate to adopt in teacher education course for facilitating teachers' attitudes toward science teaching.

        The changes of social issues and nursing concepts require the expansion of nursing needs and nursing role, therefore it is keenly demanded the necessity of the research for new curriculum development in nursing. So to make a contribution to the development of nursing education in Korea, we made a comparative study of nursing curriculum of each universities which have baccalaureate program and put them into operation at present; they are 10 Korean universities, 5 American universities and 4 Japanese Universities. Thus by researching the differences among them. We acquired the conclusions as followings. The purpose of Nursing education In case of Korean parts, the contents of those aims must be explained more clearly and more in detail than another results of research. There also has to be made the statements upon the scientific researching methodology in scholarly respect, or the self-development in individual respect, or the lasting endeavour for studies in professional respect. We must put an emphasis upon the statement and education of the direct nursing provider, or the primary health care manager at hospital and community, who is one of the important aims of modern nursing education. The substance of nursing curriculum. 1) Total credits for completion and the comparison of curriculums, classified by the field. The scope of total credits of each nation, according to Colleges ranges; Korea: 140-163, U.S.A.: 121-187, Japan: 13-158 Compared with those of U.S.A. and Japan, the average credits of Korea is higher. Classified by the field, the credits alloted to major courses are 73.3% and liberal courses, only 26%, which shows that it does not satisfy the current educational trend that emphasizes the liberal course. 2) The comparison of curriculums, classified by a school year. In case of Korea, the total credits are evenly assigned to all grades, but the freshman taken the concentration of liberal courses (81.2%). Among the major courses are preponderant the Nursing Supportive subjects in the sophomore and the nursing major ones in the junior and senior. 3) Curriculums classified by the subject. (1) As compared with those of Japan and U.S.A. Korean students are less free in chosing subjects their own way all over the curriculums. It is, therefore, required that the range of the optionals be widened for the open and flexible education. (2) We can find all of three nations (Korea, Japan, U.S.A.) neglect the sphere of the behavioral sciences among the fundamental nursing subjects. In the field of social sciences, among Korea, Japan, and U.S.A., top ranks Japan that tends of the interested in social well-being. In Korea only two universities have this subjects. (3) Nursing major subjects. Defficulties in comparing them lie in the gulfs of the title of subjects, and the structural differences of the formation of curriculums among nations. In case of Korea, although there are a few differences of the number of credit of subjects among colleges, she has uniform aspects for U.S.A., which says that there are no characteristics and self-control each colleges has in Korea. We can notice that the subjects each Korean university shares are also doubled with those of the national examination for nursing qualification. Japan differs from Korea in that subjects are more differentiated and students are provided with more chances to make a choice through the system of subjects and the texture of a curriculum are similar to those of Korea. In case of Korea, therefore, the unification of fundamental subjects (especially in the medical field) and clinical practices is required. (4) The course for teaching profession is taken as either the required or optional just in Korea (80%) and Japan (75%). The number of subjects and total credits of teaching courses is different according to the colleges of Korea and Japan. As for the contents of subjects Korea deals with theory and Japan, the practical thing with which students can adjust themselves to the spot of society. As a result of that, in case of Korea, demanded are the entire review and research upon the purpose of establishing a curriculum, its relation to the total credits and the choice of substance of subjects etc. 4) The patterns of organization in curriculum development. Most of the patterns of organization, classified by clinic subject pivot upon disease and subjests are not mutually unified in case of Korea and Japan. Though the patterns of organization of subjects if formally unified, that of curriculums is not substantially or wholy synthesized, while in case of U.S.A. the unification of the patterns of organization entire curriculum as well as the mutual unification of subjects is attained and each college runs a characteristic curriculum, since the application of nursing theory and the model of a curriculum are different according to college. The prevention of disease, the promoting health and the disease system is patterned, centering around the healthy and their families. Therefore, in case of Korea, it is urgent to unify the curriculum of nursing education for the efficiency of the future oriented nursing education, and it is also imminent to develop the new pattern of a nursing curriculum suited for our own social demand and situation. And we need the continuous studies and search for the method of application in order to development the new curriculum. The comparison of a curriculum with the purpose of nursing education. The substances of subjects are not consistently in accord with the aims of nursing education each college states in Korea, Japan and U.S.A. Especially in case of Korea, the most statements upon the purpose of education are in the social dimension, but the most subjects have the academic dimension. In Korea it is stringent to examine and study the choice of the contents of education in terms of learning, profession, individual and society.

        반하후박탕(半夏厚朴湯) 추출물이 생쥐에 유발된 심리적 스트레스에 미치는 영향

        Objective : Banhahubak-tang is indicated for globus hystericus, marked by a subjective sensation as if something stuffed in the throat, chest distress, cough or vomiting, greasy whitish, taut and smooth pulse. In this study, the effects of Banhahubak-Tang extract (BHTe) were tested for anti-stress action. Methods : BHTe was extracted by pure water using electronic extractor and then fed to ICR male mice (20±2g) orally with the dose of 100㎎/㎏/day for five days. Mice were exposed to sociopsychological stress by restraining and seeing foot shock stressed mice for one hour for five days. Results : BHTe administered group showed a tendency of decreasing of serum corticosterone secretion when compared with control group, and BHTe administration also significantly up-regulated noradrenaline secretions in the dorsal cortex of brain. Lipid peroxidation of the brain tissues of mice were tested by measuring malondialdehyde, but BHTe showed no significant change. The elevated plus-maze test was designed to detect the effect of anxiolytic drugs, and BHTe administered group showed a significant increase of latency time. Conclusions : These results suggest that BHTe can effectively rid the psychological stress and it`s related diseases.

        The Direction of Teacher Policies through Analysis of Key Competencies of Domestic and Foreign Kindergarten Teachers

        This study intended to analyze ke111y competencies of domestic and foreign kindergarten teachers, to find out the contexts, and to explore the direction of teacher policies. The study analyzed domestic and foreign web sites and literature related to key competencies of kindergarten teachers, organized them, and extracted characteristics and common elements of each country. Based on the findings, the direction of teacher policies on the basis of teacher key competencies was presented. First, kindergarten teacher key competencies and child key competencies should be linked and responsibilities of kindergarten education should be reinforced. Second, key competencies should be developed based on teacher career cycle. Third, verifying a total system of teachers based on kindergarten teacher key competencies is necessary. Fourth, constant monitoring systems for checking on future societies and studies on key competencies are needed. Fifth, it is necessary to vitalize a "learning community" for teacher educators who are responsible for educating "good teachers" that the times demand. Lastly, expanding a preferential policy for "good teachers" and system developing in order to share "good lessons" are necessary.

      • <sup></sup>Early and Marked Enhancement of New Bone Quality by Alendronate-Loaded Collagen Sponge Combined with Bone Morphogenetic Protein-2 at High Dose: A Long-Term Study in Calvarial Defects in a Rat Model

        <P>Choice of appropriate biomaterial is a key factor for the success of recombinant human bone morphogenetic protein (rhBMP)-2 therapy. Inspired by osteogenic cell-differentiating and osteoclast-suppressing capabilities of alendronate (ALN), we manufactured a composite type of ALN-loaded collagen sponge (ALN-CS), which controls the early detrimental effect of high-dose rhBMP-2. This study aimed to evaluate ALN-CS as a high-dose rhBMP-2 carrier by investigating its initial biomolecular effect and efficacy on intramembranous ossification at 1, 4, 8, and 24 weeks using a rat calvarial defect model compared with nonloaded CS. The in vitro rhBMP-2 release in the ALN-CS showed a low initial burst and steady release phase during the rest period despite lack of calcium compared with that in CS alone. ALN release showed the same tendency as rhBMP-2 release. In vitro characterization showed that osteoblast differentiation and mineralization of mesenchymal stromal cells were more enhanced with ALN-CS. The ALN-CS-BMP group showed higher expression of bone-forming and -resorbing markers in vivo than the CS-BMP group after the first 7 days, which might be attributable to the relatively large amount of rhBMP-2 remaining. However, osteoclast activation in the ALN-CS-BMP group was significantly reduced compared with the CS-BMP group. Radiological and histological analyses revealed that ALN-CS-BMP promoted early and dense ossification at the initial defect, with 100% greater bone mass, 20% greater bone density, and less fatty marrow tissue than CS-BMP, which continued during the whole healing period. However, CS or ALN-CS alone failed to show complete defect closure even at the 24-week healing interval. Our results demonstrate that ALN-CS has remarkable advantages over CS alone in high-dose BMP-2 delivery, with potent suppression of resorption, early and dense ossification at the target area with less fatty marrow formation, and continuation of bone quality over the long term, which highlights its great clinical potential as a rhBMP carrier for bone regeneration at intramembranous ossification sites.</P>

        The Effect of Dramatic Play Activity on 3-Year-Old Children’s Pro-Social Behavior

        This study aimed to determine the effect of dramatic play activity on 3-year-old children`s pro-social behavior. For this purpose, a five step educational program including a dramatic play activity was developed. Thirty-two 3-year-olds were randomly selected for this study. Among them, 16 were included in the experimental group and participated in the twice-weekly program including the dramatic play activity for 7 weeks. For the children in the comparison group, the dramatic play component was excluded from the program during the same time period. Through comparisons of preand post-tests for pro-social behavior, an ANCOVA was used to analyze the effect of the dramatic play activity. The results indicated that the dramatic play activity had a significant effect on promoting 3 year-old children`s pro-social behavior. Specifically, among all the sub-factors of pro-social behavior, leadership, helping, communication, proximity, and sharing were positively influenced by the dramatic play activity.
