      • 식품공장폐수의 활성오니처리중 오존에 의한 산화분해효과

        For the increase of treatment efficiency when waste water which included residual chlorine was biologically treated with activated sludge, elimination efficiency of COD and change of transmittance by activated sludge method were examined after the treatment of residual chlorine with ozone of 100 volt and l0ℓ-air/min., 0.8g-0_(3)/hr. in velocity. The results were as follows. 1) When the sample which included residual chlorine was treated with ozone of 0.8g-O_(3)/hr., COD removal rate by the change of pH and ozonization time was more efficient than acidity solution of pH 3.2(20%) and alkaline solution of pH 12.0(10%). Since the COD removal rate become 35% after 50 minutes of ozonization time at neutral solution of pH 7.2. 2) After the residual chlorine included sample was treated with ozone for 50 minutes to make the F/M rate of 0.1㎏·BOD/㎏·MLSS, the sample was reacted with activated sludge for 3, 6, 9 and 15 hours. The 6 hours reaction gave 85.8% COD elimination which showed higher efficiency than 60.5% by Na_(2)S_(2)O_(3) treatment togather with shorting efficiency of reaction time. 3) When such sample as polyphenol which gives dark brown color was treated with ozone for 50 minutes after being made into acidic, neutral and alkaline solution. the transmittance increased from 30- 40% to 70% and gave better result in alkaline solution.

        잔류염소를 함유한 發水를 活性汚泥에 의한 處理效率을 增加시키기 위하여 전압 100Volt, 유속 10ℓ-air/min, 0.8g-O₃/hr의 오존으로 처리했을때 COD의 除去效果및 투과율의 變化를 實驗한 結果를 要約하면 다음과 같다. 1. 잔류염소를 함유한 시료를 0.8g-O₃/hr의 오존으로 處理하였을때 pH의 變化 및 反應時間에 의한 COD의 除去率은 中性溶液(pH=7.2)에서 오존處理時間 50分 후 35%의 除去效果를 나타내어 酸性溶液(pH=3.2)의 20%, 알칼리性溶液(pH=12.0)의 10%의 除去效果보다 좋았다. 2. 잔류염소를 함유한 試料를 오존으로 50分間 處理하여 F/M比 0.1㎏·BOD/㎏·MLSS로 한 후 3. 6. 9 및 15時間 活性汚泥로 反應시켰을 때 反應時間 6時間 후 85.8%의 COD의 除去效果가 있어 티오황산나트륨(Na₂S₂O₃)으로 處理한 試料의 除去率 60.5%보다 좋았으며, 反應時間의 단축효과도 있었다. 3. Polyphenol色素 等 暗褐色을 띄는 試料를 酸性, 中性, 알칼리性 溶液으로 하여 오존으로 50分間 處理하였을 때 투과율이 30~40%에서 70% 以上 상승하였으며 알칼리성溶液에서가 투과율이 더 좋았다.       • 관상동맥질환 환자에서 스텐트 시술 후 재협착에 관한 연구

        Background and aims : In the coronary artery disease, a rate of restenosis was much decreased by placement of coronary stent than when percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty has been applied, but there are still important clinical problems of restenosis. There has been many progressive studies about various factors contributed to this restenosis. So, we studied a relation between restenosis after placement of coronary stent in the coronary artery disease and many clinical factors, characteristics of stenotic lesion and procedural factors, and also assessed the restenosis rate of various coronary stents. Methods : Total 58 lesions(46 cases of patients ; man 30, woman 16) were evaluated, which has been performed a follow-up coronary angiography after 6 months (mean 188 days) since coronary stent had been placed. Various stents were implanted and assessed a relation between restenosis and many factors. Results : Of 58 lesions were target stenotic studies, there were 22 of restenotic lesions(37.9%), and the restenosis rate wes statistically significant difference in the relation with diabetes mellitus(p<0.05), group of acute myocardial infarction(p<0.05) among clinical diagnosis of ischemic heart disease(stable angina, unstable angina and acute myocardial infarction) in clinical factors and with high dilation pressure of stent(p<0.05) in procedural factors. When the rate of restenosis was evaluated among implanted stents, it was lowest in the Multilink^(®) stent and highest in the Nir Royal^(®) stent(60%). Conclusion : In this study of restenosis and various factors after placement of stents in the coronary artety disease, factors such as diabetes mellitus, group of acute myocardial infarction and a dilation pressure of stent were significant related with restenosis and the restenosis rate of Multilink^(®) stent was lowest and the highest restenosis rate was of Nir Royal^(®) stent.

      • 두경부 종양세포주에 대한 Mithramycin A의 세포자멸사 유도성 및Cisplatin 항암작용 증가효과

        Background and Objectives : Cisplatin (CP) is a major chemotherapeutic agent for head and neck cancer. However, cancer cells can get drug resistance through recovering the DNA damage by CP. Mithramycin A (MA) can inhibit gene expression of multidrug resistance gene 1, c-myc or h-ras. The goal of this study is to evaluate the therapeutic effect of MA alone and combination of MA and CP on head and neck cancer cell lines. Materials and Methods : Two head and neck cancer cell lines (AMC-HN4, AMC-HN7) were treated with MA. The cellular proliferation, apoptosis and protein expression were measured with XTT assay, FACS analysis, and western blotting, respectively after MA treatment in cell lines. In order to know the combination effect of MA with CP, the cancer cell lines were treated with MA, CP, and MA/CP combination, and cellular proliferation, apoptosis and expression of apoptosis-associated proteins were measured. Results : MA inhibited the proliferation of head and neck cancer cells and induce dapoptosis. Increase of caspase activation, PLC-?1 fragmentation and percent apoptosis by MA treatment was blocked by z-VAD-fms, but not blocked by N-Acetyl Cystein. Combination of MA and CP significantly inhibited cancer cell growth and increased apoptosis compared to MA and CP alone, and it also suppressed the expression of anti-apoptotic proteins such as XIAP and Mcl-1. Conclusions : The present study suggests that MA alone andMA/CP combination chemotherapy could be a potential regiment for the control of the head and neck cancer.

      • Kim,Seong-soo : Possiblity of Low Salting Process in Gae-Woo Jeot(Salted and Fermented Gastrophoda) and Changes in Fatty Acid Composition during Fermntation 低鹽化 可能性 檢討 및 熱成중 脂肪酸 組成의 變化

        To establish the way of processing of Gae-Woo jeot which used abalone intestine that has not been systematically used compare to its characteristic taste and fame as main ingredient and to develop as a local tourist good, the change of constituents the quality of salted fish products suring Gae-Woo jeot fermentation were examined. The results are as follows. 1. In the organoleptic test, Gae-Woo jeot which fermented through 65 days were dominant and the group of 105 salkt concentration were better than that of 20%. It was the best of 10% salted products to add small abalone. Both law salted(10%) and high salted (20%) Gae-Woo jeot were similar in general constityents, nutrients and texture. 2. Compositions of highly unsaturated acid were farely high to 45.6% and 46.1% in small abalone added froup and top sheel added group respectively. during 3 months fermentation low decreasing rate of 3~4% was shown. EPA(eicosapentaenoic acid) was approximately 7~8% and DHA(docosahexaenoic acid) was extremely low to be less than 0.3%. 3. In the changes General composition and pH, pH was within range of 4~5.5, 9~12% in protein, 3~5% in total sugar, 0.5~1% in lipid and approximately 1% in ash. 4. Gae-Woo jeot can be made with 10% low salting method, and 10% group gets all the better for taste, small abalone adding is recommended. 5. When low salt fermented fish of 10% is processed, it is highly recommended to put sorbitol, ethyl alcohol, lactic acid or other humectant for better taste and longer storage and good quality food additives must be developed for tourist and presently applied mil ordering transportation must be sought.

        후이개에 발생한 거대 표피양낭종 1예

        Epidermoid cyst is slowly growing, round and firm tumor. Generally it grows up to 0.5 to 5 cm in diameter. Epidermoid cyst is rarely found in postauricular region. The cyst is intradermal or subcutaneous sac-like structure that is surrounded by keratinized epithelium with no dermal annexe in its covering epithelium. In surgical treatment, the cyst wall must be completely removed because residual portions of it can result in cyst recurrence. We report a case in which a 41-year-old man developed an epidermoid cyst presenting as a large postauricular swelling with a review of literature.

        Strut-and-tie models can illustrate very well the internal flow of forces in structural concrete and thereby, provide valuable assistance to the designer who is striving for an appropriate and functional conceptual design. After some introductory statements this will be demonstrated by dimensioning and detailing the support region of concrete box girders. In this paper it will be shown how a strut-and-tie model for the different arrangement of transverse diaphragm are developed and how in the model the interaction between the longitudinal and cross sections must be considered.

        數 種 韓藥의 아세틸콜린에스터레이즈 酵素活性에 대한 효과

        아세틸콜린에스터레이즈(AChE)는 신경조직에 분포하는 효소로 신경전달물질 중 아세틸콜린(ACh)을 분해하는 효소로 시냅스 신호전달체계에 있어 중요한 역할을 하는 효소이다. 현재 알츠하이머병과 치매치료에 사용하는 서양약물은 AChE의 활성을 저해하는 작용기전을 가진다. 목적 : 전통적으로 기억력 감퇴, 치매 등 치료에 사용되어 온 한약의 AChE에 대한 작용을 밝히기 위해 본 실험이 구상되었다. 방법 : 생쥐 대뇌신경세포의 균질 혼합액으로부터 효소의 활성을 Ellman 방법을 개선한 엘리자(ELISA)법을 이용하여 측정하였다. 결과 : 실험결과 天花? 의 6종이 2.5㎎/㎖의 농도에서 우수한 효소활성저해력을 보였고, 50% 효소활성 저해농도(ID_50)를 구한 결과, 天花?의 ID_50은 1.5㎎/㎖이었고, ??? 1.2 ㎎/㎖, ?? 2.0 ㎎/㎖, ??草 1.2 ㎎/㎖, ??? 1.0 ㎎/㎖, ??生 1.7㎎/㎖, 및 大?皮 2.0 ㎎/㎖를 나타내어 忍冬?의 저해력이 가장 우수하였다. 결론 : 치매 및 기억력감퇴 증상을 치료하는 한약의 작용기전 중 AChE 효소활성억제효과는 忍冬? 의 6종에서 나타났으며, 이는 전통적인 한방치료에 과학적인 기초자료를 제공할 것으로 생각한다.

        외경 0.25mm 의 동맥문합에 있어서 항혈전제의 효과

        In 1960, Jacobson and Suarez reported a 100 per cent patency rate following the anastomoses of vessels which were 1.6 to 3.2 mm in diameter. This report speeded modern-day microvascular surgery up for the last 20 years. High patency rate is reported in microvascular anastomosis of the 1.0mm diameter, and microvascular surgery is widely used in clinical practice. Improvement in methosds of microanastomoses and development of the microvascular instruments, including the operating microscope along with the microsutures make the microvascular anastomoses of vessels that are less than 0.5mm in diameter opssible. The key problem microvascular surgery is the formation of thrombus which is mainly composed of platelets, causing occlusion of the anastomotic site. So much efforts have been made in developing effective anticoagulants. Currently used systemic anticoagulants are heparin, aspirin and persantin. Aspirin inhibits collagen-induced platelet aggregation and the primary action of persanin is to inhibit platelet aggregation to ADP, collagen, and epinephrine, is widely used as effective anticoagulant for patients of atherosclerosis, hemodialysis, and subarachnoid hemorrhage. An animal study was carried out to investigate the opssibility of tichlopidine-HCI to be used as a choice of anticoagulant in microvascular surgery. One hundred and twenty rats were divided into 3 groups. Group A was the control group. Aspirin and Persantin were given orally in group B. Ticlopidine-HCI was given orally in group C. A superficial epigastric artery as small as 0.25mm in hage devised autogenous fascia and silicone rubber tube method to splint the suture line and reduce the bleeding casued by anticoagulants. Fewer sutures were required, saving time and effort in microvascular repair. The results were as follows: 1. At 20 minutes after anastomoses, the patency rates were 100% in all groups. 2. At 3 days after anastomoses, the patency rates were 75% in the control group(A), 75% in the aspirin-persanting group(B), and 80% in the ticlopidine group(C). 3. At 3 weeks after anastomoses, the patency rates were 70% in the group A, 75% in the group B, and 80% in the group C. It is concluded that the ticlopidine-HCI may be used in the microvascular anastomoses of very small arteries as the anticoagulant of choice.

        화학과 생물 교과서에서 삼투 개념에 관한 설명 유형 분석

        이 연구에서는 고등학교와 대학교 화학과 생물 교과서에 제시된 삼투 개념에 대한 설명 유형 및 그림표현 유형을 분석하였다. 그리고 고등학교 화학Ⅱ 교과서와 생물Ⅱ교과서의 단원을 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 삼투현상에 대해서는 용매의 확산으로 설명하는 유형, 충돌로 설명하는 유형, 수화로 설명하는 유형, 농도의 평형으로 설명하는 유형 그리고 구멍을 막는 것으로 설명하는 유형 등 다섯 가지 유형으로 설명하고 있었다. 그리고 삼투 개념에 대한 설명 유형과 교과서에 제시된 그림 표현 유형 사이에 일치하지 않는 경우도 분석되었다. In this study, we analyzed types of explanation on osmosis concept that were represented in chemistry and biology textbooks of high school and college. There were 5 types of explanation on osmosis concept. The types of explanation were diffusion of solvent, collision, hydration, equilibrium of concentration and screen of holes. Last two types of explanation were classified into misconceptions. The various types of explanation on osmosis concept might cause to have be a reason that students had many misconceptions and to feel difficult to learn about osmosis concept. Many of textbooks is accord to types of concept explanation and figure explanation on osmosis but some is not
