From Homo Sapiens to Phono Sapiens: Smartphones as Intimate Strangers in the Age of Posthumanism

Released in 2018, Intimate Strangers is a Korean remake of the Italian original, Perfect Strangers (2016), about smartphone dictated lives as the central plot. With the invention of new words such as digital zombies, smartphone addictions, nomophobia, and phubbing, we have evolved from “homo sapiens” to smartphone using “phono sapiens”. Even the director of Intimate Strangers admitted his smartphone as his best friend. The movie’s notable tagline: “We all have three lives: public life, private life and secret life” promotes a lot of questions, and this paper will attempt to understand how deeply smartphones have penetrated into our everyday lives: be it public, private or secret. As one of the character claims, “Nobody is perfect in this world, and we can easily get hurt. This smartphone has too much information and to play a game with such a perfect device is not a good idea. We could find out that we know less than we thought. Also, we don’t necessarily need to know so much about each other.” The movie’s unexpected twist in the end opens up even more questions on truth and trust as we approach smartphone dictated posthuman society.

关于周作人及其散文创作中“故乡情结”的探析 ― 以浙东文化为中心

周作人, 这样一位驰骋在二十世纪上半叶中国近现代文学领域中的作家, 出身于绍兴世家, 是鲁迅之弟, 从小深受地域文化的熏陶, 对家乡人民的民俗风情颇有研究, 以至于在散文创作中对故乡的风土习俗及其历史背景信手拈来, 他的作品可谓是当代学者研究浙东文化的一手好材料。 本文主要内容共分为五章。首先在导论中, 我们导入了浙东文化这一语境。第二章主要是从平淡冲和下的闲适和苦涩新奇后的坚韧着手, 分析了浙东文化与周作人的性格禀赋。第三章则考察了浙东文化与周作人的创作理念之间的联系, 即探讨了周作人如何将“开放兼容, 经世致用”的浙东文化为己所用, 又是怎样从现实主义出发, 将“人的文学”一贯到底。第四章则在前三章的论述之下, 进而探讨了周作人散文中的“故乡情结”, 根据周作人在散文创作中对故乡风俗的描绘, 以及对故乡优异品格的继承, 总结出故乡书写实际上是作家文化身份的建构与认同, 而并不是自身在文章中说的“没有特别的情分”。最后以前面章节所述为基础做总结, 并且通过周作人与其兄长鲁迅创作风格的对比, 论证“地域决定论”的欠缺性, 并提出日后值得研究和探讨的方向。 Zhou Zuoren had been an active writer in contemporary Chinese literature in the first half of the 20th century, and he was the younger brother of Lu Xun. He had been deeply influenced by local culture and studied natural features and custom of his hometown, explored the historical background in the field of prose, and his works are excellent materials for contemporary scholars to research on Zhedong Culture. The content of this article is divided into five chapters. In the introduction part, the context of Zhedong Culture is applied, and Zhedong Culture and Zhou Zuoren’s character endowment is mainly analyzed in the second chapter. The third chapter examines the connection between Zhedong Culture and Zhou Zuoren’s creative ideas. The fourth chapter analyzes the contents of Nostalgia in prose of Zhou Zuoren based on the third chapter and reveals that hometown-related works are actually the artist’s cultural identity, and it does not mean that special affection is not included in his writing based on his description of hometown customs in prose and the succession of the dignity of the hometown. Lastly, this article summarizes the shortcomings of regional determinism by comparing Zhou Zuoren and his elder brother Lu Xun’s creative style, and argues the lack of regional determinism to suggest future research assignments and directions.

In this paper, we consider regularity criterion for the three-dimensional incompressible magnetohydrodynamic equations. We present some sufficient integrability conditions on some components of the velocity and magnetic fields for the regularity of the weak solutions.

The purposes of this paper were to identify the characteristics and types of tourism souvenirs, and to examine the tourism condition of foreign tourists in korea, and to examine the design of tourism souvenirs of korea and foreign countries. Finally, Some suggestions in the developing of souvenirs design were made. The problems and solutions in developing tourism souvenirs design are as follows: 1.Various item that have modern sense and traditional cultural characteristics is needed to be developed. 2.To Differentiate the designs of various souvenir items sold in various places is important. 3.Before developing the souvenirs design, we must investigate the consumer's needs and demands of tourism souvenirs. 4.The special demand for practical design of souvenirs for daily life is getting higher than the demand for complex, difficult and expensive handicraft souvenirs. And also, we need the special marketing strategy and merchandising process development for modern tourism souvenirs because tourism souvenirs can be a kind of product.

작은 이득의 적분오차 궤환시스템에 관한 Riccati식을 풀기위한 섭동법

출력측의 offset를 없애기 위하여 적분오차 궤환시스템이 많이 이용되고 있다. 이런 궤환시스템을 설계할 때 나타나는 Riccati식을 효율적이면서 수치적으로 안전하게 풀 수 있는 방법을 고안하였다. 섭동법의 기술을 이용하였다. 간단한 예제를 통하여 본 방법의 유용성을 보였다.

<Abstract> CALL(Computer-Assisted Language Learning) is interdisciplinary in nature and it has eveolved out of using the computer for instructional purposes across a wide variety of subject areas. This paper reviews theories and research from second language acquisition; 2) psychology; 3) artificial intelligence; 4) natural language processing; 5) human-computer interaction and 6) instructional design. By reviewing theories and research from other disciplines, a clearer understanding of theory and practice of CALL would emerge. It would also provide solutions for the problems in the CALL area, such as a lack of standards for current generation of CALL material developments and no reliable conceptual framework by which to measure the CALL programs.

A series expansion method for the optimal regulation of nonlinear chemical processes is derived by apply???? perturbation technique to the Bellman's recurrence equation. The approximate solution by this method is accurate can be easily calculated and implemented, which is illustrated by simulating two examples for well-known chemical processes.
