      • 감마선 분광분석법에 의한 환경방사선 연구

        For the purpose of practical assessment of resional environmental radiation characteristics, a series of in-situ spectromentry was carried out using a 3″ø×3″cylindrical NaI(T1) scintillation detector in association with a MCA at eight different points in open field of Daejeon area. In determining the exposure rate from the spectra obtained, the methods developed by Beck et al. was used. The exposure rate evaluated in this way was compared with those observed by the Moriuchi's spectrum-exposure rate conversion operator, and Reuter/Stokes environmental radiation monitor. The three results were in good agreement within statistical uncertainty. Although the exposure rate in this area varied with place, the spectra measured are quite similar in pattern. It was shown that the major part of the terrestrial radiation in the area consists of the gamma-rays emitted from the daughter products of ^238U and ^232Th series and then from ^40K.

        Catalytic hydrogenation of benzyl cyanide and phenyl cyanide with Pd/c and chloroform as proton source produce effecitively the primary amines, β-phenylethyl amine and benzyl amine respectively. Hydrogn chloride originated from hydrogenolysis of chloroform eliminates the primary amines reduced from nitriles on the catalytic (Pd/c) surface, preventing secondary amine formation. When methylene chloride is used as proton source in the catalytic (Pd/c) hydrogenation of nitriles, secondary amines are produced. With Raney-Ni, catalytic hydrogenation of some nitriles and nitrocompounds with chloroform as proton source do not give the expected reduction products, amines. Since the expected intermediate, nitrosobenzenc and N-pheny-lhydroxylamine was smoothly reduced to aniline in the catalytic reduction, they might be the intermediates in the catalytic (Ra-Ni) reduction of nitrobenzene. The expected product, water from Ra-Ni catalylic hydrogenation of nitrobenzene was identified by Gas Chromatography.

      • Schaeffer酸의 아조커플링 반응에 關한 硏究

        The azocoupling reactions of Schaeffer acid with several monosubstituted benzene-diazonium salts have been studied kinetically in an aqueous solution buffered at pH 7.10 and in some other medium conditions. The fact that the rate of coupling reaction depends on the ionic strength and pH of the medium showed that the reaction was followed by Bartlett's ionic mechanism explaining the reaction between naphtholate ion and diazonium ion. The addition of pyridine on the azocoupling of Schaeffer acid with p-nitro and p-methylbenzenediazonium salts showed the base catalysis, which indicated the dependence of this reaction on two steps processes. The azocoupling reaction rate of Schaeffer acid with p-chlorobenzenediazonium salt proceeded faster than those of Croceic acid and G-acid, which were shown the steric hindrance effect on the adjacent position of the coupling. The azocoupling reaction rate in the presence of an electron-withdrawing group in active components was more favorable than in presence of an electron-donating group, and the coupling reaction with diazotized p-nitroaniline proceeded 230 times more rapidly than that with the benzenediazonium salt, which is coupled 40 times faster than the diazotized p-anisidine. The activation energies measured in the coupling reaction of Schaeffer acid with diazotized aniline, p-nitroaniline, sulfanilic acid, p-chloroaniline, p-bromoaniline, p-toluidine, p-anisidine were 11.55, 6.69, 8.18, 10.31, 10.82, 13.39 and 14.89Kcal/mol, respectively. A linear free energy relationship has been essentially observed and also Yukawa-Tsuno modified Hammett plot permitted a good log(??)=ρ(σ+r. Δσ+??) linear relationship when considering the mesomeric effect. The calculated reaction constant of these azocoupling reactions was ρ=3.13, and the reaction constant of resonance contribution was calculated as r=0.41 at 20℃.

        The composition of Ginseng shows different proportions by the plant areas. The authors therefore, analyzed the general composition of amino-acid and dammarane aglycone in the Ginseng extracts derived from Kangwha Ginseng, Kumsan Ginseng, Buyeo Ginseng and Punggi Ginseng, which were 5 or 6 years old. The results were as follows; 1) The proportion of diluted alcohol extract was 20.31%-39.33% in 6 years root and 20.47%-37.22% in 5 years root by the plant areas. 2) Water extract was 17.29%-33.72% in 6 years root and 13.49%-30.93% in 5 years root by the plant areas. 3) Loss on drying was 2.17%-3.16% in 6 years root and 2.16%-3.08% in 5 years root by the plant areas. 4) Ash was 3.19-4.79% in all kinds of Ginseng. 5) In determination of amino acid, aspartic acid thereonine, serin, glutamic acid, proline, alanine, valine, methionine, isoleucine, leucine, thyrocine, phenylalanine, lysine and arginine were found and arginine was main amino acid. 6) Kumsan Ginseng had 0.155-0.158% of panaxadiol and its cortex 0.553-1.079%

        Monoclonal Antibody를 이용한 Streptococcus mutans 검출 방법의 임상적 적용에 관한 연구

        Monoclonal antibody를 이용한 Saliva-check Mutans키트의 타액 Streptococcus mutans검출방법으로서의 활용도와 임상적 우식지수 및 기존의 세균배양방법과의 상관관계를 알아보기 위해 2008년 2월에서 5월 중 평촌키즈웰치과에 내원한 만 2세에서 만 8세 사이의 92명의 아동을 대상으로 Streptococcus mutans 검출검사를 실시하였으며 또한 우식에 영향을 미치는 다른 요인인 치면세균막 pH와 타액완충능력검사를 실시하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1. Saliva-check Mutans 검사결과 양성을 나타낸 아동은 27명으로 29.3%이었고, 음성을 나타낸 아동은 65명으로 70.65%이었다. 우식경험유치면률은 음성 아동 13.89%, 양성 아동 25.23%으로 나타났다. 2. Monoclonal antibody를 이용한 검사방법 인 Saliva- Mutans와 기존의 세균 배양방법인 -SM은 각각 상이한 검사방법을 이용함에도 불구하고 검사결과 높은 상관관계를 보였다(p<0.01). 3. Saliva-check Mutans검사와 치면세균막 pH검사와는 역상관관계를 나타내었으나(p<0.01),타액완충능 검사와는 상관관계가 나타나지 않았다(p>0.05). 이상의 결과로 보았을 때 Monoclonal antibody를 이용한 검사방법인 Saliva-check Mutans는 구강 내 Streptococcus mutans를 측정하는 방법으로 적당하며 또한 검사에 필요한 시간을 대폭 줄일 수 있고 사용방법도 매우 간편하게 개발되어 환자들에게 적용함에 있어 효과적이라고 사료되었다. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the clinical effectiveness of new streptococcus detection system which used monoclonal antibody against Streptococcus mutans. 92 children aged between 2 and 8 were involved in this experiment and their saliva samples were collected for testing. Streptococcus mutans were measured by both monoclonal antibody-based detecting system (Saliva-check Mutans) and dip slide detecting system(Dentocult-SM). The results showed that Saliva-check Mutans levels had a significant correlation with dfs rate of subjects and the two test kits, Saliva-check Mutans and Dentocult-SM were shown to have a good correlation although they were based on different mechanism.

        A case of horseshoe kidney associated with bilateral renal stones and variation of the renal vessel was presented with a brief review of the literatures. The patient was managed by ureterolithotomy and ureteroureterostomy because UPJ was compressed with aberrant renal vein. The result was good.

      • DSP칩을 이용한 고속 스펙트럼 분석 장치개발에 관한 연구

        Signal analysis in frequency domain attracts many electrical engineers in sense that a viewpoint of the problem is puted to other direction. So, spectrum analyzer has become essential equipment as a measurement device. Because the FFT theory which becomes base of the digital spectrum analyzer, has to process many calculation, the real time processing is very difficult, and so the engineers of this field has continued to research reduction of calculation or fast processing in the FFT operation. In this paper, DSP(Digital Signal Processor) chip by development of novel semiconductor technology applys in general FFT theory, and is processed in real time. For these, this paper proposed an algorithm of the software and a configuration of hardware. In conclusion, this proved that 128 point FFT operation was able to process in real time(4,257ms).
