      • 21세기 선교의 한 축 : 노인복지

        장훈주 베뢰아학회 2006 베뢰아논단 Vol.1 No.3

CHANG, Hoon Zoo. "The Welfare Program for the Elerly as Mission in 21th Century. "Berea Forum 1 (2006): 307~328. The fact is not surprising anymore that South Korea faces rapidly ageing populations. The church should be sensitive to this current situation and act in a proper way. It means it is necessary for the church to be more active to develop relevant programs. A welfare business in church is different from a general welfare business when it comes to delivering the love of God. Christians' social welfare business is fulfilled by obedience to God's word. The word to love your neighbor is represented in the old and new testaments, and it means that it is a must~commandment as christians. In addition, the Bible tells that the elders should be respected and protected. Therefore, the church has a duty for the elderly welfare business. Through these welfare program for the elderly, the church can make a success to form an image as "a church serving the community" in and out the community and the church, which is a merit certainly to the church. Additionally, when the government or social groups try to perform a welfare program for the elder, place secure and management budget are necessary, but not sufficient, yet. However, the church has not only proper facilities to administer the welfare program, but also various manpower and budget for mission. Consequently, the church can fulfill the mission goal with the service for the community, one of the functions of the church as they manage the welfare program. If the churches in South Korea execute these programs matching its condition, they would face the new growth era.

      • SPTE 및 GC-MS를 이용한 한국산 및 중국산 생강의 향미 특성 분석

        유주원,김남선,김건,이동선 서울여자대학교 자연과학연구소 2005 자연과학연구논문집 Vol.17 No.-

Volatile flavor components of the Korean and the Chinese ginger (Zingiber officinale Roscoe) have been studied in this paper. The accurate characterization of the flavors from the ginger rhizomes was carried out by head space solid phase trapping-solvent extraction (SPTE) and gas chromatography-ion trap mass spectrometry. Predominant compounds of the Korean ginger flavors are zingiberene, β-phellandrene, camphene, β-sequiphellandrene and α-farnesene, whereas those of the Chinese ginger flavors are β-phellandrene, camphene, zingiberene and α-farnesene. In addition, α-pinene, α-curcumene, β-pinene and β-bisabolene are also found as minor compounds of ginger flavors. A new finding in this work is that limonene, β-sesquiphellandrene, germacrene D, and zingiberene are critical index to distinguish the origin between the Korean ginger and the Chinese ginger.

      • 한국 미생물 자원의 개발연구 : 특히 유용 미생물주(균주)의 분리와 응용에 관한 연구 The Research on the Isolation and Application of Utilizable Microorganisms Related to Jeonju Materials

이주식,백승화,이오형 Natural Science Research Institute JEONJU UNIVERSI 1987 전주대학교 자연과학연구소 학술논문집 Vol.2 No.2

The isolated strains of microbes from some hay, water of lake, marketing milk and Tachju brewing in Jeonju area. Were as follows Isolated 10 strains of Bacillus group, 2 strainins of Chlorella group, 2 strains of Lactobacillus group, 2 strains of Saccharomyces grpup and other microbes and determinated 4 strains in the 20 strains and application of utlizable microorganisms studies on the strains or pure cultual materials. Microbiological and biochemical examined for each organism. Its Bacillus species, Lactobacillus species, Chlorella species and Saccharomyces species were as follows. Bacillus species in Bacillus subtilis natto like strain. In addition, some of these strains were prepared to show different responses to the biotin added medium. Therefore our primary purpose was to examine the possible effects of glutamic acid, biotin and boiling soybean extract on the growth or sporulation of one these strains. It is a novel finding that biothin and soybean extrat affects on its sporulation. Glulamic acid was required for both its growth and sporulation. Chlorella species is Chlorella ellipsoidea like strain. The optimum cultural conditions and composition of the medium for wild Chlorella ellipsoidea were studies as follow. The addition than in control in concentration of the nitrogen sources high presented the effective result in the increasing order of meat extract, peptone amino, acid. Lactobacillus species is Lactobacillus casei like. Lactobacillus casei was isolated relatively high temperature and high salt contend and mesothermophilic condition. In addition, among, J-1, J-2, J-3 strains isolated together from above samples, J-2 was prominant in producing typical curd within 20 hours. Saccharomyces species is Saccharomyces cerevisiae like. When Sacchromyces cerevisiae like was used as a sole yeast source, this was dominated soon after it. But in this case Hansennula, Candida, Pichia, Torulopsis etc. were alse found out. This fact indicates that many kinds of yeast species were related with the alcohol fermentation. Biochemical studies on Cell-bound a-amylase in Bacillus subtilis like. Extracelluiar and Cell-bound a-amylase were purified separately and some of their biochemical properties examined. The amount of extracellular a-amylase produced by bacteria is known to very greatly with growth conditions. Extracellular a-amylase activity was more inhibited than cell bound a-amylase by metal ions tested.

랫트의 鉛中毒에 대한 Butyl hydroxyanisole(BHA)의 影響에 관한 硏究

        조필형,안영근,김주영 한국환경독성학회 1991 환경독성보건학회지 Vol.6 No.1

The present study was undertaken to examine the effect of butylhydroxyanisole (BHA) on the lead poisoning in Wister female rats. All experimental rats except normal group were fed with diets formulated by adding BHA in a range of 0.1% to 3.2% and aqueous solution of 1% lead acetate ad libitum through the experimental period. The results obtained are summarized as follows: 1) Lead sedimentation in kidney tissue was decreased with increasing experimental period and BHA level of lead plus BHA-treated groups in comparison with that of lead-treated control group. 2) The weights of lung, spleen and left/right (L/R) kidney were significantly de-creased in comparison with those of lead-treated control group after 2 weeks of experimental period, but no difference was shown with those of normal group. 3) The weights of lung, spleen and L/R kidney were increased in lead-treated control group as compared with normal group after 2 weeks of experimental period, but no difference was shown with increasing experimental period. 4) Water intake was remarkably decreased in lead-treated control group as compared with normal group, but water intake by increasing BHA level of lead plus BHA-treated groups showed no significant difference from that of normal group. 5) These results suggest that BHA is effective for reducing the toxic effect of lead in rats.

      • Interplay of innovation and standardization: Exploring the relevance in developing countries

Zoo, H.,de Vries, H.J.,Lee, H. American Elsevier 2017 TECHNOLOGICAL FORECASTING AND SOCIAL CHANGE Vol.118 No.-

A growing body of literature recognizes the positive interplay between innovation and standardization. International organizations such as OECD and WTO also increase support for developing countries in building capabilities in innovation and standardization. Yet the relationship between innovation and standardization in developing countries, characterized by relatively weaker technological, economic and institutional capacities, remain under-researched. We review 63 articles extracted from the Web of Science database covering the innovation-standardization nexus in the context of developing countries. We discuss whether and how the relationship between innovation and standardization provides implications for the socioeconomic development in developing countries, and draw a conceptual model to understand the dynamics. Our result shows that standards facilitate innovation in three ways: innovation by scaling, proving and coordinating. While inducing and blocking mechanisms are at play, various stakeholders are involved in the relationship. Among them, the roles of the government and the technology/industry support organizations are highlighted, as they complement the relatively weak technological capabilities of other actors. In contrast to the existing literature on developed countries where standardization is depicted as a dynamic process to shape the innovation path, the current discussion on developing countries is skewed toward the adoption aspect of standards. We also suggest that there is a chasm between the goals of economic growth and those of social development.

The Relation between Body Composition of the Aged and the Change of Physical Fitness Level through Complex Exercise Training for 12 weeks

        Zoo, Suk-Bum,Choi, Yoo-Rim,Sim, Ki-Cheol,Kim, Mi-Jung,Choi, Wan-Suk,Koo, Ja-Pung,Lee, Suk-Hee,Lee, Sang-Bin International Academy of Physical Therapy Research 2011 Journal of International Academy of Physical Ther Vol.2 No.1

The purpose of this study is to investigate and reveal the effects that the complex exercise training consisting of aerobic exercise and strength training(sit up, push up) that everyone can easily practice regardless of a time and a place in order to manage practically the physical strength of the aged affects the difference on their body composition and the change of physical fitness level. Looking into the change of body composition of an experimental group, the weight of 2.5kg was reduced after applying complex training for 12 weeks and the body fat mass of 2.65kg was reduced. Also, the abdominal fat of 0.13% was decreased and the muscle mass of 1.56kg was increased. For the change factors of physical fitness, cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength, muscular endurance, balance and flexibility excluding agility showed significant improvement after applying complex exercise training. The improvement of health fitness of the aged under this study was significantly effective to improve specified body functions which had been lowered by aging and insufficient physical activities. So, it is regarded that their health fitness is the important factor to improve the activity competence required for daily life and to lead healthy living by the improved activity competence. Henceforth, it needs to study more the complex composition of several sports, exercise intensity and the frequency based on the previous researches and studies. In addition, it needs to develop the complex exercise training in accordance with various characteristics such as a sex of the aged, an age, a physical fitness level, environment, a disease and the program in consideration of the efficacy and safety during training.
