Zhongying Li,Yanhong Chen,Wenrong Li,Fan Yan 연세대학교의과대학 2020 Yonsei medical journal Vol.61 No.8
Purpose: Hyperoxia-induced bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD) is a lung disease in preterm infants. We aimed to explore therole of cell division cycle 2 (CDC2) on histopathologic changes of lung tissues, as well as the viability, apoptosis, and inflammationof lung cells in rats with hyperoxia-induced BPD. Materials and Methods: Hyperoxia-induced BPD in neonatal rats and hyperoxia-induced A549 cells were constructed. The mRNAexpression of CDC2 was detected by qRT-PCR. The fibrosis score of lung tissues was evaluated by hematoxylin-eosin staining. Theviability and apoptosis of A549 cells were detected by cell counting kit-8 assay and flow cytometry. The protein expressions of bcl-2,bax, and caspase-3 were measured by western blot. The levels of tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), interleukin (IL)-6, and IL-1β inA549 cells were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. The pcDNA3.1-CDC2 was injected into rats to determine therole of CDC2 in hyperoxia-induced BPD in vivo. Results: The expression of CDC2 was decreased in lung tissues of neonatal rats with hyperoxia-induced BPD and hyperoxia-inducedA549 cells. The fibrosis score was increased in the lung tissues of neonatal rats with hyperoxia-induced BPD. Overexpressionof CDC2 increased the viability and protein expression of bcl-2; and inhibited the apoptosis, inflammation, and protein expressionof bax and caspase-3 in hyperoxia-induced A549 cells. Up-regulation of CDC2 alleviated the histopathologic changes in lung tissuesof neonatal rats with hyperoxia-induced BPD. Conclusion: Overexpression of CDC2 promoted the viability and inhibited the apoptosis and inflammation of hyperoxia-inducedcells, and alleviated the histopathologic changes of lung tissues in neonatal rats with hyperoxia-induced BPD.
GLOBALIZATION AND CHINA : CHINA'S RESPONSE TO THE ASIAN ECONOMIC CRISIS
Pang, Zhongying The Institute for Far Eastern Studies, Kyungnam Un 1999 ASIAN PERSPECTIVE Vol.23 No.1
China's national modermization drive over the past two decades has taken place under the context of globalization Globalization has provided both opportunities and challenges to China. So far, China's development and prosperity has depended upon its connections with the outside world. However, the Asian economic crisis was a timely warning for China to participate in globalization, providing the country with an opportunity to draw financial and social lessons from its neighbors. China realizes that it needs more than capital inflows, technology transfer and management introduction to flourish. An appropriate economic structure, such as a healthy banking system, efficient corporate governance, a prevalent rule of law, a clean government, and a workable democracy are at the heart of China's success. As the largest emerging market in the world, China faces a serious test in balancing the benefits and costs of globalization. The incentive to overcome the current Asian and global economic crisis strengthens China's resolve to maintain the momentum of its reforms to meet the challenges of globalization and to fully join the global economy.
Method for Network Traffic Generation Based on User Behavior of Streaming Media
Shuai Zeng,Zhongying Wang,Guofeng Zhao,Shaocong Gai,Jie Duan,Yi Zhang 보안공학연구지원센터 2016 International Journal of Future Generation Communi Vol.9 No.12
Existing traffic generation methods generate traffic by the flow generator structured and then sent data packets, which had two problems, one is that the traffic generated is not enough authenticity, the other one is that the rate of flow is not high. For coping with the method for network traffic generation based on user behavior of streaming media and streaming media server was presented. The test results show that comparing with D-ITG, the size of traffic produced by this method has been obviously improved, and its principle indicates that the flow is highly authentic. The proposed method breaks through the traditional thinking of traffic generator sends packet by itself, which decreases the difficulty of the realization of the traffic generator and has good reference value for the researches and development of traffic generator.

Engineering education has been well implemented in the majority of developed countries such as the USA, Germany, and the United Kingdom so that the gap between engineering science and engineering practice is greatly bridged. However, in China, the gap still exists, and some attempts by Chinese government, even though having made obvious progress, are not very satisfactory yet. Thus, the research on feasible engineering education strategy has drawn our pressing concerns. Based on the analyses of participants' motivation and value chain, an evolutionary model of institute-industry interoperation is proposed, which includes isolated stage, orienting stage, interacting stage, interoperating stage, and convergence stage. The case of one school of software in China is analyzed to support and clarify this model. This institute-industry interoperation model is showing considerable vitality in the development of engineering education, and it can present reference value not only to China but to other countries as well.

N-hydroxyphthalimide (NHPI) and copper chloride (CuCl2) were first utilized for aerobic oxidation of α-isophorone (α-IP) to ketoisophorone (KIP) and the effects of co-catalysts, temperature, reaction time, solvent, amount of CuCl2 and pressure of oxygen were investigated extensively. NHPI/CuCl2 turned out to be highly efficient to this oxidation with up to 91.3% conversion and 81.0% selectivity under mild conditions. And various hydrocarbons including benzylic compounds, cycloalkene and its derivatives were also oxidized smoothly under optimized conditions. Moreover, the possible reaction mechanism was proposed and verified by FT-IR spectra.

The migration, dedifferentiation, and proliferation of vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs) are responsible for intimal hyperplasia, but the mechanism of this process has not been elucidated. WD repeat domain 1 (WDR1) promotes actin-depolymerizing factor (ADF)/cofilin-mediated depolymerization of actin filaments (F-actin). The role of WDR1 in neointima formation and progression is still unknown. A model of intimal thickening was constructed by ligating the left common carotid artery in Wdr1 deletion mice, and H&E staining showed that Wdr1 deficiency significantly inhibits neointima formation. We also report that STAT3 promotes the proliferation and migration of VSMCs by directly promoting WDR1 transcription. Mechanistically, we clarified that WDR1 promotes the proliferation and migration of VSMCs and neointima formation is regulated by the activation of the JAK2/STAT3/WDR1 axis.
Compressive Behavior of Damaged Tubular T-joints Retrofitted with Collar Plate
Peng Deng,Jianxun Guo,Yan Liu,Zhongying Wang 대한토목학회 2019 KSCE JOURNAL OF CIVIL ENGINEERING Vol.23 No.9
The static bearing capacity and failure modes of damaged tubular T-joints retrofitted with collar plates under axial compression were investigated. Two-step loading was applied: First, the chord deformation was loaded to the pre-designed degree, followed by unloading and collar plate installation. Subsequently, the specimens were reloaded. The maximum capacity and corresponding displacement (Δ1,m) were determined, and the ratio of the chord deformation of the other joints to Δ1,m was utilized to define the damage degree. The maximum capacity of retrofitted tubular T-joints could be up to 13 – 77% in second step loading, compared with that of unreinforced T-joints; however, the capacity decreased by 2 – 10% compared to that of directly reinforced T-joints. Sixty-nine finite element models were generated. The effects of chord wall thickness, chord diameters and collar plate lengths on the bearing capacity under different damage degrees were analyzed. A satisfactory effect could be obtained by using a suitable size of expanded collar plates under a constant damage degree. Retrofitting with collar plates could mitigate the development of equivalent plastic strain in the joint intersection, even for considerably damaged tubular T-joints. A modified formula considering the damage degree was proposed for bearing capacity prediction of retrofitted tubular T-joints.
