      • An Improved Multi-objective Evolutionary Algorithm for Multi-Objective 0/1 Knapsack Problem

        To further enhance the distribution uniformity and extensiveness of the solution sets and to ensure effective convergence of the solution sets to the Pareto front, we proposed a MOEA approach based on a clustering mechanism. We named this approach improved multi-objective evolutionary algorithm (LMOEA). This algorithm uses a clustering technology to compute and maintain the distribution and diversity of the solution sets. A fuzzy C-means clustering algorithm is used for clustering individuals. Finally, the LMOEA is applied to solve the classical multi-objective knapsack problems. The algorithm performance was evaluated using convergence and diversity indicators. The proposed algorithm achieved significant improvements in terms of algorithm convergence and population diversity compared with the classical NSGA-II and the MOEA/D.

      • Preparation of YBCO with additives of PbO, $BaPbO_3$ and its Superconducting Properties

        The melting temperature and critical temperature (Tc) of $YBa_2Cu_3O_x$ with deferent content impurities of PbO and $BaPbO_3$ were studied. When the PbO was used as addition in $YBa_2Cu_3O_x$, although the melting point could be reduced, the superconductivity (the transition wide, ${\Delta}T_c$) became poor. From the XRD pattern of the sintered mixture of $YBa_2Cu_3O_x$ and PbO it was known that there is a reaction between $YBa_2Cu_3O_x$ and PbO, and the product is $BaPbO_3$. In the process of the reaction the superconducting phase of $YBa_2Cu_3O_x$ was decreased and in the sample $BaPbO_3$ became the main phase. Therefore the superconductivity was reduced. $BaPbO_3$ was chosen as the impurity for the comparative study. The single phase $BaPbO_3$ was synthesized by the simple way from both mixtures of $BaCO_3$ and PbO, $BaCO_3$ and $PbO_2$. Deferent contents of $BaPbO_3$ (10%, 20%, 30%) were added in the $YBa_2Cu_3O_x$. By the phase analysis in the XRD patterns it was proved that there were not reactions between $YBa_2Cu_3O_x$ and $BaPbO_3$. When $BaPbO_3$ was used as impurity in $YBa_2Cu_3O_x$ the superconductivity was much better than PbO as impurity in $YBa_2Cu_3O_x$. But the melting point of $YBa_2Cu_3O_x$ with $BaPbO_3$ could not be found when the temperature was lower than $1000^{\circ}C$ in the DTA measurement.

      • Application of SiO<sub>2</sub> nanocomposite ferroelectric material in preparation of trampoline net for physical exercise

        Physical exercise, especially intense exercise and high intensity interval training (HIIT) by trampoline, can lead to muscle injuries. These effects can be reduced with intelligent products made of nanocomposite materials. Most of these nanocomposites are polymers reinforced with silicon dioxide, alumina, and titanium dioxide nanoparticles. This study presents a polymer nanocomposite reinforced with silica. As a result of the rapid reaction between tetraethyl orthosilicate and ammonia in the presence of citric acid and other agents, silica nanostructures were synthesized. By substituting bis (4-amino phenoxy) phenyl-triptycene in N, N-dimethylformamide with potassium carbonate, followed by catalytic reduction with hydrazine and Pd/C, the diamine monomer bis (4-amino phenoxy) phenyl-triptycene is prepared. We synthesized a new polyaromatic (imide) with triptycene unit by sol-gel method from aromatic diamines and dianhydride using pyridine as a condensation reagent in NMP. PI readily dissolves in solvents and forms robust and tough polymer films in situ. The FTIR and NMR techniques were used to determine the effects of SiO<sub>2</sub> on the sol-gel process and the structure of the synthesized nanocomposites. By using a simultaneous thermal analysis (DTA-TG) method, the appropriate thermal operation temperature was also determined. Through SEM analysis, the structure, shape, size, and specific surface area of pores were determined. Analysis of XRD results is used to determine how SiO<sub>2</sub> affects the crystallization of phases and the activation energy of crystallization.

      • Superconducting Film with Submicron YBCO powder by EPD

        The submicron YBa_(2)Cu_(3)O_(x) powder was prepared by the sol-gel method. The particle size is distributed from 0.2 to 1.2 ㎛, which benefits to eliminate the micro-cracks formed in the YBa_(2)Cu_(3)O_(x) films deposited by electrophoresis. The powder was single phase of YBa_(2)Cu_(3)O_(x) examined by X-ray diffraction. In the sol-gel process the citrate gel was formed from citric acid and nitrate solution of Y_(2)O_(3), Ba(NO_(3))_(2) and CuO. When pH values were adjusted to 6.4-6.7, Ba(NO_(3))_(2) could be dissolved in the citrate solution completely. Appropriate evaporative temperature of the sol-gel formation is discussed. Acetone is used as electrophoretic solution, in which some water and iodine (0.2 g/1) and polyethylene glycol (2 vol.%) are added. The concentration of YBa_(2)Cu_(3)O_(x) powders is 20 g/l. The thickness of deposited film could be more than 50 ㎛ in 3 minutes of depositing time. The most EPD films could be 90 K zero resistance and the Jc values were over 1000 A/cm^(2)(0 H, 77 K).

        Analyzing the Deformation of Multilayered Saturated Sandy Soils under Large Building Foundation

        The generalized plasticity theory has been subject of much research in geomechanics. The Pastor-Zienkiewicz model and its modified versions are among these. For large foundations resting on multilayered soils the actual loading is often non-linear. In this study we developed a new mathematical model which can apply non-linear loading using the subfield of planar mesh method. A sensitivity study was first performed to evaluate the contribution of deformation from various model parameters. It is found that the plastic modulus parameters only have marginal contributions. An engineering case study was used to valid the proposed model and it is evident from measured stresses that the loading of the foundation is non-linear. The deformations calculated by the proposed model agreed well with the monitored deformations. It is also found that the maximum deformation point is not necessarily in the centre of foundation and it does not coincide with the maximum loading point either. The distance between the maximum deformation point and the maximum loading point can be as far as 15.59 m for the bottom layer soil from this case. This research proves the necessity of using non-linear loading to calculate the foundation deformations for large foundations with multilayered saturated soils.

      • The Study of Synchronous Belt Transmission Stability with the Influence of Rotation Speed and Tension

        The vibration of belt affects the transmission stability, products noise and the life of automotive synchronous belt. The mathematical model of longitudinal vibration was established through analyzing the longitudinal vibration of automotive synchronous belt. The vibration dynamic measurement device was developed based on the laser displacement triangulation measurement principle, aiming at RU style arc teethed synchronous belt transmission process, measured the variety of amplitude over time at the middle of the belt span when rotation speed was 600r/min, 1200r/min, 1800r/min and tensile force was 320N, 480N, 640N, obtained the rules of amplitude and frequency change along with the variation of rotation speed and tensile force. It has significance on improving the transmission stability of arc teeth synchronous belt, reducing the transmission noise and prolonging the service life of belt.

      • Design of On-line Monitoring System for Intelligent Package Substation based on WSN and GPRS

        An idea of applying wireless sensor network and GPRS to intelligent package substation on-line monitoring system is brought to light in this paper. Network schemes of intelligent package substation are given based on wireless sensor network and GPRS. The detailed analysis has also been made on some key technologies. At the same time, the combination of special CT and accumulators is adopted to solve the power supply shortage of sensor nodes effectively. To reduce the routing hops and improve the transmission efficiency, the two-layer and three-cluster of network structure is used. Finally, the on-line monitoring system of transformer room is taken as an example, it is discussed how to obtained optimal layout of sensor nodes. The paper also points out which can be taken as the research focus in the future such as intellectualized reconstruction of package substation, network security and clock synchronization.

      • Fine YBaCuO Superconducting Powder Prepared by Sol-gel Method

        Abstract - In order to get proper original suspension for the electophoresis process of making YBaCuO films, YBaCuO superconductor powder was prepared with the Sol-gel method. The composition of the powder was analyzed by X-ray diffraction, which was identified as YBa_2Cu_3O_7-X(Y123) phase. The form of YBaCuO single particle was showed to be spherical by scanning electronic microscope and its size was among 0.2-1 ㎛. The critical transition temperature (T_c) and the critical current density (J_c) were measured with the four-probe method. The T_c was about 91 K, and the J_c was 5-30 A/㎠.
