Hybrid Evaluation Method for Dispatching Control Level of Smart Distribution Network
Yu‑Qian Wang,Leijiao Ge,Na Zhang 대한전기학회 2019 Journal of Electrical Engineering & Technology Vol.14 No.6
Smart distribution network (SDN) is an important part of smart grid (SG), and its dispatching control level is closely related to the safety and reliability of power system. In order to comprehensively and systematically evaluate the dispatching and control level of smart distribution network, this paper constructs an evaluation index system based on the considerations of reliability, economy, efectiveness, adaptability and cleanness. Taking into account the disadvantages of subjective weighting methods and the objective weighting methods, this paper puts forward a kind of subjective and objective mixed evaluation method for dispatching control level of SDN. In view of the great infuence of expert opinions of subjective weighting method and the high data dependence of objective weighting method, the binomial coefcient method of subjective weighting is combined with the multi-objective programming method of objective weighting to give weight to each index in the comprehensive evaluation index system of dispatching control level of SDN. Case studies verify the proposed method has great signifcance to the evaluation of the dispatching control level of SDN. It can efectively evaluate the dispatching level of SDN and provide a reference for the improvement of the dispatching control level of SDN.

Hypoxia-induced microtubule disruption and mitochondrial permeability transition (mPT) are crucial events leading to fatal cell damage and recent studies showed that microtubules (MTs) are involved in the modulation of mitochondrial function. Dynein light chain Tctex-type 1 (DYNLT1) is thought to be associated with MTs and mitochondria. Previously we demonstrated that DYNLT1 knockdown aggravates hypoxia-induced mitochondrial permeabilization, which indicates a role of DYNLT1 in hypoxic cytoprotection. But the underlying regulatory mechanism of DYNLT1 remains illusive. Here we aimed to investigate the phosphorylation alteration of DYNLT1 at serine 82 (S82) in hypoxia (1% O2). We therefore constructed recombinant adenoviruses to generate S82E and S82A mutants, used to transfect H9c2 and HeLa cell lines. Development of hypoxia-induced mPT (MMP examining, Cyt c release and mPT pore opening assay), hypoxic energy metabolism (cellular viability and ATP quantification), and stability of MTs were examined. Our results showed that phosph-S82 (S82-P) expression was increased in early hypoxia; S82E mutation (phosphomimic) aggravated mitochondrial damage, ele-vated the free tubulin in cytoplasm and decreased the cellular viability; S82A mutation (dephosphomimic) seemed to diminish the hypoxia-induced injury. These data suggest that DYNLT1 phosphorylation at S82 is involved in MTs and mitochondria regulation, and their interaction and cooperation contribute to the cellular hypoxic tolerance. Thus, we provide new insights into a DYNLT1 mechanism in stabilizing MTs and mitochondria, and propose a potential therapeutic target for hypoxia cytoprotective studies.

Endophytes are typically non-pathogenic microbesthat at some period in their life cycles colonize the interiorspaces of plant tissues. There is a growing interest in the roleof the endophytes in ameliorating various stresses on plants, including biotic stress (such as pathogenic microbes) andabiotic stress (such as drought and salt stress), becauseendophytes can produce phytohormones, fixing nitrogen, antagonistic substances, enzymes, which plays an importantrole in plants respond to biotic and abiotic stress. Previouslyresearchers have reviewed endophytes promote plant growththrough direct or indirect mechanisms. In order to furtherclarify the interactions between endophytes and it’s hostplants, we reviewed the biological properties of endophytesisolated from different parts of plant, the methods of plantinoculation with endophytes and the beneficial effects ofendophytes to mitigate biotic and abiotic stress in plants.
Trichel Pulse in Negative DC Corona discharge and Its Electromagnetic Radiations
Zhang, Yu,Liu, Li-Juan,Miao, Jin-Song,Peng, Zu-Lin,Ouyang, Ji-Ting The Korean Institute of Electrical Engineers 2015 Journal of Electrical Engineering & Technology Vol.10 No.3
We investigate in this paper the radiated electromagnetic waves together with the discharge characteristics of Trichel pulse of negative DC corona discharge in air in pin-to-plate and wire-to-plate configurations. The feature of the current pulse and the frequency spectrum of the electromagnetic radiations were measured under various pressures and gas gaps. The results show that the repetition frequency and the amplitude of Trichel pulse current depend on the discharge conditions, but the rising time of the pulse relates only to the radius of needle or wire and keeps constant even if the other conditions (including the discharge current, the gas gap and the gas pressure) change. There exists the characterized spectrum of electromagnetic waves from negative corona discharge in Trichel pulse regime. These characterized radiations do not change their frequency at a given cathode geometry even if the averaged current, the gas gap or the air pressure changes, but the amplitude of radiations changes accordingly. The characterized electromagnetic radiations from Trichel pulse corona relate to the formation or the rising edge of current pulse. It confirms that the characterized radiations from Trichel pulse supply information of discharge system and provide a potential method for detecting charged targets.

<P>This paper presents a calculation method of residual magnetic flux density distribution for a four-pole anisotropic bonded NdFeB permanent magnet (PM) considering the effect of aligning magnetic field during the forming process. To manufacture the anisotropic bonded NdFeB magnet, the magnet powder needs to be aligned with a proper aligning field before magnetizing. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the magnetizing process based on the aligning field analysis to determine accurate distribution of residual magnetic flux density (Br) for the anisotropic bonded NdFeB PM. In order to estimate the Br distribution of the anisotropic bonded NdFeB magnet, an analysis method by combining the external electric circuit equation coupled with the transient finite element method and the scalar Jiles-Atherton hysteresis model is proposed.</P>

In the present study, a new strain, Bacillus cereus ZY12, producing phospholipase D (PLD) was identified. The expression of PLD in this strain was found to be induced by its substrate, phosphatidylcholine (PC), and completely silenced by other carbon sources, such as glucose, fructose, and maltose, which are generally used in microbial growth cultures, thus presenting a unique expression pattern different from other PLD-producing microorganisms. This study is the first to report on the ability of B. cereus to produce PLD, and successfully clone its PLD-coding gene and identify its function, extending the knowledge on PLD distribution and evolution in microorganisms.

Objective: To assess the effects of perioperative comprehensive supportive care interventions on outcome of Chinese esophageal cancer patients in a prospective study. Methods: 60 patients with primary esophageal carcinoma were randomized into an intervention group (IG, n=31) and a control group (CG, n=29). The Chinese version of symptom checklist-90 (SCL-90) was adopted to assess their psychological status. The interventions, including health education, psychological support, stress management, coping strategies and behavior training, were carried out in 3 phases (preoperative, postoperative I and postoperative II), and psychological effects were thereafter evaluated accordingly before surgery, and 1 week, 4 weeks and 24 weeks post-surgery. Medical costs were estimated at discharge. Survival of patients was estimated each year post-surgery. General health status and satisfaction-with-hospital were surveyed by a follow-up questionnaire 4 years post-surgery. Results: All the subjects demonstrated higher scores in the preoperative phase than the normal range of Chinese population concerning 7 psychological domains including somatization, obsessive-compulsive, depression, anxiety, hostility, phobic anxiety and paranoid ideation. Although no significant difference was observed between the two groups at admission, the scores of IG, which tended to decrease at a faster rate, were generally lower than those of CG at weeks 1, 4 and 24 post-surgery. The length of hospital stay and medical costs of IG were significantly less than those of CG and satisfaction-with-hospital was better. However, there was no significant difference in 4-year survival or health status between two groups. Conclusions: Appropriate perioperative comprehensive supportive care interventions help to improve the psychological state of Chinese patients with esophageal carcinoma, to reduce health care costs and to promote satisfaction of patients and their families with hospital.

Objective: To create genetically modified goat as a biopharming source of recombinant human lacotoferrin (hLF) with transcription activator-like effector nucleases. Methods: TALENs and targeting vector were transferred into cultured fibroblasts to insert hLF cDNA in the goat beta-lactoglobulin (BLG) locus with homology-directed repair. The gene targeted efficiency was checked using sequencing and TE7I assay. The bi-allelic gene targeted colonies were isolated and confirmed with polymerase chain reaction, and used as donor cells for somatic cell nuclear transfer (SCNT). Results: The targeted efficiency for BLG gene was approximately 10%. Among 12 Bi-allelic gene targeted colonies, five were used in first round SCNT and 4 recipients (23%) were confirmed pregnant at 30 d. In second round SCNT, 7 (53%), 4 (31%), and 3 (23%) recipients were confirmed to be pregnant by ultrasound on 30 d, 60 d, and 90 d. Conclusion: This finding signifies the combined use of TALENs and SCNT can generate bi-allelic knock-in fibroblasts that can be cloned in a fetus. Therefore, it might lay the foundation for transgenic hLF goat generation and possible use of their mammary gland as a bioreactor for large-scale production of recombinant hLF.
