This study was performed to reveal phenotypic characters and identity of symbiont bacteria of Nasutitermes as well as investigate their potential as antagonist of plant pathogenic fungi. Isolation of the symbiont bacteria was carried out from inside the heads and the bodies of soldier and worker termite which were collected from 3 locations of nests. Identification was performed using phenotypic test and sequence of 16S ribosomal DNA (16S rDNA). Antagonistic capability was investigated in the laboratory against 3 phytopathogenic fungi i.e., Phytophthora capsici, Ganoderma boninense, and Rigidoporus microporus. Totally, 39 bacterial isolates were obtained from inside the heads and the bodies of Nasutitermes. All the isolates showed capability to inhibit growth of P. capsici, however, 34 isolates showed capability to inhibit growth of G. boninense and 32 isolates showed capability to inhibit growth of R. microporus. Two bacterial strains (IK3.1P and 1B1.2P) which showed the highest percentage of inhibition were further identified based on their sequence of 16S rDNA. The result showed that 1K3.1P strain was placed in the group of type strain and reference strains of Lysinibacillus fusiformis meanwhile 1B1.2P strain was grouped within type strain and reference strains Paenibacillus alvei. The result of this study supply valuable information on the role of symbiont bacteria of Nasutitermes, which may support the development of the control method of the three above-mentioned phytopathogenic fungi.
Role of Magnetic Resonance Imaging in Differentiating Spondylitis from Vertebral Metastasis

Study Design: Observational analytic design with a cross-sectional approach. Purpose: To analyze the suitability of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in distinguishing radiology images with a corresponding delineation of spondylitis and vertebral metastasis confirmed by histology results. Overview of Literature: MRI is an accurate modality for assessing vertebrae and their disorders. Infections and metastasis are most commonly found in the vertebrae. It is difficult to differentiate between these two disorders both clinically and radiographically, particularly in atypical cases. Methods: McNemar statistical test was used to analyze the data. Samples were chosen using the consecutive method. There were 35 samples (14 males and 21 females), consisting of 22 samples of spondylitis and 13 samples of metastasis confirmed on histology examination. Results: Nineteen (86%) out of the 22 samples of histological spondylitis were diagnosed as having spondylitis on MRI, whereas all 13 samples of metastasis were 100% accurately diagnosed on MRI. Conclusions: There was no statistically significant difference between diagnostic radiology using MRI and histological diagnosis with a p =0.250 (p >0.05). In this respect, MRI was more precise in diagnosing metastasis. Typical MRI description of spondylitis was the involvement of anterior vertebrae and components of intervertebral discs, stiffening of discs, paravertebral abscess, and involvement of the vertebral segment sequence. Typical MRI delineation of metastasis was involvement of the anterior posterior vertebral component, paravertebral mass, and skip lesions.

The study of the local records in Wei, Jin, Sui and Tang dynasties is an important part of the literature study of the Wei, Jin, Sui and Tang dynasties. Through the collection of ancient catalogue and the reference of ancient classics, we found a lot of books with the same name but different content, and can supplement Du xinfu"s the Same Name of the Book of Different Books did not find 79 books.

In recent years, a new different usage pattern of “bei” construction(meaning passive sentence in Mandarin Chinese) has emerged from the Internet in China. It is widely used in written and spoken Chinese and has attracted people’s considerable attention in the areas of language retrieval, application and research. In that way, conventional teaching of traditional “bei” sentence can no longer meet the needs of text reading and daily language use in Modern Chinese under the new situation. Therefore, it is necessary to take the teaching of the new “bei” construction into consideration. In this paper, we suggest a step-by-step teaching method and explain how to teach the traditional “bei” sentence first and then the new one in a detailed way.
Chinese medical drugs for coronavirus disease 2019: a systematic review and meta-analysis
Wentai Pang,Zhi Liu,Nan Li,Yuyun Li,Fengwen Yang,Pang Bo,Xin-Yao Jin,Wenke Zheng,Junhua Zhang 한국한의학연구원 2020 Integrative Medicine Research Vol.9 No.3
Background: Integration of Chinese medical drugs (CMD) and western medicine (WM) has been widely used in the treatment of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). This systematic review aimed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of CMD for COVID-19. Method: A literature search was performed in six databases from injection to June 2020. Both randomized controlled trials (RCTs) and quasi-RCTs were considered as eligible. The quality of included RCTs were assessed by Cochrane Risk of Bias Tool, and Review Manager 5.3 software was used to do meta-analysis. Result: Eleven studies with 1259 patients were included in this study. CMD included herbal decoction and Chinese patent medicine. The methodological quality was evaluated as generally unclear. The results of meta-analysis showed that the integration of CMD and WM had better efficacy than WM in number of patients turned to severe and critical type (RR = 0.47, 95% CI=[0.32, 0.69], P < 0.0001), length of hospital stay (MD= -7.95, 95% CI=[-14.66, -1.24], P = 0.02), defervescence time (MD= -1.20, 95% CI=[-2.03, -0.38], P = 0.004), cough resolution rate (RR = 1.37, 95% CI=[1.15, 1.64], P = 0.0004), fatigue resolution rate (RR = 1.37, 95% CI=[1.02, 1.83], P = 0.04), and tachypnea resolution rate (RR = 2.20, 95% CI=[1.11, 4.39], P = 0.02). As for safety, there was no significant difference between two groups. Conclusion: CMD may bring potential benefit to patients suffered from COVID-19. However, the quality of included trials is not good enough. High quality study with core outcome set are still required.

In this paper, cheap mineral materials were used as the base materials of lightweight porous ceramics prepared through foamimpregnation method. The effect of the sintering temperature on the properties of the prepared porous ceramics was studied. The porous ceramic was mainly composed of amorphous silicon oxide, crystalline cordierite and mullite phases, and a smallamount of alumina phase. As the sintering temperature increased, the porosity of porous ceramics gradually decreased from94% to 92%, and the bulk density increased from 0.173 gcm-3 at 1100 ℃ to 0.194 gcm-3 at 1200 ℃. The best sinteringtemperature was 1180 ℃. The porosity of the porous ceramics sintered at 1180 ℃ was 92.14%, the volume weight was 0.189gcm-3, the shrinkage rate was 15.80%, the compressive strength was 0.79 MPa, and the thermal conductivity was 0.295 Wm-1k-1. The lightweight porous ceramic has high porosity, low density and good thermal insulation, as well as low cost, having greatpotential for application in fields such as thermal insulation, adsorption, and environmental protection.
