Effectiveness of a Warm-up Program with Dynamic Stretching in Preventing Sports Injuries
Yuta Sudo(Yuta Sudo ),Kazuki Kubo(Kazuki Kubo ),Toshihiko Shinohara(Toshihiko Shinohara ),Kazumasa Nakagawa(Kazumasa Nakagawa ) 사피엔시아 2022 Exercise Medicine Vol.6 No.-
Objectives: This study aimed to conduct a warm-up (W-up) program incorporating movement preparation (MP) and clarify its effect on sports injury prevention. Methods: The subjects of the study were 55 first- to third-year students (age: 15.9 ± 1.0 years, height: 168.5 ± 5.2 cm, weight: 57.4 ± 5.3 kg) belonging to a high school boys' soccer team. The first two months were the control period (CP), and the next two months were the intervention period (IP). The CP was a conventional W-up and the IP was a W-up with MP. The effects of each W-up were compared in terms of the incidence of sports injuries and disabilities during both periods and the incidence of sports injuries and disabilities by cause. Other measurements were compared for a total of seven items, including flexibility, balance, and performance. Results: During the IP, the incidence of sports injuries during practice and the incidence of non-contact sports injuries were reduced, whereas flexibility, balance, and performance improved. Conclusions: W-up incorporating MP showed improvement in flexibility and related balance, which may have led to the reduction of sports injuries.
Evaluation of Information Floating Considering Change of Mobility of Nodes
Yuta MIFUNE,Kazuyuki MIYAKITA,Keisuke NAKANO 대한전자공학회 2015 ITC-CSCC :International Technical Conference on Ci Vol.2015 No.6
In this paper, we consider Information Floating (IF), which is a virtual infrastructure for information distribution based on epidemic communication, which spreads information by movement of mobile nodes and direct exchange of the information between mobile nodes in a specific area. In the specific area of IF, information is as if floated, and a mobile node that enters the area can receive information from other nodes. In this paper, we consider to use IF to guide people to a commercial place. We evaluate performance of IF to attract customers by computer simulation. In performance evaluation, effects of the change of directions of mobile nodes after receiving the advertisement and location of target places are considered.
Fast Circuit Simulation Based on Parallel-Distributed LIM using Cloud Computing System
Yuta Inoue,Tadatoshi Sekine,Takahiro Hasegawa,Hideki Asai 대한전자공학회 2010 Journal of semiconductor technology and science Vol.10 No.1
This paper describes a fast circuit simulation technique using the latency insertion method (LIM) with a parallel and distributed leapfrog algorithm. The numerical simulation results on the PC cluster system that uses the cloud computing system are shown. As a result, it is confirmed that our method is very useful and practical.

This paper discusses risk analysis and supply chain coordination (SCC) for the optimal operation in a supply chain under e-commerce environment (e-SC) with the uncertainties in product demand and customer returns. An e-SC consists of a retailer and a manufacturer. The return handlings are discussed regarding customer returns and unsold products. A retailer receives customer returns from a market once and resells the resalable returns in the same market. A manufacturer buys back the unsold products and the un-resold customer returns from the retailer, considering the difference of quality between them. The mean-variance analysis (MVA) with three risk attitudes regarding the above uncertainties is discussed: risk-neutral attitude maximizing the decision maker’s expected profit in e-SC, risk-averse attitude with negative consideration of variance of the relevant profit, and risk-prone attitude with positive consideration of the variance. Using MVA, the optimal operations for product order quantity, the unit retail price and refund ratio of customer returns under the decentralized e-SC (DSC) and the integrated e-SC (ISC) are determined. The analysis numerically verified that each risk attitude on product demand and customer returns affected the optimal operations under DSC and ISC. SCC adjusting the unit wholesale price and buyback prices between members under ISC can shift to ISC.

Background: To reveal the level of recognition of regional and product certifications related to agriculture, an analysis of the official minutes of assemblies and the perceptions of tourists was conducted. This is one of the first attempts to combine analysis of residents and tourists at the product level (Geographical Indications, trademarks) and landscape level (registration under Food and Agricultural Organization [FAO] or United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization [UNESCO]-related certification systems). Methods: The research sites were Itoigawa and Sado, two municipalities in Niigata prefecture. The former is certified as a Global Geopark, and the latter as a National Geopark and Globally Important Agricultural Heritage System (GIAHS). The text-mining approach was conducted to analyze the official minutes of the municipal assemblies, and the questionnaire survey was conducted to identify the recognition of tourists on the certifications. Results: The results of the analysis of assemblies and tourists provide issues and possibilities of the certification systems. Tourists' recognition of the GIAHS and its weighting in the assemblies are relatively low. Residents and tourists have different expectations for regional certification. Residents expect education, while tourists expect tourism. Conclusion: It is necessary to evaluate the GIAHS's contribution to tourism and industry when municipalities and international organizations manage the GIAHS sites. Considering the gaps between residents and tourists and taking measures to resolve them can contribute to managing certificated areas by collaboration of stakeholders. Regarding products aimed at branding, consumers need to be informed about the GIAHS as a regional certification in addition to product certification to share the historical and environmental characteristics of agricultural products.
Tradition and Japanese vegetables: history, locality, geography, and discursive ambiguity
Yuta Uchiyama,Yoshinori Fujihira,Hikaru Matsuoka,Ryo Kohsaka 한국식품연구원 2017 Journal of Ethnic Foods Vol.4 No.3
Background: Traditional vegetables are produced and consumed throughout Japan. Individual vegetables, including Kyo vegetables and Kaga vegetables, are individually defined with their own criteria for history and quality standards and are registered in their respective regions. Several traditional vegetables are utilized as symbols of regional revitalization. For example, Kaga vegetables are tourist attractions, and Noto vegetables are promoted in the Noto region and were registered under the Globally Important Agricultural Heritage Systems (GIAHS). Methods: We will review the distribution, public standards, and definitions of dento-yasai, traditional Japanese vegetables. Quantitative analysis on the status of the branding of traditional vegetables will be conducted. Results: First, the ambiguity and distribution of traditional vegetables are demonstrated. Next, as a case study, the results of a quantitative analysis of Kaga vegetables and Noto vegetables are provided. Kaga vegetables have their own quality standards and definition, and producers have acknowledged the positive impact of the regional certification, GIAHS, on the amount sold. However, a social conflict has been caused by their standards and definition. On the other hand, Noto vegetables do not have a strict quality standard, and they were registered relatively recently. Because of their comparatively lax standard, producers could not acknowledge the positive impacts of GIAHS certification. Conclusion: Origins of traditional Japanese vegetables and relationships with their regions have innumerable ambiguous points. The results of the analysis of two types of traditional vegetables show that quality standards and definitions strongly influence branding and brand management.
