<P>An all‐solution‐processed flexible piezoelectric nanogenerator, composed of polycrystalline ZnO thin film and functional polymer layers such as P3HT/PCBM and PEDOT:PSS, generates energy through a mechanical rolling and muscle stretching system. On page 6022, Youn Sang Kim, Sang‐Woo Kim, and co‐workers show that this all‐solution‐processed nanogenerator is feasible as a piezoelectric patchable device and is promising for use in future energy harvesters such as wearable human patches and mobile electronics. </P>

장용학의 『요한 時集』 考察

While treating the gloomy reality of post-war as the background of his novel, Chang Yong-Hak tried to get out of the traditional frame of a narration. In his best work, 『Yo Han Si Gyp』, he destroys the structure of action that is usual in an epic, and instead he boldly substitutes fragments of a nation. An interesting point in this work is processing of the protagonist Nuhe's committing suicide as her last attempt for freedom. He is executed by the very freedom which he seeked for and longed for. Through the protagonist's fate, Chang Yong-Hak implements a writer's consciousness in the novel, and the process critically describes an individual's existence and meaning being destroyed by abstract and void language as illustrated through the thought, people, and ranks in the circumstances of the war. In this work, the criticism that the writer enthusiastically makes about the ideology of communism is that it is empty ; it does not realize the concreteness required for the world of a novel. The ideology does not access reality but is full of theories and notions.

Choi Seo-hae is a controversial novelist who attempts to convey the harshness of poverty in his writings. Choi's work is successful in depicting an accurate portrayal of the struggle's associated with being destitute, as he is able to incorpo\rate his first hand experiences and weave them throughout the book. To illustrate the sombre, cruel and difficult life of the poor, Choi wrote in an epistolary style, which helped amplify feeling and emotion. The main objective of his works, are to expose and express the hardships of poverty. The period in which Choi wrote, was characterized by the rise of socialism, and as the new ideology spread, it infilarated all spheres of society, in particular, the realm of literature. Being this, there was a lot dissension surrounding Choi's writings and his portrayal of the poor. Specifically, critics questioned the degree of realism Choi offered in his works. However, Choi was not a socialist at all. Rather, his purpose was to shape to hiswriting through real life, first hand experiences and then reiterate these experiences onto paper. He wanted to point out the harsh realities of poverty such as when a family abandoned one of their members, and as a result, that member was later killed because of their poor social condition. This then, resulted in a structural contradiction in society. There are two final points that should be reiterated when discussing Choi. First off, Choi failed to find and explain one of the most significant causes to poverty in Korea, that being the rise of Japanese imperialisn. Finally, when discussing Choi, we are at a loss because though Choi had an intense spirit while writing, after he stopped, his intense spirit dissipated.

Acetylcholonesterase 활성에 Methylxanthine 유도체들이 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

Acetylcholinesterases present in rabbit erythrocyte. rat and canine brain were employed in this study. The hydrolysing rate of acetylthiocholine was measured at 412 nm and also determined the same rate with xanthine­like compounds or xanthine derivatives. Their inhibitory activities of AChE­catalyzed reaction were determined by constructing a Dixon polt, which gives you inhibition constant(Ki) value. While xanthine­like compounds showed no inhibitory effect, methylxanthine derivatives (theophlline, theobromine, and caffeine)represented a somewhat moderate inhibition. Interestingly, inhibition type of these compounds for RBC and brain AChEs seems to be different. More experiments will be done to elucidate exactly how these compounds showed the inhibitory activity of brain AChE, to elucidate a possible role as the new therapeutic agents of xanthine derivatives for Alzheimer's disease.

Genetic algorithms(GAs) are suited for solving structural design problems, since they handle the design variables efficiently. This ability of GAs considers them as a good choice for optimization problems. Nevertheless, there are many situations that the conventional genetic algorithms do not perform particularly well, and so various methods of hybridization have been proposed. Thus, this paper develops a hybrid genetic algorithm(HGA) to incorporate a local convergence method and precision search method around optimum in the genetic algorithms. In case study, it is showed that HGA is able consistently to provide efficient, fine quality solutions and provide a significant capability for solving structural design problems.

분단시를 통해서 본 민족 동질성 회복 문제

It is evident that the gap between the literary works of the South and the North is widening. The literature of the North has been growing based on the principles of the communist party. the class system and the people. On the contrary, the literature of the South has been oriented towards artistically prejudiced the art-for-art in the diversifying liberalism. And the difference has made the heterogeneity existed between the literature of the two more conspicuous. It has been anknowledged that the so-called popular literature of the South, which has pursued free democracy and capitalism since the 1970 and the proletarian literature of the North, which has pursed realism, have been heading towards different directions with different objectives. However, there can be found a common similarity between the two in that both of them emphasize the national identity to overcome the psychlolgical barrier caused by the division of the Korean Peninsula.

한반도 남서부 해남-목포 일원의 백악기 산성화산암류의 암석화학적 연구

The cretaceous volcanic rocks are widely distributed in the Haenam-Mogpo area, southwestern part of Korean peninsula. According to the volcanic episode and geologic history, the volcanic rocks of the area could be divided into four groups in stratigraphy, such as the Hwawon formation (94.1±2.0 Ma), the Uhangri formation, the Hwangsan ash-flow tuff(82.8±1.2 Ma), the Jindo rhyolite and breccia(79.6±3.2 Ma, 79.4±1.7 Ma). The Hwawon formation mainly composed of andesite and volcaniclastic sediments, and the Uhangri formation composed of lacustrine black shale at lower part and in-tercalated rhyolitic tuff at the upper part. The Hwangsan ash-flow tuff and Jindo rhyolite are related to the main caldera - forming eruption and ring - fracture volcanism of the Haenam - Mogpo resurgent cauldron. The cretaceous acid volcanic rocks belong to the calc - alkaline rock series, and were a serial differantiational products by fractional crystal - lization of the calc - alkaline magma series.

Abstract-The pharmacological activities and pharmacokinetic aspects of a topical microemulsion (KDPM) containing 0.5% piroxicam were evaluated after its topical application compared with a commercially available 0.5% piroxicam gel (R gel). When the pharmacological activities were evaluated with the carrageenan-induced paw edema model, KDPM showed 55.6% edema inhibition, while R gel resulted in 37.1%. With the adjuvant-induced arthritis model, KDPM also resulted in the better pharmacological activities than R gel. The relative bioavailability of KDPM based on R gel was 176% in rabbits.

기계적 처리와 금속촉매 오존산화에 의한 슬러지 감량화

This research investigated the effect of mechanical pretreatment and ozone/catalytic oxidation on the reduction of sewage sludge. The pretreatment process was carried out to enhance sludge solubilization. The degree of solubilization was evaluated based on the DR. TS 1∼4% sludge was treated by ball mil using glass beads of 1 mm in diameter with the 50% (v/v) zircon bead loading. TS 4% showed 4 times higher solubilization efficiency than that of untreated sludge. The combination of the mechanical pretreatment and ozone/catalytic oxidation(10 mg Mn/g TS) showed higher efficiency than ozone/catalytic oxidation. At the 40% solubilization efficiency of sludge achieved by using ball mill, combination treatment showed 3 times higher than control. Ozone/catalytic oxidation improved the solid reduction effectively in the lower pH, presumably due to a high production of OH radical.
