The purpose lof this study was to identify relationship between elderly persons' body composition and physical abilities. Participants were 473 elderly persons more than 60 years old (246 males, 229 females) who lived in Seoul city during the period of the experiment. Height, weight, body fat, lean body mass, and total body water were measured for body composition. Two minutes working, 30 seconds chair stand and sit down, and arm curl (3kg for male, 2kg for female) were measured for physical ability using measuring equipments, a BIA Impedance, a stop watch, and dumbbells. The result indicated that elderly persons' physical abilities have negative relationship with fat mass and lean body mass has significant relationship with amount of total body water. Lean body mass, however had no relationship with physical abilities. Therefore, to improve elderly persons' physical abilities, to reduce their body fat mass, more aerobic excercise is suggested rather than weight lifting excercise.

The purpose of this study was to identify effects of resistant exercise on elderly females' secretion of estrogen and body composition after menopause. Eleven ladies more than 60 years old at regions of Seoul and Kyunggi were selected by stratified cluster random sampling for the study. Most of major muscle groups were trained with 12 weeks duration and 3 times per week frequency. The intensity was 70%RM with 10 repetitions for 3 sets. Hormone was tested at the first, 6th, and 12th week. Body composition was measured at the same time as the hormone test using the BIA Impedance and skinfold measurements. The result indicated that the resistant exercise improved secretion of estrogen. Although it was not statistically significant, plarticipants' fat mass and the percentage were reduced progressively and lean body mass was increased continuously as the exercise proceeded.
다중 보드 시스템 테스트를 위한 시스템테스트버스 제어기 설계 및 구현

The IEEE 1149.5 Standard MTM (Module Test and Maintenance) Bus standardized a serial, backplane bus for use in test, diagnosis, and maintenance of electronic subsystems and, modules. The salve module interface circuits for MTM bus protocol are implemented to test modules that have IEEE 1149.1 boundary-scan architecture. this interface has a boundary-scan interface and a demultiplexer for selecting boundary-scan chain. In this paper, the testable module is tested in chip functions and interconnects using the slave module interface. It contains boundary-scan path added 4 bits ALU and 8 bits register. A test procedure on it is proposed and simulated. The interface and the test procedure are verified by simulated result.

Web meta search engine has user interface consistents, but it has serious problem to concentrate network load on meta search engine server. In this paper, we have suggested client based web meta search engine architecture and implemented it to solve the problem and enhance performance of meta search engine. It substitute client based web meta search engine for the function of meta search engine. Thus, client based search engine solves network connection problem and reduces transfer time of query forms and search results.

This study was on the removal of silver ion containing photographic wastewater by BPBE cell. The experiments were performed at different voltage. electrolytic time and pH. When we inverstigated with silver removal efficiency, current efficiency and power efficiency at pH 4, 7, 9, thoese were indicatec most superior values in pH 9. And for the conditions of pH 9, l000mg-Ag/L, 3V, thoese were 93%. 40.4%, 0.54g-Ag/W .hr respectively.

This study investigates changes in cooling efficiency for heat sink plate width, perforated width, and chamfer angle as part of a parameter study to maximize cooling efficiency of heat sink by setting various variables on plates. The width of the plate is set to 16, 20, 24, 28 mm, perforated width 1.5, 2.0, 2.5 mm, chamfer angles 5, 10, 15 and 20°. By conducting a computational study with Ansys Fluent, the sink plate with plate width of 16mm, perforated width of 3mm and chamfer angle of 10° is shown to be the best cooling efficiency.
보안성향상과 네트워크 부하감소를 위한 Jini 기반 SNMP 시스템 설계 및 구현

Web-based SNMP and CORBA-based SNMP have been studied as a standard of network management technology in distributed environment. Jini can be used to build robust and reliable networks without modification to any platforms as network plug & play protocol. In this paper, we design and implement Jini-based SNMP system. This system has manager, agent, and lookup service, and communicates each other via Java RMI. The manager supervises networks by user interface component, the agent takes a various task of network management, and the lookup service links manager to agents dynamically. Security and portability are enhanced using JAVA, and communication overheads can be decreased by excluding pollings of servers.

Tricking filter was not usually employed for the piggey wastewater treatment resulting from a high concentration of susfended solids(SS) and biochemical oxygen demand(BOD) in the piggery wastewater could hamper and efficient operation due to the frequent clogging problems. In order to minimize the clogging problem, the filtration process using strawcolumn was applied, as a pretreatment process, for SS redution. The prefiltered effluent was then treated in the laboratory tricking filters which used crused stone media. The experimental results showed that the overall removal efficiencies of BOD, chemical oxygen demend, and SS were 78, 75, and 90%, repectively, at the respective tricking filter gydraulic and organic loadings of 1.26㎡/㎡/day and 0.77kgBOD/㎡/day. The tricking filter constant, and reaction rate constant, k of the Eckenfelder equation were 0.6901 and 0.89, respectively, obtained from the experimental data.
