해외 초·중등학교 한국어 교육과정 산출 범주의 특징과 구조
김유미 ( Kim¸ Yumi ),이숙진 ( Lee¸ Sookjin ),박동호 ( Pak¸ Dongho ) 한국언어문화교육학회 2021 언어와 문화 Vol.17 No.3
In order to promote the Korean language education, it is necessary to develop a Korean language curriculum that is suitable for the curriculum system of each overseas country and to consider the needs of overseas learners. High-quality Korean language education can be provided for abroad middle and secondary school learners when a systematic curriculum is established. In addition, customized curriculum and textbooks can be developed in line with the effective foreign language education policy. The purpose of this study is to show the features and structure of the production category that makes up a part of the Korean language curriculum for abroad middle and secondary school learners. In order to achieve this purpose, first of all, we will look at the Korean language curriculum for abroad middle and secondary schools. In the following, communicative language activities which are reception, production, interaction and mediation and their strategies will be generally introduced. Then, we will discuss a production category. More precisely, the definition and features of production and the structure and contents of production will be discussed in detail. Effects of Tendon Vibration During One-Legged and Two-Legged Stance in Elderly Individuals
Yu, Mi,Piao, Yong-Jun,Kim, Seong-Hyun,Kim, Dong-Wook,Kim, Nam-Gyun 한국정밀공학회 2010 International Journal of Precision Engineering and Vol.11 No.6
The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of vibration of the tibialis anterior and Achilles tendons during one-legged and two-legged stance in young and elderly individuals. Sway in the center of pressure (COP) and plantar pressure was observed in four vibration conditions, which included single vibration, combined vibration and non-vibration applied to the tibialis anterior and/or Achilles tendons of the supporting leg. For single vibration, whole-body tilts were directed backward and forward according to the location of the vibration. In combined vibration, very small amplitude body shifts were observed. Using combined vibration of the tibialis anterior and Achilles tendons, the decrease in the COP sway may improve the ability to balance during one-legged stance in elderly individuals. In particular, the decrease in COP sway may improve the ability to balance during one-legged stance by combined vibration in elderly subjects. These findings are important for the use of somatosensory information processing to regulate postural adjustments in the elderly.
Development of a Transition Process Scale for High-risk Infant’s Caregiver
Tehran University of Medical Sciences 2016 Iranian journal of public health Vol.45 No.2

Background:

Transition into parenthood is a major developmental life event and is very significant because development in infanthood is affected by the transition process of mothers parenting an infant. This study aimed to develop the assessment tool for transition process of high risk infant’s caregiver in Korea.

Methods:

The participants were 246 mothers of premature infant born with gestational age (< 37 weeks) or low birth weight (< 2500 gm), of less than 24 months of age. Preliminary items were derived from transition process scale for parent of children with autism. Factor analysis was performed to test construct validity of the scale, the correlation between transition processes and parenting efficacy was used for testing predictive validity.

Results:

The final scale was composed of 23 items divided into 5 factors: wandering (7 items), devotion (5 items), acceptance (4 items), denial (4 items), frustration (3 items). The total variance for validity described by the 5 factors was 60.8% and the reliability of the scale was total Cronbach’s α 0.90 and wandering 0.85, devotion 0.78, acceptance 0.72, denial 0.72, and frustration 0.71. Correlation between transition process and parenting efficacy was statistically significant; wandering(r=−0.61, P <.001), devotion (r=−0.60, P<.001), acceptance (r=0.30, P <.001), denial (r=−0.31, P <.001) and frustration (r= −0.27, P <.001).

Conclusion:

This final assessment scale will be used to investigate high-risk infant caregiver’s transition process and provide basic data for program development to provide differentiated support and care at each process.

Human Spatial Cognition Using Visual and Auditory Stimulation
Yu, Mi,Piao, Yong-Jun,Kim, Yong-Yook,Kwon, Tae-Kyu,Hong, Chul-Un,Kim, Nam-Gyun Korean Society for Precision Engineering 2006 International Journal of Precision Engineering and Vol.7 No.2
This paper deals with human spatial cognition using visual and auditory stimulation. More specially, this investigation is to observe the relationship between the head and the eye motor system for the localization of visual target direction in space and to try to describe what is the role of right-side versus left-side pinna. In the experiment of visual stimulation, nineteen red LEDs (Luminescent Diodes, Brightness: $210\;cd/^2$) arrayed in the horizontal plane of the surrounding panel are used. Here the LEDs are located 10 degrees apart from each other. Physiological parameters such as EOG (Electro-Oculography), head movement, and their synergic control are measured by BIOPAC system and 3SPACE FASTRAK. In the experiment of auditory stimulation, one side of the pinna function was distorted intentionally by inserting a short tube in the ear canal. The localization error caused by right and left side pinna distortion was investigated as well. Since a laser pointer showed much less error (0.5%) in localizing target position than FASTRAK (30%) that has been generally used, a laser pointer was used for the pointing task. It was found that harmonic components were not essential for auditory target localization. However, non-harmonic nearby frequency components was found to be more important in localizing the target direction of sound. We have found that the right pinna carries out one of the most important functions in localizing target direction and pure tone with only one frequency component is confusing to be localized. It was also found that the latency time is shorter in self moved tracking (SMT) than eye alone tracking (EAT) and eye hand tracking (EHT). These results can be used in further study on the characterization of human spatial cognition.
Korean EFL Learners` Perceptions and Uses of Count/Mass Nouns
( Yumi Ma ),( Yoon Ja Oh ) 21세기영어영문학회 2014 영어영문학21 Vol.27 No.4
This study explores Korean EFL learners’ perceptions of quantification and their grammatical sensitivity in the use of count/mass nouns. To investigate the perceptions of adult learners and young learners, it compared the perceptions of thirty children with those of thirty adults using a quantity judgment task. For the adult group, a grammaticality judgment task was additionally administered to investigate their actual use of count/mass nouns. The findings show that both the young and adult learners exhibit a consistent pattern in their perceptions of count/mass nouns giving support to the results obtained in studies which addressed the same topic with learners of different L1 and L2 backgrounds. In the grammaticality judgment task, the adult participants judged the grammaticality of count nouns and subject mass nouns appropriately. They showed a tendency to judge quantity based on numbers for the object mass nouns and the flexible nouns. These results imply that the adult participants’ use of count/mass nouns match their perceptions of count/mass distinction.
