도덕적 선과 미의 존재론적 유비 - 스코투스의 ‘통합적 적합성’(convenientia integra) 개념을 중심으로

본고의 목적은 둔스 스코투스 미 개념의 특징과 역사적 의미를 해명하는 것이다. 스코투스는 비례의 미학 전통을 계승하여, 언제나 미를 비례 또는 조화의 관계로서 규정하려는 태도를 취한다. 스코투스의 미 개념은 도덕적 선의 유비로서 등장하는바, 본질적 선이 아니라 우유적 선의 일종으로 간주될 수 있다. 어떤 행위가 마땅히 갖춰야 할 적합한 요소들을 갖추었을 때 그 행위에 진술되는 술어가 도덕적 선인 것처럼, 미는 어떤 물체가 마땅히 갖춰야 할 적합한 요소들을 갖추었을 때 그 물체에 진술되는 술어다. 즉, 미는 아름다운 물체 안의 절대적 성질이 아니라 그 물체에 마땅히 속해야 할 모든 것들의 총체, 곧 통합적 적합성을 가리킨다. 주목할만한 점은 이전 이론가들과 달리 스코투스가 이 총체 안에 색채를 포함시킨다는 것이다. 색채의 미는 전통적으로 빛이라는 원리로 환원되었으나, 스코투스는 주체에 대한 적합성이라는 새로운 원리를 도입하여 색채의 미를 설명한다. 이로써 스코투스의 통합적 적합성으로서의 미 개념은 빛의 미학 안으로 비례 미학의 지평이 확장되는 양상으로서 평가될 수 있다. Diese Arbeit beabsichtigt den Charakter und die Bedeutung des Schönheitsbegriffes des Duns Scotus im Horizont der Geschicht der Ästhetik genau zu erörtern. Scotus betrachtet die Schönheit zunächst als eine Relation, d.h. Proportion oder Harmonie, indem er die Tradition der sogenannten ‘proportionalen Ästhetik’ übernimmt. Er analysiert den Schönheitsbegriff in Analogie zum Begriff der moralischen Gutheit, und deshalb bestimmt er die Schönheit nicht als eine wesentliche, sondern als eine akzidentelle Gutheit. Schönheit gilt als ein Prädikat, das von einem Ding ausgesagt wird, wenn das Ding mit den ihm entsprechenden Elementen ausgestattet ist, wie eine solche Handlung als moralisch gut bezeichnet wird, welche die angemessenen Elementen defektlos in sich hat. Die Schönheit bedeutet daher im scotistischen Hinsicht keine absolute Qualität, sondern eine Zusammenkunft der angemessenen Elementen, d.h. die convenientia integra. Bemerkenswert ist, dass Scotus die Farbe zu einem dem Ding zu konvenierenden Element zählt. Während die früheren Denker wie Augustinus die Schönheit der Farbe auf das Prinzip des Lichtes zurückführen, führt Scotus ein neues Prinzip, d.i. eine Angemessenheit zu jeweiligen Subjekten ein, um die Schönheit der Farbe zu erklären. Damit kann man den scotistischen Schönheitsbegriff als convenientia integra für eine Verbreitung der proportionalen Ästhetik in den Bereich der Lichtsästhetik halten.

선우휘 소설에 나타난 언론 주체 연구

So far Seon-woo Hwi has been praised as the activistic humanist or criticized as the conservative anti-communist by critics. But the real work of his novels can"t be understood distinctly with regard to humanism or anti-communism, because many aspects of his novels are ironically mixed. Therefore in this article, I investigated into the novels which previous studies had not discussed much. First novel I examined was 『The Castle』 that the novel Seon-woo Hwi published for the first time, the novel has been wrongly reputed as the title of 『The Ghost』. The novel is a story of a ghost that watch and record his observation of the human world. And by the rule of the ghost world, he should be emotionaly neutral to human and record the human events rationally and objectively. In that respect, the ghost is an allegory of journalists that have to be politically neutral about recording realities. Second novel I observed was 『The Fort』. The novel distinguishes between the person who looks and the person who shows, that kind of divide is also a allegory of journalists and ideologists. The writer put emphasis on the person who looks which means journalist recording the truth of realities as objective observers. Third novel I would discuss is the 『Ho-jeop-mong』 and the title means "butterfly"s dream" from old fable of Chuang Tzu. The novel contains the criticism to a person that just closed his eyes whenever he confronted to the big tragic event of Korea like the Korean War of 4·19 revolution as if there were nothing happened. Three novels can be bind together when we recognize them as allegories of the subject as journalists. Korean media"s history has been a struggle with the government. The government tried to take control of the media, and the media sometimes confronted to it and sometimes complied to it. The important point of the three novels the writer wanted to tell through the allegories of "observer", "person who looks", "person who close his eyes" was that journalists in modern Korea suffered and anguished with the social reality that the media could not function as an genuine observer for the truth. In South Korea, there always was conflicts between government and the media, and Seon-woo Hwi"s novels in the midst of such a reality show the role and position of journalists as the genuine observers of the reality.

스코투스 의지이론의 변화를 어떻게 이해할 것인가?

스코투스는 옥스퍼드 강독집에서 의지와 지성이 의지운동의 공동 작용인이라고 주장했으나, 후기의 파리 보고록에서는 의지가 의지운동 전체를 일으키는 유일한 작용인이라고 가르쳤다. 이 논문의 목적은 이러한 이론 변화의 의미와 원인을 밝히는 것이다. 이를 위해 이 논문은, 헨리쿠스에 대한 스코투스의 비판 논변이 어떻게 변화하는지를 주로 검토한다. 대상을 필요원인으로 간주하는 헨리쿠스의 견해가 강독집에서 명시적으로 기각됨에 비해, 보고록에서는 헨리쿠스의 견해에서 귀결된다고 가정되었던 난점들에 대한 적극적 해결이 모색된다. 그러나 이러한 변화는 스코투스가 헨리쿠스와 동일한 극단적 주의주의의 노선으로 사고의 방향 전환을 했다는 의미는 아니다. 이러한 변화는 지성과의 연결에 의존하지 않고 의지를 그 자체로서 이성적 능력으로 파악하는 관점이 확립된 결과로 이해되어야 한다. It is well known that Scotus regarded the will as a total cause of the will’s motion in his Reportatio while he attributed the causality of the will’s motion to the will and the intellect in his Lectura. The goal of this paper is to clarify what this change from Lectura to Reportatio means and why it occurred. For this end, I will examine how Scotus’s attitude to Henry of Ghent’s theory on the will’s motion is modified. Whereas in Lectura, Scotus explicitly rejects Henry’s position according to which the object of the will is none other than causa sine qua non, in Reportatio Scotus seek to solve the difficulties which was supposed to be followed from Henry’s position. However, this does not imply that doctor subtilis changed his earlier moderate position to the radical voluntarism like Henry’s position. The change is to be rather understood as a result from his deepened thought on the rationality of the will in Paris according to which the will is rational in itself, not on account of the intellect’s involvement.

성 토마스의 후기 저작에 나타난 의지와 지성의 작용적 통일성과 의지의 자유

이 글의 목적은 토마스의 후기 저작에서 나타나는 의지와 지성의 상호작용의 구조를 밝힘으로써 토마스 후기 자유의지론의 역사적 위상을 규명하기 위한 단초를 마련하는 데에 있다. 완숙하고 종합적인 시각이 나타나는 자신의 후기 자유 논고들(『신학대전』 제2부 제1편 제9~10문, 『악론』 제6문)에서 토마스는 활동의 실행과 활동의 종별화라는 의지 활동의 이중적 구조에 대한 분석을 통해 어떻게 의지와 지성 간의 상호적 운동이 하나의 구체적인 원욕으로 통일될 수 있는지를 설명한다. 이러한 분석에 따라, 의지의 자유는 실행의 자유와 종별화의 자유라는 두 계기의 통합으로 이해되며, 구체적인 원욕으로서의 선택 활동은 형상-질료 결합의 모델에 따라 설명된다. 즉 선택은 형상적으로는 지성에 속하지만 질료적, 혹은 실체적으로는 의지에 속한다. 이러한 설명에 의하면, 의지 활동은 지성의 판단에 완전히 독립적이지는 않지만 그럼에도 자기 결정하는 운동으로 파악될 수 있다. 이것이 주의주의적 극단과 주지주의적 극단의 중간에 서 있는 토마스 자유 이론의 기본적 입장이다. A complete computerized system for the characterization and performance testing of photovoltaics(PV) modules under natural sunlight and ambient condition was designed. I-V characteristics of PV module provides on essential diagnostic means in assessing the performance and internal cell parameters of PV module depends on its basic materials, manufacturing technology and operating environmental conditions. I-V curves derived from PV modules refect to a large extent the physical properties and their expected performance. In this paper, Electrical performance measurement and evaluation methods for solar cell module by MOSFET variable Load were studied. Also, Mathematical model and theory of solar cell associated with the photovoltaic effect has been discribed.

배관내에서 자유수면 와동에 관한 연구

During mid­loop operation of nuclear power to prevent the residual heat removal system from failure due to air entrainment of free surface vortex in the piping system a set of simulating experiments was performed. Through these experiments, a relation between the non­dimensionalized numbers, such as submergence H/d. Froude number, Reynolds number, was found. However, the effect of the Reynolds number is not so dominant as that of the Froude number. It was also found that the boundary conditions of the free surface, that is, the perturbation of the free surface due to opening of closing pump and valves have significant effects on the free surface vortex. Futhermore a modified inlet device which reducer type with vortex breaker has strongly been recommended for the prevention of air entrainment.
