The purpose of this paper is to construct the curriculum system of career planning from the aspects of curriculum objectives, curriculum contents, teaching staff construction and curriculum evaluation under the guidance of ideological and political spirit.

      • Exploring Appropriate Moral Education Methods in Literary Education in We-media Age

        Purpose: Exploring appropriate moral education methods that adapt to the We-media age is an important task of literary education. In the context of We-media, literary education should aim at guiding the students to think over moral issues in specific situations on the basis of the aesthetic role of literature in order to promote their moral development. We-media have made communication convenient and efficient, and have created more diversified communication forms. Conclusion: Therefore, teachers should fully utilize the unique advantages of We-media in literary education to strengthen the communication and exchange between teachers and students and among the students themselves in the face of specific moral issues, and to cultivate the students’ ability to appropriately grasp moral phenomena and apply moral rules.

        The Impact of China’s Acid Rain and Sulfur Dioxide Control Zones Policy on Industrial Sulfur Dioxide Emissions: A Panel Analysis

        In order to control sulfur dioxide (SO_2) emissions, the Chinese government in 1998 implemented the Acid Rain and Sulfur Dioxide Emission Control Zones policy (known as the Two Control Zone or TCZ policy). In a panel analysis of the impact of the TCZ policy on China’s industrial SO_2 emissions, two-way fixed-effects models show that it did not significantly reduce either per capita SO_2 emissions or SO_2 intensity in China. The study also reveals that instead of the traditional inverted U-shaped Environmental Kuznets Curve, the relationship between income growth and sulfur pollution in China favors an N-shaped pattern. The empirical results indicate that the TCZ policy has not had a consistent, long-term impact on sulfur pollution control. This is in accord with previous studies and the actual situation in the two control zones. This paper presents two policy recommendations for improving the mitigation of SO_2 pollution in China.

        Local damage detection of a fan blade under ambient excitation by three-dimensional digital image correlation

        Damage detection based on dynamic characteristics of a structure is one of important roles in structural damage identification. It is difficult to detect local structural damage using traditional dynamic experimental methods due to a limited number of sensors used in an experiment. In this work, a non-contact test stand of fan blades is established, and a full-field noncontact test method, combined with three-dimensional digital image correlation, Bayesian operational modal analysis, and damage indices, is used to detect local damage of a fan blade under ambient excitation without use of baseline information before structural damage. The methodology is applied to detect invisible local damage on the fan blade. Such a method has a seemingly high potential as an alternative to detect local damage of blades with complex high-precision surfaces under extreme working conditions because it is a noncontact test method and can be used under ambient excitation without human participation.

        Protein molecular structure, degradation and availability of canola, rapeseed and soybean meals in dairy cattle diets

        Objective: The aims of this study were to reveal the magnitude of the differences in protein structures at a cellular level as well as protein utilization and availability among soybean meal (SBM), canola meal (CM), and rapeseed meal (RSM) as feedstocks in China. Methods: Experiments were designed to compare the three different types of feedstocks in terms of: i) protein chemical profiles; ii) protein fractions partitioned according to Cornell Net Carbohydrate and Protein System; iii) protein molecular structures and protein second structures; iv) special protein compounds-amino acid (AA); v) total digestible protein and energy values; vi) in situ rumen protein degradability and intestinal digestibility. The protein second structures were measured using FT/IR molecular spectroscopy technique. A summary chemical approach in National Research Council (NRC) model was applied to analyze truly digestible protein. Results: The results showed significant differences in both protein nutritional profiles and protein structure parameters in terms of α-helix, β-sheet spectral intensity and their ratio, and amide I, amide II spectral intensity and their ratio among SBM, CM, and RSM. SBM had higher crude protein (CP) and AA content than CM and RSM. For dry matter (DM), SBM, and CM had a higher DM content compared with RSM (p<0.05), whereas no statistical significance was found between SBM and CM (p = 0.28). Effective degradability of CP and DM did not demonstrate significant differences among the three groups (p>0.05). Intestinal digestibility of rumen undegradable protein measured by three-step in vitro method showed that there was significant difference (p = 0.05) among SBM, CM, and RSM, which SBM was the highest and RSM was the lowest with CM in between. NRC modeling results showed that digestible CP content in SBM was significantly higher than that of CM and RSM (p<0.05). Conclusion: This study suggested that SBM and CM contained similar protein value and availability for dairy cattle, while RSM had the lowest protein quality and utilization.

        Directional production of even carbon volatile fatty acids from peanut meal: effects of initial pH and hydraulic residence time

        In this study, peanut meal was used as the substrate for the continuous production of even carbon volatile fatty acids (ECFA) through anaerobic fermentation. First, a continuous stirred reactor (CSTR) was started by adjusting the initial pH to acclimate the related bacteria, and then the hydraulic residence time (HRT) was optimized. The effects of different initial pH and HRT on the potential of ECFA production by peanut meal fermentation, the transformation and utilization of main organic compounds, and the composition and replacement of microbial community structure behind it were investigated. The results showed that ECFA was the dominant factor in the acid production of peanut meal fermentation, and alkaline pH and HRT = 6 d were the more favorable operating conditions for the hydrolysis and acidification of peanut meal. The average concentration of total volatile fatty acids (TVFAs) obtained was 15,249.50 mg/L, and the content of ECFA varied from 88.51% to 96.27%, with an average ratio of 92.55%. This operation condition drove the formation of microbial community structure, mainly including Prepotella, Tepididimicrobium, Anaerosalibacter, and Igatzschineria, which were favorable for ECFA production, reflecting the potential of using peanut meal for targeted production of ECFA.

        Recyclable One-Step Extraction and Characterization of Intact Melanin from Alpaca Fibers

        Melanin, a ubiquitous natural pigment, has attracted much attention in energy and nanotechnology areas in recent years. With the increasing demand for high-quality melanin materials and sustainable experimental environment, this study was conducted to achieve melanin with intact structure through recyclable extraction method using ionic liquid (IL). Melanin extracted from base dissolution and acid isolation (BA) method and acid hydrolysis (AH) method were also used for comparison. SEM and 13C-NMR characterizations indicated that IL treatment has retained the original structure of melanin while other methods caused particle damage to various degrees. In addition, the recycled IL (up to five times) showed good reproducibility, and the performance of extracted melanin at the 5th cycle was well-maintained.

        Maximizing Information Transmission for Energy Harvesting Sensor Networks by an Uneven Clustering Protocol and Energy Management

        For an energy harvesting sensor network, when the network lifetime is not the only primary goal, maximizing the network performance under environmental energy harvesting becomes a more critical issue. However, clustering protocols that aim at providing maximum information throughput have not been thoroughly explored in Energy Harvesting Wireless Sensor Networks (EH-WSNs). In this paper, clustering protocols are studied for maximizing the data transmission in the whole network. Based on a long short-term memory (LSTM) energy predictor and node energy consumption and supplement models, an uneven clustering protocol is proposed where the cluster head selection and cluster size control are thoroughly designed for this purpose. Simulations and results verify that the proposed scheme can outperform some classic schemes by having more data packets received by the cluster heads (CHs) and the base station (BS) under these energy constraints. The outcomes of this paper also provide some insights for choosing clustering routing protocols in EH-WSNs, by exploiting the factors such as uneven clustering size, number of clusters, multiple CHs, multihop routing strategy, and energy supplementing period.

        Overexpression of miR-155-5p Inhibits the Proliferation and Migration of IL-13-Induced Human Bronchial Smooth Muscle Cells by Suppressing TGF-β-Activated Kinase 1/MAP3K7-Binding Protein 2

        Purpose: Molecular mechanisms leading to asthma is still ill-defined. Though the function of microRNAs (miRNAs) in asthma was previously reported, the involvement of miR-155 in important features of this disease remains unknown. The present study was designed to uncover the probable involvement of miR-155-5p in the proliferation and migration of IL-13-induced human bronchial smooth muscle cells (BSMCs) and the intrinsic regulatory mechanism. Methods: The effects of different concentrations of IL-13 on the proliferation and migration of BSMCs as well as the expression of miR-155-5p and its predicted target transforming growth factor (TGF)-β-activated kinase 1/MAP3K7-binding protein 2 (TAB2) were investigated. The effects of miR-155-5p on the proliferation and migration of interleukin (IL)-13-induced BSMCs was determined in vitro using BSMCs transfected with miR-155 mimic/inhibitor and induced by a high concentration of IL-13. The quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR) was employed for determining the expression of miR-155-5p and TAB2. Western blotting was applied to analyze the expression of TAB2 at the protein level. Cell proliferation and migration were assessed using the 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide (MTT) and Transwell assays, respectively. Results: The proliferation and migration of BSMCs were dose-dependently increased with IL-13 treatment. Contrariwise, IL-13 dose-dependently inhibited the expression of miR-155-5p in BSMCs. Mechanistic studies showed that inhibition of miR-155-5p further promoted the stimulatory effects of IL-13, whereas overexpression of miR-155 significantly inhibited these effects. In silico studies and luciferase reporter assays indicated that TAB2 was a negatively regulated miR-155-5p target. Conclusions: These results suggested that miR-155-5p-inhibit the IL-13-induced proliferation and migration of BSMCs by targeting TAB2 and that the IL-13/miR-155/TAB2 pathway could serve as a therapeutic target for pulmonary diseases, especially asthma.
