Research on Detection and Tracking of Player in Broadcast Sports Video
Yang Wang,Yueqiu Han,Deming Zhang 보안공학연구지원센터 2014 International Journal of Multimedia and Ubiquitous Vol.9 No.11
The paper presents a method which bases on support vector machine(SVM) and particle filtering for detecting and tracking player in the broadcast sports video. Firstly, through the combination of Support Vector Classification and CourtSegmentationmethod, it proposes the algorithm for examining automatically members in those videos, which is used to initialize the trace of subsequent visual objects; secondly, by combing support vector regression frame and the one of sequential Monte Carlo, it brings forth the improved particle filtering algorithm which is applied to follow visual objects, enabling the traditional particle filtering method to achieve robust trail of such targets even when the particle set is small, together with effective enhancement of the running efficiency of tracking system.

The design of urban residential buildings in cold region is different from that in low latitude region, or the design of general public buildings. The precise grasp of dwelling unit type and appearance style, effective control of building heating and thermal insulation efficiency and the implementation of the sustainable concept of low cost construction and environmental protection are dependent on the early scientific and rational design. And the building information model technology just acts as a platform for the optimization of the design. The study is based on the engineering projects; the planning, the design of building facade, collision detection optimization and the full participation of construction cost control in building information model provide a new train of thoughts and research reference for the residential design in cold region, in the context of the digital age, and to a certain extent, the study looks forward to the future urban residential design and construction industrialization prospect in the cold region . Building information modeling technology improves the design efficiency and quality with its precise data processing and analysis, avoids the defects in design and the material waste of construction and environment pollution, significantly enhancing the pre-processing level of construction structure parts, which is in line with the energy-saving environmental protection and rural environmental construction phil
Corrosion and Deformity Recognition for Current Coin
Hongwei Gao,Yueqiu Jiang,Yang Yu 보안공학연구지원센터 2016 International Journal of Signal Processing, Image Vol.9 No.6
Current coins often get damaged in the current environment, such as smudginess, discoloration, corrosion, mutilation and attrition. When the damage comes to a certain degree, the continuous use of coins will be impacted. In this paper, relevant identification technologies to mutilation and corrosion which are two common defects in circulation are investigated. At first, an auto identification and quantization algorithm about mutilation area of coin surface, based on Freeman boundary tracing is designed. On the basis of binarization, the algorithm accomplishes boundary tracing and extraction and area calculation automatically after the seed point is determined which is an arbitrary point in extracting mutilation area. Secondly, a clustering method based on HIS color model is developed for auto identification of corrosion area and calculation of corrosion area and average corrosion degree. At last, the validity and practicability of the algorithms are proved by a large number of experimental results.
Phylogenetic Analysis on the Bacteria Producing Non-Volatile Fungistatic Substances
ZhiFang Li,ChangSong Zou,YueQiu He,MingHe Mo,KeQin Zhang 한국미생물학회 2008 The journal of microbiology Vol.46 No.3
This study characterized the soil bacteria producing non-volatile fungistatic substances. Among the 2,100 colonies of soil bacteria randomly isolated from seven agricultural soil samples, 518 isolates (24.67% of total) showed fungistatic activity toward nematophagous fungi Paecilomyces lilacinus and Trichoderma viride by producing non-volatile substances. A phylogenetic analysis based on amplified ribosomal DNA restriction analysis (ARDRA) and 16S rDNA sequence placed the 518 bacteria in three groups of the domain Bacteria: Actinomycetales, Bacillales, and Gammaproteobacteria. Three genera, Arthrobacter, Bacillus, and Pseudomonas, were the most frequently encountered groups.
Field-flow fractionation: A gentle separation and characterization technique in biomedicine
Zhang, Xiaoyue,Li, Yueqiu,Shen, Shigang,Lee, Seungho,Dou, Haiyang Elsevier 2018 Trends in analytical chemistry Vol.108 No.-

Abstract

Field-flow fractionation (FFF), a gentle tool for separation and characterization of macromolecules and particles, has attracted increasing interest in recent years due to its broad dynamic size range and the utilization of an “open channel” void of packing materials or stationary phase. In this review, the theoretical principle of FFF separation (such as retention ratio and external force) is described. The FFF sub-techniques based on the type of the external force employed are presented. Sample physical properties directly measured by FFF sub-techniques are summarized. This paper will critically review the applications of FFF in the field of biomedicine, especially those reported in the last five years.

Research on Close Shot Segmentation in Sports Video
Yang Wang,Jingmeng Sun,Yifei Liu,Yueqiu Han 보안공학연구지원센터 2016 International Journal of Multimedia and Ubiquitous Vol.11 No.1
The basketball segmentation in close shots is studied. According to the consistency of basketball color, color segmentation is implemented. Then with the help of steerable filters, the method detects image edges and the orientations of them. Finally, based on edges and their orientations, Hough transform is improved to get the circle center and the radius of basketball.

Sometimes, people can be exposed to moderateor high doses of radiation accidentally or through the environment. Radiation can cause great harm to several systemswithin organisms, especially the hematopoietic system. Severaltypes of drugs protect the hematopoietic system againstradiation damage in diff erent ways. They can be classifi edas “synthetic drugs” and “natural compounds.” Their cellularmechanisms to protect organisms from radiation damageinclude free radical-scavenging, anti-oxidation, reducinggenotoxicity and apoptosis, and alleviating suppression ofthe bone marrow. These topics have been reviewed to providenew ideas for the development and research of drugsalleviating radiation-induced damage to the hematopoieticsystem.

Background: The effectiveness and safety of herbal medicine Huashibaidu granule (HSBD) in treating mild Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) patients infected with SARS-CoV-2 remain to be identified. We aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of HSBD in mild COVID-19 patients. Methods: A prospective, non-randomized, controlled study in mild COVID-19 patients was conducted in Shanghai, China, from April 8 to May 6, 2022. Finally, 360 mild COVID-19 patients received HSBD (orally 20 g twice daily for 7 days), and 368 patients received herbal medicine placebo (orally 20 g twice daily for 7 days). The primary endpoints were the negative conversion rate of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2) and the negative conversion time. Secondary endpoints included the hospitalized days and the improvement in the clinical condition. Results: The negative conversion rate of SARS-CoV-2 at 7 days posttreatment in the HSBD group was higher than that in the control group (95.28% vs. 82.61%, P < 0.001). The median negative conversion time in the HSBD group was markedly decreased by 2 days compared with the control group (3 [3–6] vs. 5 [4–7], P < 0.001). In addition, the median hospitalized day was shortened in the HSBD group by 1 day compared with the control group (6 [4–7] vs. 7 [5–9], P < 0.001). The clinical improvement rate (275/360 [76.39%]) in the HSBD group within 7 days was significantly higher than that (203/368 [55.16%]) in the control group (P < 0.001). The improvement of symptom scores in the HSBD group was higher than that in the control group (2 [1–4] vs. 1 [1–2], P < 0.001). No severe adverse events occurred. Conclusions: Our study suggested that HSBD effectively increased the negative conversion rate of SARS-CoV-2 and shortened the negative conversion time and hospitalized days in mild COVID-19 patients. Clinical trial registration: The trial was registered at Chinese Clinical Trial Registry, ChiCTR2200058668.
