      • A Seamless Constraint Model of Multi-Scale Representation of Geographical Information

Di Chen,Han Yue,Xinyan Zhu 보안공학연구지원센터 2015 International Journal of Security and Its Applicat Vol.9 No.8

At present, it has become a hot issue to provide a multi-representation mechanism and build multi-scale spatial databases in the field of GIS. Meanwhile, an inevitable problem is how to evaluate and preserve the consistency of multi-scale spatial data. In this paper, we introduce the concepts of homonymous points and homonymous entities based on innate characteristics of spatial data and put forward a seamless constraint model of multi-scale representation of geographic information that involves time, geometry, spatial relations and semantic characteristics. According to this model, a consistency assessment method has been implemented by computing similarities between vector data at three different scales. The main contributions of this paper are the proposal of a consistency constraint model and assessment system of multi-scale spatial data.

Facile Synthesis and Properties of Aqueous CdTe Quantum Dots for High-Sensitive Copper (II) Ion Detection

        Yue Zheng,Hengshan Tang,Xiaoyu Wang,Ya Di,Kunling Lu,Jidong Wang 성균관대학교(자연과학캠퍼스) 성균나노과학기술원 2017 NANO Vol.12 No.12

The synthesis of aqueous MPA-capped CdTe quantum dots (QDs) via a facile one-pot route was developed. The particle size, optical properties and crystal structure of the as-synthesis QDs were investigated by transmission electron microscopy (TEM), Fourier transform infrared (FTIR), UV-vis absorption and photoluminescence (PL) spectra, respectively. Meanwhile, the effect of reaction conditions, including reaction time, pH and the quantity of sodium citrate (SC) on the growth of CdTe QDs were discussed. Then, the obtained CdTe QDs were successfully used for the detection of trace Cu2+ with high sensitivity and excellent selectivity. The fluorescence intensity of CdTe QDs with Cu2+ concentration showed a linear relationship in the range from 1 x 10 -7 mol/L to 1 x 10 -6 mol/L. The correlation coefficient (R) is 0.9980 and limit of detection (LOD) is 1.0 x 10 -8 mol/L. Moreover, the concentration of Cu2+ in tap water samples was determined based on this sensing system and the recovery test was satisfactory.

Critical effects of long non-coding RNA on fibrosis diseases

        Yue Zhang,Gang Luo,Yi Zhang,Mengjie Zhang,Jian Zhou,Weiwu Gao,Xiuyun Xuan,Xia Yang,Di Yang,Zhiqiang Tian,Bing Ni,Jun Tang 생화학분자생물학회 2018 Experimental and molecular medicine Vol.50 No.-

The expression or dysfunction of long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) is closely related to various hereditary diseases, autoimmune diseases, metabolic diseases and tumors. LncRNAs were also recently recognized as functional regulators of fibrosis, which is a secondary process in many of these diseases and a primary pathology in fibrosis diseases. We review the latest findings on lncRNAs in fibrosis diseases of the liver, myocardium, kidney, lung and peritoneum. We also discuss the potential of diseaserelated lncRNAs as therapeutic targets for the clinical treatment of human fibrosis diseases.

What is the relationship between executive compensation incentive and earnings management in Listed Companies in China?

( Hu Di ),( Huang Wei Dong ),( Jin Shan Yue ) 한국외국어대학교 중국연구소 2021 中國硏究 Vol.89 No.-

This study investigates the impact of executive compensation incentive on earnings management in Chinese listed companies. From the perspectives of the principal-agent, asymmetric information, and incentive theories, this study examines Chinese A-share, main board-listed companies from 2015 to 2019 for the impact of executive compensation incentive on corporate earnings management, using a multiple linear regression method. The results show that executive monetary compensation has a negative effect on the level of accrual-based earnings management and real earnings management, indicating that executive monetary compensation has an incentive effect and reduces earnings management behavior. However, the executive shareholding ratio has a positive impact on accrual-based earnings management but no significant impact on real earnings management, indicating that equity incentives only affect accrual-based earnings management. The study’s findings enrich the related theories of executive compensation and earnings management and provide useful insights for investors and policymakers of listed companies.

      • Toward a Profitable Grid-Connected Hybrid Electrical Energy Storage System for Residential Use

        Zhu, Di,Yue, Siyu,Chang, Naehyuck,Pedram, Massoud IEEE 2016 IEEE transactions on computer-aided design of inte Vol.35 No.7

<P>Hybrid electrical energy storage (HEES) systems have the potential to result in considerable cost savings by reducing the electric bills of home users. This paper first presents grid-connected dual-bank HEES system design and management to maximize the electric bill savings for residential users, and subsequently provides a comprehensive sensitivity analysis of the economic feasibility of residential HEES systems. Specifically, the paper describes a daily management policy based on energy buffering strategy with one bank as the main storage bank and the other as the energy buffering bank, and then derive the global design of HEES specifications based on the daily management results. Simulation results prove the effectiveness of energy buffering strategy and show the proposed HEES system is capable of bringing in profits under current input variables. Finally, a detailed analysis is conducted to show how each input variable affects the final design of the proposed residential HEES system and the maximum annual profits it achieves. Together with the design and control mechanism, the proposed analysis provides potential customers with the comprehensive knowledge of how HEES systems can be deployed to achieve savings in their electric bills.</P>

      • Peptidoglycans Promotes Human Leukemic THP-1 Cell Apoptosis and Differentiation

        Wang, Di,Xiao, Pei-Ling,Duan, Hua-Xin,Zhou, Ming,Liu, Jin,Li, Wei,Luo, Ke-Lin,Chen, Jian-Jun,Hu, Jin-Yue Asian Pacific Journal of Cancer Prevention 2012 Asian Pacific journal of cancer prevention Vol.13 No.12

The innate immune system coordinates the inflammatory response to pathogens. To do so, its cells must discriminate self from non-self utilizing receptors that identify molecules synthesized exclusively by microbes. Toll-like receptors have a crucial role in the detection of microbial infection in mammals and insects. In mammals, they have evolved to recognize conserved products unique to microbial metabolism. These include lipopolysaccharide (LPS), lipotechoic acids, and peptidoglycans (PGN). We show here that TLRs, including TLR2, are expressed on the THP-1 human leukemia cell line. Activation of TLR2 signaling in THP-1 by PGN induces the synthesis of various soluble factors and proteins including interleukin-$1{\beta}$, interleukin-8 and TNF-${\alpha}$ and apoptosis of THP-1 with PGN dose and time dependence. Moreover, in this study we show that PGN induces apoptosis of THP-1 cells in a TNF-${\alpha}$-dependent manner. These findings indicate that TLR2 signaling results in a cascade leading to tumor apoptosis and differentiation, which may suggest new clinical prospects using TLR2 agonists as cytotoxic agents in certain cancers.

Modeling and Neuro-Fuzzy Adaptive Attitude Control for Eight-Rotor MAV

        Xiangjian Chen,Di Li,Yue Bai,Zhijun Xu 제어·로봇·시스템학회 2011 International Journal of Control, Automation, and Vol.9 No.6

This paper focuses on modeling and intelligent control of the new Eight-Rotor MAV which is used to solve the problem of low coefficient proportion between lift and gravity for Quadrotor MAV. The dynamical and kinematical modeling for the Eight-Rotor MAV was developed which has never been proposed before. Based on the achieved dynamic modeling, two types of controller were presented. One type, a PID controller is derived in a conventional way with simplified dynamics and turns out to be quite sensitive to sensor noise as well as external perturbation. The second type controller is the Neuro-Fuzzy adaptive controller which is composed of two type-II fuzzy neural networks (T-IIFNNs) and one PD controller: The PD controller is adopted to control the attitude, one of the T-IIFNNs is designed to learn the inverse model of Eight-Rotor MAV on-line, the other one is the copy of the former one to compensate for model errors and external disturbances, both structure and parameters of T-IIFNNs are tuned on-line at the same time, and then the stability of the Eight-Rotor MAV closed-loop control system is proved using Lyapunov stability theory. Finally, the validity of the proposed control method has been verified through real-time experiments. The experimental results show that the performance of Neuro-Fuzzy adaptive controller performs very well under sensor noise and external disturbances, and has more superiority than traditional PID controller.

Gibberellin and auxin signals control scape cell elongation and proliferation in Agapanthus praecox ssp. Orientalis

        Jian-hua Yue,Di Zhang,Li Ren,Xiao-hui Shen 한국식물학회 2016 Journal of Plant Biology Vol.59 No.4

Plant height is determined by the processes of cell proliferation and elongation. Plant hormones play key roles in a species-dependent manner in these processes. We used paclobutrazol (PAC) at 400 mg·L-1 in this study to spray Agapanthus praecox ssp. orientalis plants in order to induce dwarf scape (inflorescence stem). Morphological examination showed that PAC reduced scape height by inhibiting the cell elongation by 54.56% and reducing cell proliferation by 10.45% compared to the control. Quantification and immunolocalization of endogenous gibberellins (GAs) and indole-3-acetic acid (IAA) showed that the GA1, GA3, and GA4 levels and the IAA gradient were reduced. Among these hormones, GA4 was the key component of GAs, which decreased 59.51-92.01% compared to the control in scape. The expression of cell wall synthesis related genes cellulose synthase (CESA) and UDP-glucuronic acid decarboxylase (UXS) were upregulated significantly, whereas cell wall loosening gene xyloglucan endotransglucosylase 2 (XET2) was downregulated by 99.99% surprisingly. Correlation analysis suggested GA regulated cell elongation and auxin modulated cell proliferation in Agapanthus scape. Additionally, the accumulation of sugars played roles in cell wall synthesis and cell expansion. These results indicated GA and IAA signals triggered a downstream signaling cascade, controlled cell expansion and proliferation during scape elongation.

      • Gene Polymorphisms of OPRM1 A118G and ABCB1 C3435T May Influence Opioid Requirements in Chinese Patients with Cancer Pain

Gong, Xiao-Di,Wang, Jiong-Yi,Liu, Feng,Yuan, Hai-Hua,Zhang, Wen-Ying,Guo, Yue-Hui,Jiang, Bin Asian Pacific Journal of Cancer Prevention 2013 Asian Pacific journal of cancer prevention Vol.14 No.5

Backgrounds: Polymorphisms of OPRM1 A118G and ABCB1 C3435T have been suggested to contribute to inter-individual variability regarding pain sensitivity, opioid usage, tolerance and dependence and incidence of adverse effects in patients with chronic pain. This study aimed to investigate the association of both two polymorphisms with opioid requirements in Chinese patients with cancer pain. Methods: The genotypes of rs1799971 (OPRM1) and rs1045642 (ABCB1) were determined by PCR-RFLP and direct sequencing methods respectively in 112 patients with cancer-related pain. Comparisons between the different genotype or allele groups were performed with t-tests or one-way ANOVA tests, as appropriate. The potential relationship of allele number with opioid response was performed with a trend Jonckheere-Terpstra test. Results: In the 112 subjects, the frequencies of variant 118 G and 3435T allele were 38.4% and 37.9%, respectively. Significant higher 24h-opioid doses were observed in patients with GG (P=0.0004) and AG + GG (P=0.005) genotypes than the AA carriers. The dominant mutant 118G allele tended to be associated with progressively increasing 24h-opioiddoses (P=0.001). Compared with CC/CT, patients with ABCB1 TT genotype received higher 24h- and weight-surface area-adjusted-24h- opioids doses (P=0.057 and 0.028, respectively). Conclusions: The OPRM1 A118G single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) is a key contributor for the inter-individual variability in opioidrequirements in Chinese cancer pain patients. This may possibly extend to the ABCB1 C3435T SNP.
