        야뇨증 환아들의 심리사회적 특성에 대한 다기관 연구 : 행동 및 정서 문제를 중심으로

        Objectives : The aim of this study was to examine the behavioral and emotional problems associated with nocturnal enuresis in Korean children. Methods : Three hundred eighteen children with nocturnal enuresis, together with their parents, completed the Child Behavior Checklist (CBCL), Disruptive Behavior Disorder Scale according to DSM-IV (DBDS), Children's Depression Inventory (CDI), State-Trait Anxiety Inventory for Children (STAIC), and Piers-Harris Children's Self-Concept Scale (PHCSC). Ninety-three normal students were selected as the control group. Results : Compared to the normal control group, the mean scores with regard to the withdrawn, social problems, attention problems, delinquent behavior, aggressive behavior, externalizing problems and total problems profiles were significantly higher in the nocturnal enuresis group according to the CBCL results. The nocturnal enuresis group also scored significantly higher in the ADHD and ODD profiles of the DBDS. The nocturnal enuresis group was more depressed and anxious than the control group according to the results of the CDI and STAI. The mean score of the PHCSC was significantly lower in the nocturnal enuresis group when compared to the normal control group. Conclusion : The results of this study suggest that children with nocturnal enuresis in Korea have clinically relevant behavioral and emotional problems. The findings support the link between nocturnal enuresis and psychopathology in Korean children.

      • 3-D 동작 분석 장치를 이용한 한국성인(20대, 30대)의 동작 범위에 관한 연구

        Devices, such as a goniometer, have been used to measure a human being's active range of motion, but interferences between subjects and testers have affected the result precision. In this study, 56 dynamic motion ranges were measured using a 3-D motion analysis system which is quite accurate (2mm error for 1m). The 3-D motion analysis system consists of VICON 140, data acquisition system, and data analysis program (KRISSMAS). 80 Korean subjects (40 males, 28±6.1 aged and 40 females, 28.4±6.9 aged) participated. Subjects were divided into 4 groups by Ro¨hrer's index based on National Anthropometric Survey of Korea 1997. Basic statistical analysis were performed using SPSS (ver. 8.0) programs after refining data. Various comparisons were performed for the right and left side, male and female, age groups (20's, 30's. and 40's-60's) using previous studies. The results show that female subjects have more flexible joints in the neck, hip, ankle, and wrist, while male subjects have more flexibility in their waist. But most of the significances were not high (>0.05). The prediction that the right side of Korean bodies would be mort flexible was not a good hypothesis. And the joints flexibilities are not correlated with Ro¨hrer's Index.

      • 유기질 폐기물의 분해촉진 방안을 통한 매립지의 조기 안정화에 관한 연구

        In this study, the stabilization process of solid wastes was investigated related to bio-gas production, using lysimeters filled with municipal wastes contained a high percentage of organic refuse. The lysimeters were operated four types; continual through-flushing with water, leachate recirculation, leachate recirculation with pH control, and in-situ condition. Also each type was consisted of three lysimeters and operated with detention time 3 days, 6 days, 12 days, respectively. As the results, inorganic material, ??, was decreased by physical dilution and organic materials such as COD, VS were decreased by biological activity as well as dilution. The ratio of VS to TS was decreased proportionately in the course of time. Leachate recirculation was shortening the period of stabilization by accelerating bio-degradation of organic wastes. And the reactors operated leachate recirculation with pH control accelerated the rate of gas production.

        The purpose of the present study was to investigate the participation patterns of middle aged subjects, and to make suggestions for the promotion of the sport-for-all movement in Korea. The results of a questionnaire answered by 2125 middle aged male and female subjects were compared between sexes, age groups and educational back-ground using SAS computer program. The conclusions of this study were as follow: 1. Most subjects answered that they had very limited leisure time during week days and week ends. 2. It was shown that most middle aged subjects preferred to rest instead of participate in sport activities during their leisure time. 3. The intensity and frequency of sport activity were too low to improve cardio-vascular endurance. 4. To improved the availability of sport facilities, better management was recommanded.

      • 플라타너스(Platanus orientalis L.)의 계절별 Betulinic acid 함량 및 생리활성

        최근 폐암, 난소암, 흑색종 등 각종 악성종양 및 후천성면역결핍증(AIDS) 에 대하여 우수한 치료효과를 가지고 있다는 연구결과가 빈번하게 발표되고 있는 triterpene화합물 betulinic acid를 계절별로 플라타너스를 채취하고 MeOH 추출물로부터 분리하였다. 순수하게 정제된 betulinic acid의 함량을 비교하였고, 생물학적 활성을 검정하였다. A lupane type triterpenoid, betulinic acid has been known to have lung cancer, ovarian cancer, human melanoma and other tumor growth inhibitory activities and also anti-HIV activity. In this research, we collected P. orientalis in every seasons and observed seasonal changes of betulinic acid in the species. Cytotoxic activity of betulinic acid is also shown in this report.

        낙동강 상수원수의 오존처리 효과 : II. 회분식 오존처리에 의한 휘발성유기화합물 및 조류제거 효과 II. Removal of VOCs and Algae in Raw Water by Conducting Batch Test of Ozonation Experiments

        This study was carried out to evaluate the pollutant removal efficiencies of the advanced drinking water treatment using ozonation process. For raw water, Nakdong River was used. By conducting batch test of ozonation efficiencies of the ozonation were 94 to 92%, respectively. Removal efficiencies of single VOC compound or mixed VOC compounds in the raw water were 80% to 90% by the ozonation with 2 mg/ℓ dosage and 10 minutes contact time. Removal efficiencies of ABS by the ozonation with 1 mg/ℓ, 3 mg/ℓ dosage and 20 minutes contact time were 83% to 96%, respectively. Almost 67% of chlorophyll-a at the concentration of 38.㎍/ℓ was removed by ozonation at ozone dosage of 1mg/ℓ for 20 min. considering the efficiency of ozone utilization and water treatment, the most effective ozonation could be obtained with high ozone dosage and short and short contact time.

      • Lithium 투여가 흰쥐의 신장에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

        Lithium, an element ion, has been used in the psychiatric field to manic illness but in brings nephritis, diabetes insipidus and nephrotic syndrome. Most of the studies on the nephrotoxicity were described only in the morphological aspects, and functional study was unclarified. This study was carried out to observe lithium nephrotoxicity in both functional and morphological aspects. The lithium carbonate was administered to rat peritoneum(50mg/Kg) daily for 10, 20, 30 and 40 days. The urinw pH and proteinuria were measured and the kindney tissue was observed with light and electron microscopy. The results are as follow : 1. The urine pH was 5.5-7.0(normal 7.5-8.5) in the groups of lithium administration longer than 10 days. 2. The albuminuria (+) was observed in the groups of lithium administration longer than 10 days, but the severity of proteinuria was not related to duration of administration. 3. The proximal convoluted tubules and collecting ducts were dilated with epithelial cell degeneration in the experimental group of lithium administration for longer than 10 days. 4. The AgNORs in the tubular epithelial cells were markedly increased in number but those in the mesangium showed only slight increase in the experimental group of lithium administration for longer than 10 days. 5. The glomerular basement membrances were focally thickened and the epithelial foot processes were fused in the experimental group of lithium administration for longer than 10 days. The above results indicate that lithium thought to be toxic to the kidney causing not only functional but also morphological derangement. The renal functions of the patients under lithium regimen should be carefully mornitored to avoid nephrotoxicity, and further studies would be necessory to elucidate the precise mechanisms of lithium nephrotoxicity.

        흰쥐 침샘의 Nitric Oxide Synthase에 관한 면역전자현미경적 연구

        산화질소는 생물체내에서 생리적이나 병리학적으로 중요한 역할을 한다고 알려져 있으며, 특히 침샘조직에서 침분비작용과 샘혈류 조절에 중요한 인자의 하나로 관여함이 알려져 있다. 산화질소합성효소 (nitric oxide synthase, NOS)는 동위효소로서 내피산화질소합성효소 (endothelial NOS, eNOS), 신경산화질소합성 효소 (neuronal NOS, nNOS)와 유도산화질소합성효소 (inducible NOS, iNOS)가 있으며, 세포내에서 내인성산화질소를 합성한다고 알려져 있다. 그러나 산화질소합성효소의 세포내 분포에 관한 전자현미경적 연구는 매우 드물며, 흰쥐 침샘에서의 산화질소생산효소(NOS)에 대한 전자현미경적 연구는 없었다. 흰쥐 침샘에서 NOS의 세포내 분포를 규명하기 위하여 면역전자현미경방법을 이용한 금입자표지법을 시행하여 아래와 같은 결과를 얻었다. eNOS에 양성 면역반응을 보이는 구조는 침샘의 분비세포 중장액세포에 있는 전자밀도가 높은 분비과립이었으며, 점액분비세포의 점액분비과립에서는 비교적 약한 면역반응성이 관찰되었다. 즉 턱밑샘과 혀밑샘을 구성하고 있는 두 종류의 분비세포 중장액세포의 분비과립에 금입자가 비교적 많이 표지되었으며, 점액세포의 분비과립에서는 적은 수의 금입자가 관찰되었고, 침샘의 소엽속관(intralobular duct)의 전자밀도가 높은 분비과립에서도 금입자가 표지된 것이 관찰되었다. 귀밑샘에서도 장액세포의 분비과립과 소엽속관의 분비과립에 금입자가 표지되었다. nNOS의 양성 면역반응은 턱밑샘에서 점액세포의 분비과립에서만 약간의 금입자가 관찰되었으며, 턱밑샘, 혀밑샘 및 귀밑샘의 분비세포와 분비관세포에서는 iNOS에 대한 양성 면역반응이 관찰되지 않았다. 흰쥐 침샘에서 산화질소합성효소 중 eNOS는 침샘분비세포의 분비과립에 존재하며, 특히 전자밀도가 높은 장액성분비과립에 주로 분포하고 있으며, 분비관 중에서 소엽속관에도 분포하고 있는 것이 관찰되었으나, 다른 동위효소인 nNOS와 iNOS는 거의 관찰되지 않았다. 산화질소합성효소가 흰쥐 침샘분비세포의 분비과립과 소엽속관의 분비과립에 분포하고 있는 것으로 보아 침샘에서 산화질소가 침의 생산과 분비에 중요한 역할을 담당하는 것으로 생각된다. Endogenous nitric oxide (NO) has been known to regulate many physiological and pathological processes, especially the glandular secretion and blood flow. However, nitric oxide synthase (NOS) responsible for NO synthesis has not been well studied ultrastructurally in rat salivary gland. The present study was performed to investigate the distribution of nitric oxide synthase isoforms (endothelial, neuronal, and inducible NOS). Immunoelectron microscopic study, using monoclonal mouse anti-endothelial NOS, anti-neuronal NOS, and anti-inducible NOS, was performed in the salivary gland of rat. Endothelial NOS (eNOS)-positive immunoreactivities were most prominent in the secretory granules of serous cells of the salivary gland of the rat. Immunoreactivities were well concentrated on serous secretory granules in the serous cells. However, weak eNOS-positive immunoreactivity was observed in the mucous secretory granules of the mucous cells. Positive endothelial NOS (eNOS) immunoreactivities were most prominent in the secretory granules of intralobular ducts. Ductal secretory granules and acinar serous secretory granules have a similar pattern of labeling as eNOS suggestings. Neural NOS (nNOS)-positive immunoreactivity was not detected in duct systems or in acinar cells. Inducible NOS (iNOS)-positive immunoreactivity was not seen in acinar and ductal cells. These results reveal the presence of eNOS in the salivary gland of the rat, which may be related with regulation of the glandular secretion and blood flow through the gland.

      • 온주밀감 과원 토양에서 질소에 대한 시비방법과 시비수준에 따른 회수율

        In order to evaluate nitrogen (N) balance, from the different application method and levels of 15N applied to a satsuma mandarin orchard soil in spring, we surface-applied N as urea at a rate of 50 (water-dissolved), 100( solid and water-dissolved) and l50% (solid) of the recommended rate (180 kg ha-1) in spring ( labeled N), summer (nonlabeled N) with application ratio of 5:2:3. Fruit yield and qua1ity were not significantly affected by any treatment. Nitrogen contents of spring flush leaves in late August were 3.0% regardless of the treatments. The N recover by parts of tree itself was in the order of leaves, fruits, roots, stems, and the highest recovery per tree was 22.3% in the 50% recommended water-dissolved surface broadcast while there were not much differences for N recovery (11.9 to 13.6%) among the other three treatments. Total N content in top 30cm of lolls was 0.47% regardless of the treatments, but N proportion and total residual N from the fertilizer applied increased with increasing N rate while the N recovery in soils decreased. For the recommended N rate, N proportion and the residual N from the fertilizer applied were greater in the water-dissolved surface broadcast than those in soils surface broadcast. The highest total(tree + soils) N recovery was 70.9% in the 50% recommended water-dissolved surface broadcast, but tended to decrease to 52.2, 46.6, and 43.2% for the recommended water- dissolved surface broadcast, 100 and l50% of the recommended solid surface broadcast, respectively
