Collected Papers on Christian Language Culture, This essay is aimed at pursuing the fusion of horizon through a cross-cultural dialogue in order that Christian faith in and thought about God and God's relation to the world may be deepened and expanded on the horizon of the universal world in this contemporary global age. For this cross-cultural communication and fusion of horizon, it will be presented that Whitehead's process philosophy and Korean 'Han' thought provide excellent mediation concepts and insights for the cross-cultural dialogue, by which a vision for the new communication of the meaning of our universal God-relationality will be investigated and stimulated.         Genetic associations of body composition, flexibility and injury risk with ACE, ACTN3and COL5A1polymorphisms in Korean ballerinas

Genetic associations of body composition, flexibilityand injury risk with ACE, ACTN3and COL5A1polymorphisms in Korean ballerinas. JENB., Vol. 18, No. 2, pp.205-214, 2014[Purpose] The purpose of this study was to exam the association of body composition, flexibility, and injury risk to genetic polymorphismsincluding ACEID, ACTN3RX, and COL5A1polymorphisms in ballet dancers in Korea. [Methods]For the purpose of this study,elite ballerinas (n = 97) and normal female adults (n = 203) aged 18 to 39 were recruited and these participants were tested forbody weight, height, body fat, fat free mass, flexibility, injury risks on the joints and gene polymorphisms (ACE, ACTN3, COL5A1polymorphism). [Results]As results, the ACEDD genotype in ballerinas was associated with higher body fat and percentageof body fat than the ACEII and ID genotypes (p< 0.05). In the study on the ACTN3polymorphism and ballerinas, the XXgenotype in ballerinas had lower body weight and lower fat-free mass than the RR and RX genotype (p < 0.005). Also, the meansof sit and reach test for flexibility was lower in the ACTN3XX genotype of ballerinas than the RR and RX genotype of ballerinas(p< 0.05). Among the sports injuries, the ankle injury of the XX-genotyped ballerinas was in significantly more prevalence thanthe RR and XX-genotyped ballerinas (p< 0.05). According to the odd ratio analysis, XX-genotyped ballerinas have the injuryrisk on the ankle about 4.7 (95% CI: 1.6~13.4, p< 0.05) times more than the RR and RX-genotyped ballerinas. Meanwhile, theCOL5A1polymorphism in ballerinas has no association with any factors including flexibility and injury risks. [Conclusion]Inconclusion, ACEpolymorphism and ACTN3polymorphism were associated with ballerinas` performance capacity; COL5A1wasnot associated with any factors of performance of Ballerinas. The results suggested that the ACEDD genotype is associated withhigh body fat, the ACTN3XX genotype is associated with low fat-free mass, low flexibility, and higher risk of ankle-joint injury.         Population of Busan has decreased since early 1980s. At this time, manufacturing industries located in Busan have moves out seriously. As a result, Busan economy has been stagnated. At a standpoint of Busan, it is understood that moving out of manufacturing industries is given rise to population decrease and economic stagnation. Therefore this paper has aimed at in selecting industries which are great inductive effect of employment among manufacturing industries for Busan's economic vitalization. Accordingly, eleven industries including Manufacture of Basic Metal, Manufacture of Other Transport Equipment, Manufacture of Fabricated Metal Products, (except Machinery and Furniture) have been selected.

        This study aims at an influence of industrial characteristics of on urban hierarchy in Korea by the year 1981, 1991, and 2000. For the research process, this paper has depended on discriminant analysis with analizing variables of competition and spesialization. Urban the above analizing, this paper has got some results that retail, manufactureing and business sectors has negatively influenced change of urban hierarchies in Korea of 1981, 1991 and 2000 respectively. On the other hand, personal service, forestry, agriculture sectors has positively influenced change of urban hierarchies in Korea of 1981, 1991 and 2000 respectively.

        우리 人體는 비행하는 것에 적합하도록 만들어져 있지는 않으며 과거에는 비행교육이 단순한 비행조작을 가르치는 일종의 기술교육으로 인식되어 왔으나 現在는 理論的인 기반과 해양훈련과 같은 특수훈련이 비행훈련 효과를 增大시키는데 必要한 要素임이 인정되고 있다. 비행훈련시 신체적인 구조에서 학생 조종사에게 영향을 줄 수 있는 要素들을 살펴 보면 인간의 심적 신체적 감각으로 실시할 수 있는 주의력 분배, 비행훈련 자세, 안정된 감각, 기타 주위의 경계 등 여러 가지를 들 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 해양훈련과 같은 특수훈련이 비행훈련을 實施하는 학생 조종사에게 어떻게 위의 要素들을 充足시키며 영향을 주고 비행교육 효율을 증가 시킬 수 있는지를 검토하고 연구할 것이다. Our body is not designed for flight, and in the past, flight instruction was emphased to the student's proficiency simply in the performance of practiced flight maneuvers. Also it is now recognized that the efficiency of the flight instruction must be base on the physical problems just as the sea training. One of the most important factors which affect to a student's perceptions is the mental and his physical organism such as division of attention, attitude, sense of physiological safety and the alertness. The following study plan was made out for the physical factors relative with the sea training and have described various problems to be contributed to the field of the effective flight instructions.

      • 특수일 전력수요예측을 위한 신경회로망 시스템의 개발

        Conventional short-term load forecasting techniques have limitation in their use on holidays due to dissimilar load behaviors of holidays and insufficiency of pattern data. Thus, a new short-term load forecasting method for special days in anomalous load conditions is proposed in this paper. The proposed method uses two Artificial Neural Networks(ANN); one is for the estimation of load curve, and the other is for the estimation of minimum and maximum value of load. The forecasting procedure is as follows. First, the normalized load curve is estimated by ANN. At next step, minimum and maximum values of load in a special day is obtained by combining these two outputs of ANNs. The proposed method shows a good performance, and it may be effectively applied to the practical situations.

      • Pore Flow Model에 의한 투과증발기구의 해석에 관한 연구

        A study was carried out on the separation of water-ethanol mixtures by pervaporation using cellulose acetate membrance. The experimental data were further analyzed by using a transport theory developed on the basis of the pore flow mechanism. The experimental result for pure liquid is well coresponded to calculated one by pore flow mechanism. But due to interactions and coupling effects between permeats and membrance, difference is existed between experimental and calculated results for mixture. In pervaporation of single component, the total permeate flux decreased with an increase of permeate pressure and increased with an increase of temperature. The experimental permeate flux with permeate pressure was well fitted with calculated one by pore flow model. The activation was 11.714 KJ/mol for water, 1,508 KJ/mol for ethanol. For the mixture, the total permeate flux increased with an increase of temperature and decreased with an increase of feed ethanol mole fraction. However, there are considerable difference between experimental and calculated one due to interactions and coupling.

        The finite element method is used for the study of the elastic critical load of partially fixed end beams with, intermediate elastic supports. The elastic critical loads of beams are investigated by changing the numbers of elastic supports and their stiffness also by changing Kinney's fixity factor, f_a. The results show that the elastic critical loads of beams are increasing with the increasing Kinney's fixity factor, f_a and with the increasing numbers of intermediate elastic support. The critical loads show a general trend that they converge to a certain value.
