        Sydno [3,4-a] quinoxaline-4-one, one of the fused-ring sydnones, was prepared through the reaction of 3- (2'-aminophenyl) sydnone with methyl lithium and ring clousing carboxylation reaction at-20℃ by R.H. Coburn et al in literature. In this study, two new synthetic methods of sydno [3.4-a] uinoxaline-4-one are examined, and successfully earned the product. The first synthetic scheme is the reaction of 3- (2'-aminophenyl) sydnone with ethyl magnesium bromide at 0℃, and the second one is the reaction of 3- (2'-aminophenyl) sydnone with isocyanate at 140℃. As result, the synthetic process of fusedrung sydnones is expanded by this study and the possible reaction path of new synthetic scheme is proposed.

      • 4 로터 시스템 및 컨트롤러 설계

        In this research, a small VTOL(Vertical Take-off and Landing) aircraft with 4 rotors which is driven by a remote controller is designed, constructed and tested. The drive circuits with MPU(Micro Process Unit) including deriving strategies are designed. Since the mass center of 4-rotor system is located at lower position, the system is more stable while the handling quality of the aircraft becomes worse. In order to evaluate the dynamic characteristics of the system and to design controllers for yawing, pitching and rolling motions, 6-DOF nonlinear dynamic mathematical model is derived and linearized. For the purpose of modeling, the thrust force of a propeller, the torque of a motor and the moment of inertia for the system are measured and estimated. The Proportional control in terms of yawing velocity and Proportional and Derivative control for rolling and pitching angle could be applied to the system with gyro-sensors. Using the differential equations and Matlab software, the simulation results obtained by use of various controllers are evaluated and compared with those by the possible controllers for the implementation. The experimental results for the yawing motion proportional controlled with gyro-sensor are evaluated by the simulation results for yawing motion.

      • 성인 음낭수종의 치료로서 Window Operation의 효용성

        We intended to determine the usefulness of window operation for adult hydrocele repair. We reviewed medical records of 132 patients from January 1995 to June 1998 with primary hydrocele and evaluated complications and recurrence rates of eversion and/or excision, plication, and internal drainage technique. Recurrence rate was highest in internal drainage technique as 85.2%, and those of eversion and/or excision and plication technique were 1.3% and 4%, respectively. Complication rate was highest in eversion and/or excision technique, and lowest in internal drainage technique. Although complication rate was lowest in window operation, this operation could not be successful due to high recurrence, and we suggest that this operation should be abandoned for hydrocele repair.

      • 특이 다변수 2축 헬리콥터 시뮬레이터 시스템의 LQG/LTR 제어기 설계

        This thesis deals with 2-D.O.F simple helicopter simulator with yawing(azimuth) and pitching(elevation) motion. In the viewpoint of research process, the study was proceeded according to the following 3 steps. Firstly, the nonlinear dynamic equations of motion are linearized. The state space model of the linearized equations is a singular multivariable system. However nonsingular DPM(Design Plant Model) would be obtained through SVD(Singular Value Decomposition) and replacing zeros in diagonal terms by small values. Secondly, LQG, LTR control theory is utilized to design the controller of MIMO system. Finally, real time control system is operated with PC and DC motor controller in the practical application to the hardware. The computer simulations are carried out for the purpose of evaluation of LQG/LTR controller applied to the Helicopter simulator. As a result , the system performance shows the LQG/LTR controller is better than PID controller. However some problems exist in practical experiment, the LQG/LTR controller only works within narrow range from the nominal point. That is the limitation of LQG/LTR controller designed for the linearized system.

        급성 충수돌기염의 조기 진단을 위한 초음파검사의 의의

        Background: In the most of emergency department, the diagnosis of appendicitis has been carried by clinical history, physical examination and plain X-ray. But the diagnostic accuracy by these methods was so low that unnecessary operation was common performed, and sometimes the operation was delayed till the physicians could confirm the acute appendicitis clinically. Although many kinds of diagnostic tools such as CT scan, laparoscope, and etc, we believe that ultrasonography(US) would be a quick and sensitive diagnostic method for the evaluation of acute appendicitis in the Emergency Department. Methods: Forty-seven patients who were clinically suspected as acute appendicitis were evaluated with the grayscaled US by emergency physician. The probe of US was placed on maximal tender point of abdomen, and the appendix image was evaluated while probe was pressed deeply and gently. When the blind loop was found at maximal tender point of abdomen, we evaluated the diameter of appendix, the presence of compressibility, peri-appendiceal fluid collection and other mass effect. As soon as the ultrasonographic evidences of the appendicitis were noticed, the operations were done and pathologic report were reviewed later. Results: Among the forty-seven patients, forty patients were diagnosed as a appendicitis by Us, and most common ultrasonic findings were as follows; 1) non-compressible blind loop larger than 5 mm in diameter, 2) wall thickening more than 3 mm, 3) peri-appendiceal fluid collection, 4) periappendiceal mass. Among remaining 7 patients in whom we could not get any positive findings of appendicitis, abdominal CT scan was carried in 2 cases who had direct and rebound tendemess on right lower abdomen, and CT scan showed the evidences of the appendicitis. The other 5 cases without rebound tendemess were observed for 2 hours, and abdominal pain was disappeared lately. Finally forty-two patients were operated and confirmed as acute appendicitis by pathologic reports; 24 were reported as suppurative appendicitis, and 12 cases of gangrenous appendicitis, 3 cases of perforated appendicitis, and 3 cases were peri-appendiceal abscess. The specificity of US in the diagnosis of acute appendicitis was 71.4%, and the sensitivity was 95.2%. Conclusions: In some patients suspected appendicitis, emergency physicians could diagnosis acute appendicitis accurately and rapidly by use of ultrasonography. Although the US was an accurate imaging modality to diagnosis acute appendicitis and evaluate its complications, we recommend a laparotomy or abdominal CT scan in the patients with negative US findings in spite of presence of peritoneal irritation signs such as rebound tenderness and/or muscle guarding on right lower abdomen.

        This study was performed to evaluation the skin and eye irritation of etofenprox 8% and spinosad 4% combination in male New Zealand White rabbits. In skin irritation test, the combination of etofenprox and spinosad did not showed any change of body weight but caused slight skin irritation with the P.I.I. (primary irritation index) value 0.25. The etofenprox and spinosad combination showed severe eye irritation 1 h, 24 h, 48 h, and 72 h after ocular treatment, having the A.O.I. (acute ocular irritation) value of 37.3. Therefore, these result indicated that the combination of etofenprox and spinosad might be irritant formulation on eye and skin.

        저자들은 만성골수성백혈병으로 동종 골수이식과 이식편 부전으로 인하여 추가적인 말초혈액 조혈모세포이식을 시행 받은 환자에서 만성 이식편대숙주질환과 그 폐 합병증인 폐색성 세기관지염에 동반된 자발성 기종격동과 피하 기종이 병발한 1예를 경험하였기에 이를 보고하는 바이다. Obstructive lung disorders following after allogeneic bone marrow transplantation (BMT) in association with graft- versus-host disease (GVHD) contribute significant morbidity and mortality. We report a case of a 28-year-old man who developed spontaneous pneumomediatinum and subcutaneous emphysema complicating bronchiolitis obliterans after allogeneic BMT. He received an allogeneic BMT for chronic phase of chronic myeloid leukemia. Five months after BMT, he was boostered by allogeneic peripheral blood stem cells from the same donor due to graft failure. One month after the boostering, chronic GVHD developed and were treated with cyclosporine and steroid. The patients developed spontaneous pneumomediatinum and subcutaneous emphysema secondary to severe bronchiolitis obliterans 4 months after boostering donor cells. The air-leak syndromes were recovered by conservative management, including high-flow oxygen.

      • 우리나라 도시와 농촌 지역 주민의 혈중 연 및 혈중 Zinc Protoporphyrin농도 비교 연구

        The study was carried out on healthy population in urban and rural area, in order to compare the level of blood lead (PbB) and blood zinc protoporphyrin (ZPP) between the population living in each area from July 1 1994 to December 31 1994. We stratificated the results with sex, age and area. The results obtained were as follows; 1. In urban area, overall mean of the PbB level was 7.08±1.61㎍/dl and both men and women had the highest level of PbB, which were 8.15±0.85㎍/dl, 6.90±1.48㎍/dl, in less than 39 years old group. In rural area, overall mean of the PbB level was 6.75±1.61㎍/dl and both men and women had the highest levels of PbB, which were 7.25±2.29㎍/dl, 7.00±2.92㎍/dl in 40∼49 years old group. And there was statistically significant difference between mean of the men's PbB level in urban area and that in rural area (p<0.05). 2. In urban area, overall mean of the ZPP level was 32.08±8.28㎍/dl and men had the highest level of ZPP, which was 29.59±5.13㎍/dl, in 40∼49 years old group, and women had that, which was 36.83±7.95㎍/dl, in less than 39 years old group. In rural area, overall mean of the ZPP level was 34.54±11.31㎍/dl and men had the highest level of ZPP, which was 32.10±5.45㎍/dl, in less than 39 years old group and women had that, which was 40.17±14.02㎍/dl, in 40∼49 years old group. And there was statistically significant difference between mean of the men's ZPP level in urban area and that in rural area (p<0.05). 3. There was statistically significant difference in PbB and ZPP between men and women group in both area (p<0.05) but not significant among age group in both area (p>0.05).

It is the aim of this study to create and investigate the high added value products of brassieres by embroidering using of traditional plant patterns.

        This paper presents an exact dynamic element for composite Timoshenko beam, which is inherently subjected both to bending and torsional vibration. The coupling effect between bending and torsional vibrations is considered in the derivation of the exact dynamic element. Three examples are provided to validate and illustrate the proposed exact dynamic element matrix for composite Timoshenko beam.
