The catalytic conversions of methanol, ethanol, dimethyl ether and diethyl ether to aromatic hydrocarbons (especially benzene, toluene and xylene) were achieved over 0.8%Zn/0.6%La/HZSM-5catalyst with a BTX selectivity as high as over 50% at reaction conditions of 710 K, WHSV 0.8 h1. The selectivity of BTX hydrocarbons in methanol aromatization reaction could remain 35% in 40 h. 2010 The Korean Society of Industrial and Engineering Chemistry. Published by Elsevier B.V. A design method of second generation wavelet (SGW)-based multivariable finite elements is proposed for static and vibration beam analysis. An important property of SGWs is that they can be custom designed by selecting appropriate lifting coefficients depending on the application. The SGW-based multivariable finite element equations of static and vibration analysis of beam problems with two and three kinds of variables are derived based on the generalized variational principles. Compared to classical finiteelement method (FEM), the second generation wavelet-based multivariable finite element method (SGWMFEM) combines the advantages of high approximation performance of the SGW method and independent solution of field functions of the MFEM. A multiscale algorithm for SGW-MFEM is presented to solve structural engineering problems. Numerical examples demonstrate the proposed method is a flexible and accurate method in static and vibration beam analysis.
Reliability-Based Iterative Proportionality-logic Decoding of LDPC Codes with Adaptive Decision
Youming Sun,Haiqiang Chen,Xiangcheng Li,Lingshan Luo,Tuanfa Qin 한국통신학회 2015 Journal of communications and networks Vol.17 No.3
In this paper, we present a reliability-based iterative proportionality-logic decoding algorithm for two classes of structured low-density parity-check (LDPC) codes. The main contributions of this paper include: 1) Syndromemessages instead of extrinsic messages are processed and exchanged between variable nodes and check nodes, which can reduce the decoding complexity; 2) a more flexible decision mechanism is developed in which the decision threshold can be self-adjusted during the iterative process. Such decision mechanism is particularly effective for decoding the majority-logic decodable codes; 3) only part of the variable nodes satisfying the pre-designed criterion are involved for the presented algorithm, which is in the proportionality-logic sense and can further reduce the computational complexity. Simulation results show that, when combined with factor correction techniques and appropriate proportionality parameter, the presented algorithm performs well and can achieve fast decoding convergence rate while maintaining relative low decoding complexity, especially for small quantized levels (3–4 bits). The presented algorithm provides a candidate for those application scenarios where the memory load and the energy consumption are extremely constrained.

This paper investigates the traffic offloading over unlicensed bands for two-tier multi-mode small cell networks. We formulate this problem as a Stackelberg game and apply a hierarchical learning framework to jointly maximize the utilities of both macro base station (MBS) and small base stations (SBSs). During the learning process, the MBS behaves as a leader and the SBSs are followers. A pricing mechanism is adopt by MBS and the price information is broadcasted to all SBSs by MBS firstly, then each SBS competes with other SBSs and takes its best response strategies to appropriately allocate the traffic load in licensed and unlicensed band in the sequel, taking the traffic flow payment charged by MBS into consideration. Then, we present a hierarchical Q-learning algorithm (HQL) to discover the Stackelberg equilibrium. Additionally, if some extra information can be obtained via feedback, we propose an improved hierarchical Q-learning algorithm (IHQL) to speed up the SBSs` learning process. Last but not the least, the convergence performance of the proposed two algorithms is analyzed. Numerical experiments are presented to validate the proposed schemes and show the effectiveness.
New decoupled wavelet bases for multiresolution structural analysis

One of the intractable problems in multiresolution structural analysis is the decoupling computation between scales, which can be realized by the operator-orthogonal wavelets based on the lifting scheme. The multiresolution finite element space is described and the formulation of multiresolution finite element models for structural problems is discussed. Various operator-orthogonal wavelets are constructed by the lifting scheme according to the operators of multiresolution finite element models. A dynamic multiresolution algorithm using operator-orthogonal wavelets is proposed to solve structural problems. Numerical examples demonstrate that the lifting scheme is a flexible and efficient tool to construct operator-orthogonal wavelets for multiresolution structural analysis with high convergence rate.

It is an inevitable trend for business associations to participate in social governance and provide social services. But at present, the ability of business associations to provide services is not strong, and their social credibility is not high. Thus it is urgent to improve the governance capacity of them. On the basis of literature review and expert interview, this paper builds up a concept model and puts forward hypotheses. Research result from the analysis of 172 valid questionnaires shows that resources access ability and six other factors would influence the governance capacity of business associations in China. The research result attempts to provide reference for the Chinese government and business associations to take corresponding measures to improve the effectiveness of governance.

It has been demonstrated that APPL1 (adaptor protein, phosphotyrosine interacting with PH domain and leucine zipper 1) is involved in the regulation of several growth-related signaling pathways and thus closely associated with the development and progression of some cancers. Diallyl trisulfide (DAT), a garlic-derived bioactive compound, exerts selective cytotoxicity to various human cancer cells through interfering with pro-survival signaling pathways. However, whether and how DAT affects survival of human hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) cells remain unclear. Herein, we tested the hypothesis of the involvement of APPL1 in DAT-induced cytotoxicity in HCC HepG2 cells. We found that Lys 63 (K63)-linked polyubiquitination of APPL1 was significantly decreased whereas phosphorylation of APPL1 at serine residues remained unchanged in DAT-treated HepG2 cells. Compared with wild-type APPL1, overexpression of APPL1 K63R mutant dramatically increased cell apoptosis and mitigated cell survival, along with a reduction of phosphorylation of STAT3, Akt, and Erk1/2. In addition, DAT administration markedly reduced protein levels of intracellular TNF receptor-associated factor 6 (TRAF6). Genetic inhibition of TRAF6 decreased K63-linked polyubiquitination of APPL1. Moreover, the cytotoxicity impacts of DAT on HepG2 cells were greatly attenuated by overexpression of wild-type APPL1. Taken together, these results suggest that APPL1 polyubiquitination probably mediates the inhibitory effects of DAT on survival of HepG2 cells by modulating STAT3, Akt, and Erk1/2 pathways.
