고등학교 일반수학 교과서의 오류분석

The purpose of the paper is to analyze the various fallacies of the current textbooks of high school mathematics. The scopes of the research consist of terminologies, editorial problems, and logical errors. By comparing with textbooks, it was found that mathematical teminologies are used differently. The reason why this problem happens is that the Ministry of Education has not unified the terminogies more concretely. Some textbooks do not explain some definitions clearly and the authors proposed some remedies to overcome these problems.

패션잡지에 나타난 양성이미지의 사회적 의미변화에 관한 연구(Ⅰ) : 의복품목과 장식을 중심으로 Focused Fashion Item and Adornment

The purpose of this study is to analyze how the women's fashion with the androgynous image(fashion item, adornment) which has appeared on our specialized fashion magazine from 1986 through 2000. As a result of this study I drew the following conclusion. First, masculine image led the market in the first stage of mid 1980 in a men's wear oriented trend that the woman wear masculine style jacket, pants and blouse. In hair style, the short hair of the masculine image was used habitually but the make-up was tend to be made heavily. The ambivalence of the sex was also showed up by expressing the feminine image on the masculine image using the accessories like necklace, earing and bracelet. Second, unlike the first stage, it showed that more and more feminine image was accepted in the second stage of early 1990. The jacket, blouse and pants were rooted as the basic item in women's fashion. The feminine style of long hair and natural make-up with the and androgynous image were increased. Third, in the third stage of the late 1990, the fashion items to the comfortable dress of light weight as the life style pursuits the activity and convenience. The feminine image were appeared naturally with a long hair style and natural make-up with the androgynous image. The remarkable features in the fashion accessories were that boots and low shoes were preferred by the increase of the masculine image shoes and the sneakers were seen a lot by the effect of the sports boom.

In this paper, we study on the interoperability between the traditional telephone, connected to the circuit-switched networks, and the internet phone, connected to the Internet, respectively. Especially, we focus on the necessity and possibility of interoperability, and furthermore derives the necessary requirements of interoperability. For this purpose, we analyze both ISDN and Internet signalling system, that are closely related with the interworking. We also investigate the basic call processing parts of each system using the state transition diagrams and the signalling procedures. Then, we model the signalling protocol for gateway systems using the Petri-Net model. Through reachability trees of the Petri-Net model, we confirm that interoperability is possible, and that characteristics of deadlock, liveness, and boundness are satisfied. Finally, we describe the design of interworking function that converts the differences of two signalling systems.

약물의 in vitro 투과 실험을 위한 사람의 비강점막상피세포 단층막의 일차배양

The primary culture of human nasal epithelial cell monolayer was performed on a Transwell. The effect of various factors on the tight junction formation was observed in order to develop an in vitro experimental system for nasal transport studies. Human nasal epithelial cells, collected from human normal inferior turbinates, were plated onto diverse inserts. After 4 days, media of the apical surface was removed for air-liquid interface (ALI) culture. Morphological characteristics was observed by transmission electron microscopy (TEM). A polyester membrane of 0.4 μm pore size was determined as the most effective insert based on the change in the transepithelial electric resistance (TEER) value as well as the ^14C-mannitol transport study. The ALI method was effective in developing the tight junction as observed in the further increase in the TEER value and reduction in the permeability coefficient (P_app) of ^14C-mannitol transport. Results of the transport study of a model drug, budesonide, showed that the primary culture system developed in this study could be further developed and applied for in vitro nasal transport studies.

Hemingway 作品에 나타난 Symbol의 分類

The purpose of this thesis is to examine how Hemingway's symbolosm has used with his style in his representative works of fiction and how to classify Hemingway's sym-bols. Hemingway's symbolism was derived from realism and seemed to be employed to supplement simplicity of his expression. His symbolism was a calculcalated and serious trial for effective realism. Therefore I call Hemingway's symbolism "the highly dimen-sional realism," because, with it, Hemingway tried to lift realismto higher dimension. I classified Hemingway symbolism on the basis of actual use in his fictions as fol-lows: (1) Weather: rain, snow, wind, (2) Natural things: mountain, plain, river, sea, swamp, (3) Inanimate objects: wall, clock, mirror, window, boat, (4) Living things: lion, hyena, cat, trout, leopard, shark, squirrel, (5) Human body: hair, (6) Christian symbols: Santiage, Cantwell, (7) Others: plunging into the river, recollection. Rain of Hemingway's symbols is death, disaster Snow is the symbol of immortality or eternal life. Among Natural things mountain symbolizes Home-concept and plain symb-olizes Not-Home concept. Swamp is a sinister symbol. Among inanimate objects wall is the symbol of despair, clock and mirror is the symbol of cold-hearted violence. Wind-ow is the symbol of expectation or hope, boat means irony of human separation. Hemin-gway uses hair as a symbol of femininity in characterixing his females. As a whole wo-man with long hair is pure, ideal woman, but short, bobbed hair is the symbol' of this la-ck. Both Cantwell and Santiago are Christian symbols. In conclusion Hemingway's greatest literary achivement lies in creation of simplicity'through his hard-boiled style characterized by maximun unemtional understatement through exterior delineation and the supplementary use of symbolism. I think he is not so much a thinker as an artist. It is sure that Hemingway, an artist with his unique, particular hard-boiled style, will be remembered for many centyries hereafter, and the modern value of his craftsmanship will be highly esteemed forever.

문제 중심 학습법 수행을 위한 컴퓨터 프로그램 개발

Medicine in the twenty-first century will be different from the medicine of today. Recent changes in medical environment, such as changes in disease and mortality pattern and rapid increase in medical knowledge, require change and adaptation of medical education. The task of medical education is to help people entering medicnie to prepare to meet their professional obligations in this new context. So we tried to join Problem-base learning(PBL), which challenges students to be more actively involved in defining what they learn and how they learn, and Computer-assisted learning(CAL), which uses multimedia and medical informatics as learning tools. Finally we developed Problem-oriented medical education program using the Internet. First, using simulated patient cases, we built clinical database with patients’ history, physical examinations, and various laboratory findings. To provide PBL program through the Internet, we constructed client-server system using IIS(Internet Information Server) on Windows-NT settings, and made user-friendly dynamic interface with HTML, JAVA, JAVE Script and so on. PBL on the WEB will make students learn effectively and actively, and offer vivid multimedia environment for medical education. We expect this PBL program to be used as an effective learning tool for residents or doctors as well as for medical students in the near future.

특이섭동 시스템의 적응제어 및 시뮬레이션

The pseudo-plant contains a model whose order is determined by the controller order. The given plant is identified by a higher order identifier, and then reduced to the controller order by means of the singular perturbation concept. The plant, the chosen model, and a filter constitute the pseudo-plant. For the implementation of the adaptive controller, a design guideline of the filter is proposed. As the plant model is chosen by a reliable procedure, choosing the filter to have the same frequency characteristics of the chosen model might be a good policy. Simulation results show the effectiveness fo proposed method.

There exists a major impediment to learning electricity which may illuminate why direct presentation of scientists' ideas is too aggressive a strategy. This impediment lies in thinking that electricity is used up and in envisaging the light bulb as a consumer. This view is based on a powerful idea which summarises much of our experience; it declares that 'things get used up', 'you cannot get something for nothing', and 'intuitive thinking'. To replace this view with scientific view, we made the analogy model. It is suggested that the analogy model is more effective in teaching electricity circuits than conventional teaching method.
