Primary intraosseous carcinoma of the mandible

A very uncommon tumor, primary intraosseous carcinoma (PIOC), is a carcinoma arising within the jaw. The definite diagnosis of PIOC is often difficult as the lesion must be distinguished from alveolar carcinoma that may invade the bone from the overlying soft tissues or from the tumors that have metastasized to the jaw from a distant site. A case of PIOC arising in the mandible is presented. The clinical, radiologic, and histologic features are described. This rare lesion should be considered in any differential diagnosis of a jaw radiolucency.

PTW를 이용한 수변전 계통의 고조파 특성 분석

In this paper the harmonics characteristics were analysed in industrial power systems using PTW(Power Tool Window). Some unknown input data, cable and transformer, were estimated by the approximation method. It is found that the high level harmonics are mainly caused by electric power conversion equipments used for rotating loads. Especially, it was observed that the maximum voltage waveform distortion rate appears at the low voltage bus for DC drive and the voltage and current waveforms are much irregular than those of the other loads.

각종 피부종양에서 p53과 bcl-2 발현양상

Background : The function of p53 protein was known to accelerate the apoptosis, but bcl-2 protein was known to suppress the apoptosis. The overexpression of p53 and bcl-2 proteins has been reported in many malignant tumors. Although the mechanism of tumorgenesis of the p53 and bcl-2 protein took hasnot been proved, bcl-2 positive tumors contrast to p53, appeared to have good prognosis. The expression pattern of p53 and bcl-2 in epidermal tumors has not been well known. The author analyzed immunohistochemical expression of p53 and bcl-2 protein and investigated the role of p53 and bcl-2 protein in the developing tumors of epidermal origin. Method : 15 cases of squamous cell carcinoma, 20 cases of basal cell carcinoma, 10 cases of keratoacanthoma and 6 cases of Bowen's disease were stained immunohistochemically stain with anti p53 and anti bcl-2 monoclonal antibody. Results : 1. In squamous cell carcinoma, the reaction of p53 was positive in 13 cases(86%) and the stain pattern showed more intensive reaction in poorly differentiated cells in the same tumor. bcl-2 showed negative in all cases of squamous cell carcinoma(0%). 2. In basal cell carcinoma, the reaction of p53 was positive in 10 cases (50%). The positive cells were mainly observed in squamous metaplastic portion, but the reaction was weak. bcl-2 showed positive in all cases of basal cell carcinoma (100%) and the reaction was strong. 3. In keratoacanthoma, p53 was positive in 7 cases (70%). The positive cells were mainly observed in the cells around the basement membrane. This finding suggested that p53 positive basal cells were programmed to become keratoacanthoma. bcl-2 was negative in all 10 cases of keratoacanthoma. (0%) In some cases, bcl-2 positive cells were observed around the basement membrane in some cases., which were negative to p53 This finding suggested that the existence of these bcl-2 positive cells were related to the prognosis of keratoacanthoma. 4. In Bowen's disease, p53 was positive in 5 cases ( 83% ) and the reaction was strong, so the tumor cells in Bowen's disease appeared to be poorly differentiated type. bcl-2 was negative in all 6 cases ( 0% ) of Bowen's disease, but bcl-2 positive cells were observed in the basement membrane in some cases.

The performance concept is based on the assumption that a building is designed and built to support, and enhance, the activities and goals of its occupants. Therefore, the performance concept facilitates an objective evaluation method by comparing stated performance criteria for buildings with the actual performance as measured or perceived by building occupants and evaluators. Performance evaluation relates client goals and performance criteria to the actual, objectively and subjectively measurable building performance. Performance criteria used in evaluation are developed from goals and objectives which in themselves are derived from values held by occupants, evaluators and owners. Frequently, there are differences in values among various groups or units of the same organization. The purpose of this study is to systemize the aspects of the performance evaluation and to propose a integrative model to evaluate building performance.

반도체 제조장비 및 핵심부품 조사연구

This paper describes the state of the art about main equipments for semiconductor manufacturing. Front-end equipments such as stepper, CVD, etcher, ion implantor, RTP, CMP and back-end equipments including wire bonder, Mold/Trim/Form, tester are chosen for this study. Technology trend, parts classification and major manufacture's DB are surveyed. It could be used to making a strategy for the development of semiconductor equipment.

建築空間의 機能的 觀點에 대한 根源的 考察

Architecture is the Compound of material and human spirit. From this relation the confronting concept between functional aspects and formal aspects that are fundamental elements in Architecture can be generated. In this study, the relation of man and Architectural space is deduced from aspects to which internal or external regultion elements in architectural design for formulation of Human-centered environment converge. The results of this study are as follow. By inter supplemental order of hierarchy, the function of architectural space is composed complicately with 5 factors: 1. Factor of Need by development stage of human consciousness and behavior. 2. Factor of Telesis by environmental condition and human relation. 3. Associational factor considering response of human consciousness to space. 4. Aesthetic factor by criteria of human Judgement on space. 5. Factor of uses by human usage of space.

Cutis Marmorata Telangiectatica Congenita 의 1예

Cutis marmorata telangiectatica congenita is a rare congenital vascular anomaly, characterized by congenital cutis maromrata, phlebectasia, opider nevi, ulceration, and in most instances, steady improvement from birth. We report a case of cutis marmorata telangiectatica congenita in 3-month-old boy who has developed localized, dark red reticulated mottling with shiny atrophic scars on the inner side of the left leg. Diagnosis was confirmed by clinical and histopathologic features.

We have studied on the curriculum to develop the communication department of the inter-related fisheries and marine junior college groups and abridged them as follows. (1) A vessel communication has the special characteristics compared with general communication field and also it has an aim to protect the lives and the property from dangerous navigation. For these reasons we must educate many competent graduates who are versed in business and accustom themselves to necessary knowledge of communication and can be adapted them selves to the advanced communication method, techniques and international information on the communication. (2) Training goal and way of thinking of students were rearranged and the occupational cluster in the electronic-communication field was fractionated to develop the curriculum. Especially regarding operator's duty served the above purpose as a occupational cluster, we analyzed their job in accordance with it. (3) International convention on standards of training certification and watchkeeping for seafarers, 1978 was reflected, also international telecommunication convention was referred so that it might be satisfied with the condition to be observed. (4) Developing the curriculum, we responed and analyzed the questions from scientific world, industrial organizations and graduates and provide their advice and suggestions form consultive committee and reflected them to develop the curriculum

嶺南大學校 "Convention Center"의 Site Planning에 관한 考察

Analysing all the problems with which Gyongsan campus of Y. N. University is confronted in the academic and physical aspects, Authors can set a core of each academic zone and introduce a Campus System that includes the concept of multiversity. This thesis deals with site planning as a basic study for the construction of multi-purpose typed 'Convention Center' which may be the most critical of the cores. Informations that is acquired from this thesis would be a useful guideline for the possible building design.
