A Triaxial Model for the Halo Density Profile
Yipeng Jing 한국물리학회 2006 THE JOURNAL OF THE KOREAN PHYSICAL SOCIETY Vol.49 No.2I
In this paper, a non-spherical model is presented for dark matter halos on the basis of a careful analysis, following Jing & Suto (2002), of state-of-the art N-body simulations. The fitting formula presented here forms a complete and accurate description of the triaxial density profiles of halos in cold dark matter (CDM) models. This modeling allows us to quantitatively discuss implications for shape observations of galactic and cluster halos. The predictions of the concordance CDM model are compared with shape observations from the Milky Way to rich clusters of galaxies. With the triaxial model, one can interpret much better the observed number of giant arcs and high projected density concentrations of rich clusters than one can with the conventional spherical model.M0
Cooperative Behaviors of Thermodynamic Kuramoto Model Under External Fields
Yipeng Shao,Yinghua Jin,Aihua Hu,Shuobing Yang 제어·로봇·시스템학회 2022 International Journal of Control, Automation, and Vol.20 No.12
Each oscillator, subject to external fields, interacts with all the other oscillators. Therefore, the original thermodynamic Kuramoto model (TK model) is used to study the influence of some external fields upon its cooperative behavior. Three kinds of external fields are applied to the system: (a) random noises, (b) periodic force, (c) random noises and periodic force, so as to discuss TK model’s cooperative behavior under external fields. In some adequate frameworks formulated with initial data and system parameters, the model exhibits cooperative dynamics.

Teacher job satisfaction plays a key role in influencing a quality teaching workforce and student success. This article presented an analytical framework comprising teacher, classroom and school factors, and tested it by applying a three-level modeling technique with data drawn from 11 high-performing systems that participated in Teaching and Learning International Survey (TALIS) 2013. The quantitative results show that: (1) at the teacher level, higher self-efficacy is associated with higher job satisfaction; more effective professional development and collaboration are associated with higher job satisfaction; mid-career teachers tend to be the least satisfied group compared with young and old teachers. (2) at the classroom level, teaching larger classes is associated with lower satisfaction, while teaching classes with higher percentage of low achievers or low socioeconomic students is associated with lower satisfaction; (3) at the school level, student-teacher relationship is significantly positively associated with job satisfaction. The article concludes with implications for policy makers and educators across countries.
Tourism Information Navigation System Based on SoftMan
Yipeng Zhou,Junping Du,Yang Yang,Guangping Zeng,Xuyan Tu 제어로봇시스템학회 2010 제어로봇시스템학회 국제학술대회 논문집 Vol.2010 No.10
This paper provides a navigation system model and some critical implementation techniques. Softman is introduced into this system, and its migration model and strategy are all proposed, which can improve the Softman’s adaptability in complex network and host environment. A feature mapping and concept expansion method is also presented to describe the semantic of multimedia information and establish concept network using ontology. The implementation of tour planning on PDA demonstrates the validity of proposed methods.

This study explores the application and effectiveness of translation strategies centered on intercultural communication by comparing the Korean novel 'The Vegetarian' and its Chinese translation. Cultural and linguistic differences between China and Korea have been examined through various conversations in the novel, highlighting the unique aspects of each culture, as well as the similarities in the importance of family and food. The study emphasizes the necessity of cultural awareness and sensitivity in effective communication and recognizes the importance of culturemes and translation models in research on novel translations involving intercultural communication. The newly proposed cultureme translation model holds significant value in translation research and practice, demonstrating the importance of exploring and constructing balanced translation models centered on communication for the translation of culturemes between Chinese and Korean. This approach enables more accurate and culturally sensitive translations. Overall, this study serves as a valuable resource for understanding cultural nuances and family dynamics in Korean and Chinese societies, ultimately contributing to a deeper exchange and understanding between the two cultures.
