        RhGLP-1 (7-36) protects diabetic rats against cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury via up-regulating expression of Nrf2/HO-1 and increasing the activities of SOD

        The present study aimed to explore the neuroprotective effect and possible mechanisms of rhGLP-1 (7-36) against transient ischemia/reperfusion injuries induced by middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO) in type 2 diabetic rats. First, diabetic rats were established by a combination of a high-fat diet and low-dose streptozotocin (STZ) (30 mg/kg, intraperitoneally). Second, they were subjected to MCAO for 2 h, then treated with rhGLP-1 (7-36) (10, 20, 40 μg/kg i.p.) at the same time of reperfusion. In the following 3 days, they were injected with rhGLP-1 (7- 36) at the same dose and route for three times each day. After 72 h, hypoglycemic effects were assessed by blood glucose changes, and neuroprotective effects were evaluated by neurological deficits, infarct volume and histomorphology. Mechanisms were investigated by detecting the distribution and expression of the nuclear factor erythroid-derived factor 2 related factor 2 (Nrf2) in ischemic brain tissue, the levels of phospho-PI3 kinase (PI3K)/PI3K ratio and heme-oxygenase-1 (HO-l), as well as the activities of superoxide dismutase (SOD) and the contents of malondialdehyde (MDA). Our results showed that rhGLP-1 (7-36) significantly reduced blood glucose and infarction volume, alleviated neurological deficits, enhanced the density of surviving neurons and vascular proliferation. The nuclear positive cells ratio and expression of Nrf2, the levels of P-PI3K/PI3K ratio and HO-l increased, the activities of SOD increased and the contents of MDA decreased. The current results indicated the protective effect of rhGLP-1 (7-36) in diabetic rats following MCAO/R that may be concerned with reducing blood glucose, up-regulating expression of Nrf2/HO-1 and increasing the activities of SOD.

        1인 미디어 인터넷 방송 시청과 준사회적 상호작용에 관한 연구 -준사회적 상호작용, 콘텐츠몰입, 시청자 성별 간의 상호작용 효과를 중심으로-

        본 연구는 중국에서 가장 대표적인 동영상 플랫폼 중 하나인 비리비리(Bilibili)를 연구대상으로 선정하여, 시청자가 1인 미디어 방송을 시청할 때 준사회적 상호작용, 콘텐츠몰입 그리고 성별 간의 상호작용이 시청 만족도, 공유 의도, 후원의사에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 이를 위해 비리비리 1인 미디어 방송을 시청하는 중국인을 대상으로 2021년 1월 10일부터 20일까지 11일간 실시간으로 설문 조사를 실시하였으며, 총 323부를 분석에 사용하였다. 분석결과 콘텐츠몰입 정도가 높은 집단, 준사회적 상호작용이 높은 집단, 그리고 여성 집단에서 시청만족도가 더 높게 나타났다. 상호작용면에서 콘텐츠몰입 정도가 낮고 준사회적 상호작용이 높은 집단에서 시청만족도가 더 높게 나타났다. 콘텐츠몰입, 준사회적 상호작용, 그리고 성별이 종속변인인 시청만족도에 대한 태도에 있어서 3원 상호작용을 보였다. 남성 집단에서 콘텐츠몰입이 높고 준사회적 상호작용이 낮을 때 시청만족도가 더 높게 지각하는 것으로 나타났다. 반대로, 여성 집단에서 콘텐츠몰입이 높고 준사회적 상호작용이 높을 때 시청만족도가 더 좋은 결과가 나왔다는 것을 알 수 있다. 두 번째, 콘텐츠몰입 정도가 높은 집단과 준사회적 상호작용 높은 집단에서 공유의도가 더 높게 나타났다. 콘텐츠몰입 정도가 높고 준사회적 상호작용이 높은 집단에서 공유의도가 더 높은 것으로 알 수 있다. 3차원 상호작용에서 남성 집단에서 콘텐츠몰입이 높고 준사회적 상호작용이 낮을 때 공유의도가 더 높게 지각하는 것으로 나타났다. 여성 집단에서 콘텐츠몰입이 높고 준사회적 상호작용이 높을 때 공유의도도 더 좋은 결과가 나왔다는 것을 알 수 있다. 세 번째, 콘텐츠몰입 정도가 높은 집단, 준사회적 상호작용이 높은 집단에서 후원의사가 더 높게 나타났다. 2차원 상호작용에서 콘텐츠몰입이 높고 준사회적 상호작용이 높은 집단에서 후원의사의 적극성이 더 높게 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 1인 미디어 인터넷 방송의 콘텐츠몰입, 준사회적 상호작용, 시청자 성별 및 시청자 반응에 대한 이론적, 실무적 함의와 시사점을 제공할 것이다. This study selected Bilibili, one of China's most representative video platforms, as the subject of the study, to analyze the effects of quasi-social interactions, content immersion, and gender interactions on viewer satisfaction, sharing intentions, and commitment when watching single-person media broadcasts. To this end, a real-time survey was conducted for 11 days from January 10 to 20, 2021 on Chinese people who watched one-person media broadcasting corruption, and a total of 323 copies were used for analysis. According to the analysis, viewing satisfaction was higher in groups with high content flow, groups with high parasocial interaction, and women's groups. In terms of interaction, viewing satisfaction was higher in groups with low content flow and high parasocial interaction interaction. It showed three-way interaction in terms content flow, parasocial interaction, and attitudes toward viewing satisfaction, where gender is a dependent variable. It has been shown that when male groups have high content flow and low parasocial interactions, viewer satisfaction is perceived to be higher. On the contrary, it can be seen that viewer satisfaction was better when content flow was high and parasocial interaction was high in female groups. Second, the intention of sharing was higher in groups with high content flow and in groups with high parasocial interaction. It can be seen that the sharing intention is higher in groups with high content flow and high parasocial interaction. In the three-way interaction, it has been shown that the intention of sharing is higher when content flow is high and parasocial interaction is low in male groups. It can be seen that the intention of sharing was also better when content flow was high and parasocial interaction was high in women's groups. Third, in groups with high content flow and high parasocial interactions, Tufe doctors showed higher levels of intent. In the two-way interaction, Tufe's activism was higher in groups with high content flow and high parasocial interaction. Based on these results, we will provide theoretical and practical implications and implications for content flow, parasocial interaction, viewer gender and viewer response in one-person media Internet broadcasting.

        The teaching of Non-violence (अहिंसा, Ahimsa) refers to not harming all sentient beings. It is the core idea of Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, and the other religions originated in India. Especially in Jainism, the teaching and practicing on “Ahimsa” were heavily emphasized. In modern times, Mahatma Gandhi's philosophy of non-violence and non-cooperative thoughts were deeply influenced by the creed of Jainism, which served as a banner to win the national independence and liberation of India from the British. The Nonviolence thinking possesses respect for one's own life, all life forms as well as restraining and balancing on three levels of one’s physical body, speech, and mindset. In order to achieve “harmlessness” in behavior, speech, and thinking. When the COVID-19 Pandemic was raging around the world since early 2020, and countries from all over the world are facing a massive crisis, the teaching of non-violence (अहिंसा, Ahimsa) in Jainism thus becoming very precious. Under the circumstances of the overwhelming consumerism addition to the deterioration of human morality. In consequence, the natural environment is seriously damaged at the global scale. Today, what will we learn from the teachings of Jain Thirthankaras, such as Mahavira, the ancient Indian philosopher and founder of Jainism? The question is becoming quite reflective.

        Moisture-Induced Reversible Softening of Polyacrylates-Stiffened Cotton Fabrics

        The stiffening finishing of cotton fabrics has been widely used in textile industry. However, the notorious softeningof stiffened fabrics attenuated the stiffening style during storage. To reveal crucial factors responsible for the softeningphenomenon and elucidate the mechanism, cotton twill woven fabrics finished with polyacrylates (PAcr) stiffening agentswere systematically analyzed. The sensitive index to stiffening effect, i.e. stiffness value, was found which can fully assessthe handle changes of stiffened fabrics. The stiffness value of stiffened cotton fabrics decreased rapidly in the initial stage ofstorage, and the declining extent was related to the hygroscopic behavior of stiffened fabrics. Based on the hygroscopickinetic data, hygroscopic-drying cyclic experiments, and morphology characterization, it was found that interfaces betweencotton fibers and stiffening agent film were maintained during the whole hygroscopic process, and the reason for handlechanges of stiffened cotton fabrics was ascribed to the reversible moisture-induced plasticization effect on PAcr stiffeningagent film and cotton fibers. Furthermore, the underlying softening mechanism was further proposed in this work. Collectively, the present results are crucial for anti-softening in stiffening finishing of hydrophilic fabrics and an importantpart for the research on the mechanism of softening of stiffened fabrics.

        Observer-based H∞ Guaranteed Cost Control for Uncertain Singular Time-delay Systems with Input Saturation

        In this paper, the problem of observer-based H¥ guaranteed cost control for uncertain singular timedelaysystems with actuator saturation is concerned. A delay-dependent sufficient condition is proposed, whichguarantees that the closed-loop system is admissible via Lyapunov theory and linear matrix inequality (LMI) approach. Then, with this condition, the estimation of stability region, the upper bound of cost function and the designmethod of observer-based H¥ guaranteed cost controller are given by solving linear matrix inequalities and convexoptimization problems. Finally, numerical examples are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposedmethod.

      • Fuzzy Partition based Similarity Measure for Spectral Clustering

        The efficiency of spectral clustering depends heavily on the similarity measure adopted. A widely used similarity measure is the Gaussian kernel function where Euclidean distance is used. Unfortunately, the result of spectral clustering is very sensitive to the scaling parameter and the Euclidean distance is usually not suitable to the complex distribution data. In this paper, a spectral clustering algorithm based on fuzzy partition similarity measure ( FPSC) is presented to solve the problem that result of spectral clustering is very sensitive to scaling parameter. The proposed algorithm is steady extremely and hardly affected by the scaling parameter. Experiments on three benchmark datasets, two synthetic texture images are made, and the results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.
