AN EXACT PENALTY FUNCTION METHOD FOR SOLVING A CLASS OF NONLINEAR BILEVEL PROGRAMS

Yibing Lv 한국전산응용수학회 2011 Journal of applied mathematics & informatics Vol.29 No.5

In this paper, a class of nonlinear bilevel programs, i.e. the lower level problem is linear programs, is considered. Aiming at this special structure, we append the duality gap of the lower level problem to the upper level objective with a penalty and obtain a penalized problem. Using the penalty method, we give an existence theorem of solution and propose an algorithm. Then, a numerical example is given to illustrate the algorithm.

Distributed Cubature Kalman Filter with Performance Comparison for Large-scale Power Systems

Yibing Sun,Yige Zhao 제어·로봇·시스템학회 2021 International Journal of Control, Automation, and Vol.19 No.3

This paper studies a distributed cubature Kalman filter algorithm for the dynamic state estimation of a large-scale power system, which is interconnected and consists of some sub-areas. Using the hybrid measurements, each subsystem runs the proposed algorithm independently and in parallel to forecast and estimate its local state, which helps in reducing the whole execution time and the communication load without a central coordinator. The edge measurements and the exchanged information with the neighboring subsystems are utilised to correct the local state estimation of each subsystem, which makes this algorithm improve some known methods in literature. Simulation results of the IEEE 118-bus system are provided to demonstrate the performance of the proposed algorithm by comparing it with the distributed methods based on the extended Kalman filter and unscented Kalman filter.

      • Communication Modulation Signal Recognition Algorithm Based on Entropy Cloud Characteristics

Yibing Li,Jie Chen,Dandan Liu,Jingchao Li 보안공학연구지원센터 2016 International Journal of Signal Processing, Image Vol.9 No.5

Communication modulation signal recognition, as an emerging technology, has been widely used in the field of communication reconnaissance. It is generally known that the characteristics of communication modulation signals under low SNR environment is difficult to extract. To solve this problem, a novel modulation signal feature extraction algorithm based on entropy cloud characteristics is put forward in three steps by this paper. Firstly, it extracts entropy characteristics of the modification signal, which introduce the exponential entropy to construct two-dimensional feature entropy with shannon and exponential entropy for a better signal recognition performance. Then, it extracts cloud digital characteristics of information entropy to build three-dimensional feature, which can depict the modulation type characteristics of the signal. Finally, it uses grey correlation classifier for signal identification. By means of simulation, it can be seen that the new algorithm has overcome the defection that signal characteristics are unstable and difficult to extract under low SNR environment in the traditional method. So the new algorithm is available and effective for the signal identification under low SNR environment, thus achieves the goal of the signal classification.

Triple-Band Scheduling with Millimeter Wave and Terahertz Bands for Wireless Backhaul

        Yibing Wang,Hao Wu,Yong Niu,Jianwen Ding,Shiwen Mao,Bo Ai,Zhangdui Zhong,Ning Wang 한국통신학회 2022 Journal of communications and networks Vol.24 No.4

With the explosive growth of mobile traffic demand, densely deployed small cells underlying macrocells have great potential for 5G and beyond wireless networks. In this paper, we consider the problem of supporting traffic flows with diverse QoS requirements by exploiting three high frequency bands, i.e., the 28 GHz band, the E-band, and the Terahertz (THz) band. The cooperation of the three bands is helpful for maximizing the number of flows with their QoS requirements satisfied. To solve the formulated nonlinear integer programming problem, we propose a triple-band scheduling scheme which can select the optimum scheduling band for each flow among three different frequency bands. The proposed scheme also efficiently utilizes the resource to schedule flow transmissions in time slots. Ex- tensive simulations demonstrate the superior performance of the proposed scheme over three baseline schemes with respect to the number of completed flows and the system throughput.

      • An Efficient Combination Method of Conflict Evidences

Yibing Li,Jie Chen,Yun Lin 보안공학연구지원센터 2015 International Journal of Hybrid Information Techno Vol.8 No.12

Evidence theory is an effective method for uncertainty reasoning, which is widely used in areas like expert system, artificial intelligence, pattern recognition and system decision. But traditional DS combination rule will produce the result contrary to intuition on the condition of high confliction. To solve the problem, this paper proposes a modified method based on the option of distance function and correction of support degree. Firstly, it introduces the Minkowsky distance as distance function of evidences and finds the support degree of each evidence in system, then corrects the support degree on the basic of its distribution, finally, it gets the weighted average of evidence by the normalized evidence credibility, and uses the DS combination rule to synthesis evidences. The simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness and reliability of modified method.

OSCILLATION THEOREMS FOR CERTAIN SECOND ORDER NONLINEAR DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS

        Yibing Sun,Zhenlai Han,Ping Zhao,Ying Sun 한국전산응용수학회 2011 Journal of applied mathematics & informatics Vol.29 No.5

In this paper, we consider the oscillation of the following certain second order nonlinear differential equations (r(t)(x'(t))^α+q(t)x^β(t)=0,where α and β are ratios of positive odd integers. New oscillation theorems are established, which are based on a class of new functions Φ=Φ(t,s,l) defined in the sequel. Also, we establish some interval oscillation criteria for this equation.

Recommended levels of calcium and non-phytate phosphorus for yellow-feathered broilers (finisher phase)

        Wang Yibing,Wang Weiwei,Zhang Sheng,Jiang shouqun 아세아·태평양축산학회 2022 Animal Bioscience Vol.35 No.12

Objective: This study examined the effects of dietary calcium (Ca) and non-phytate phosphorus (NPP) on performance, tibial characteristics, meat quality and plasma biochemical variables in yellow-feathered broilers during 85 to 105 d of age. Methods: A total of 720 heads of 85-d broilers were allocated into 9 groups and provided with three levels of Ca (0.65%, 0.75%, 0.85%), and NPP (0.25%, 0.30%, 0.35%) in diets for 21 d. Results: The final body weight (FW), average daily gain (ADG), average daily feed intake (ADFI), and feed to gain ratio (F:G) were affected (p<0.05) by dietary Ca. From the quadratic regressions, the optimal level of Ca in diet were 0.71% for FW and ADG, and 0.67% for ADFI. Dietary Ca and NPP both significantly affected tibial breaking strength and density. From the quadratic regressions, the optimal level of Ca and NPP in diet were 0.81% and 0.37% for tibial density. The shear force of breast muscle of broilers given 0.75% or 0.85% Ca were lower than that in birds with 0.65% Ca and drip loss of birds given 0.65% or 0.75% Ca was lower than that in birds with 0.85% Ca (p<0.05). The drip loss of birds given 0.25% NPP was lowest among all NPP treatments (p<0.05). Calcium affected (p<0.05) the plasmal contents of phosphorus, osteocalcin (OC), parathyroid hormone (PTH) and calcitonin and the contents of OC and PTH were also influenced by dietary NPP. Conclusion: Dietary Ca and NPP level affected tibial characteristics, meat quality and biochemical variables in plasma of finisher-phase yellow-feathered broilers (85 to 105 d) and Ca also affected growth performance. Dietary 0.71% Ca and 0.30% NPP were enough for growth performance, while considering the growth performance, tibial characteristics, meat quality and biochemical variables together, 0.75% Ca and 0.37% NPP were recommended.
