        중국조선족사회는 중국과 한반도를 연계하는 동북아지역의 중심지대에 처해있고 邊緣文化區域을 형성하였으며 따라서 文化轉換기능을 강하게 나타내므로 동북아지덕체 있어서 중요한 전학적인 지위를 차지하고 있다. 문화적으로 중국조선족사회는 한반도 모체문화와 증국문화의 융합으로 이중성격을 띠고 있는데 그것이 바로 조선족사회의 우세이며 발잔의 특수한 조건이다. 이러한 문화적인 우세는 邊緣文化區域의 한 개 돌출한 특성으로 나타나는데 세계화를 꿈꾸고 동북아경계적인 불럭화를 지향하는 한국에는 물론 중국에 있어서도 중요한 전략적인 의미를 띠고 있다. 중국조선족사회가 지니고 있는 문화적인 우세를 이용하여 우리민족의 문화전략을 펴내는 것은 강대한 문화력을 형성하고 경제력을 확장하는 한반도 세계문화전략의 중요한 일환이므로 마땅히 우리들의 환심을 불러일으켜야 한다. 그리고 중국조선족사회가 지니고 있는 문화전환기능은 한반도의 통일에 있어서도 적극적이고 중요한 요소이므로 중국조선족사회와 한반도의 관계를 재정립하여 통일의 유리한 환경을 조성할 필요가 있다 The ethnic Korean society in China, often called 'Chosunjok', is based on the central area of Northeast Asia which links the Korean Peninsula and China. It has built up the Byunyon Culture Prefecture. This prefecture shows strong features of cultural conversion and occupies an important strategic status in the region of Northeast Asia. The culture of ethnic Korean society in China maintains a duplicity with the merger of the parent culture in the Korean Peninsula and ongoing relations within the Chinese culture. This dual status offers conditions helping this unique society to have superiority and a strong developmental background. As one of its prominent characteristics, cultural superiority holds a strategic significance, both to China and Korea, that dreams of globalization and the economical blocking of Northeast Asia. It plays an important role in Korea's world culture strategy which can assist in Korea's economic move forward by using the cultural superiority of Korean society in China. It is quite natural that we pay attention to this society and its cultural superiority. The function of cultural conversion, which the Korean society in China has, is an active and important factor in the unification of the Korean Peninsula. We should build up the relationship between the Korean society in China and the Korean Peninsula, and create more favorable circumstances toward the unification of Korea.

      • A novel computer vision-based vibration measurement and coarse-to-fine damage assessment method for truss bridges

        To assess structural condition in a non-destructive manner, computer vision-based structural health monitoring (SHM) has become a focus. Compared to traditional contact-type sensors, the advantages of computer vision-based measurement systems include lower installation costs and broader measurement areas. In this study, we propose a novel computer vision-based vibration measurement and coarse-to-fine damage assessment method for truss bridges. First, a deep learning model FairMOT is introduced to track the regions of interest (ROIs) that include joints to enhance the automation performance compared with traditional target tracking algorithms. To calculate the displacement of the tracked ROIs accurately, a normalized cross-correlation method is adopted to fine-tune the offset, while the Harris corner matching is utilized to correct the vibration displacement errors caused by the non-parallel between the truss plane and the image plane. Then, based on the advantages of the stochastic damage locating vector (SDLV) and Bayesian inference-based stochastic model updating (BISMU), they are combined to achieve the coarse-to-fine localization of the truss bridge's damaged elements. Finally, the severity quantification of the damaged components is performed by the BI-SMU. The experiment results show that the proposed method can accurately recognize the vibration displacement and evaluate the structural damage.

        Study on Aging Characteristics and Chemical Composition of Hydrogenated Transformer Oil

        Under the condition of Baader aging, the chemical composition variation and the influence of transformer oil aging on electrical properties such as dielectric loss factor and physicchemical properties such as interfacial tension were studied in the aging precess. Moreover, the correlation between hydrogenated transformer oil electrical and physic-chemical properties and its chemical composition variation were also investigated. The results show that these parameters of physic-chemical and electrical properties of hydrogenated transformer oil relate to each other and have closed correlation with chemical composition.

      • Investigation of a Novel IGCT Module for DC Circuit Breaker

        Power semiconductors for DC circuit breaker (DCCB) have attracted great attentions due to their fast and arc-less operation under full-range current-breaking. Since the robustness of Integrated Gate-Commutated Thyristor (IGCT) is the highest among all full-control power semiconductors, it becomes the perfect power semiconductor candidate for DC circuit breaker. In this paper, the principle and operation of hybrid circuit breaker are introduced. Technical analysis of full-control power semiconductor is conducted and IGCT is the best choice for HCB. Then, A novel power semiconductor circuit based on two IGCTs, diode-bridge, snubber-circuit and MOV is proposed and designed both topologically and structurally. The selection of full-control power semiconductor is discussed and fast recover diode must be used to ensure reliability. Furthermore, the internal current distribution is analyzed. Finally, a test of a single-stage IGCT module prototype demonstrates successful current-breaking at over 10kA and below 4kV, which is promising in the area of fault protection in future MVDC distribution system.

      • Overexpression and Clinicopathological Contribution of DcR3 in Bladder Urothelial Carcinoma Tissues

        Background: To explore the expression of DcR3 protein and its clinicopathological significance in bladder urothelial carcinomas (BUC). Materials and Methods: Immunohistochemistry was performed to detect the expression of DcR3, caspase-3, Bcl-2, VEGF, Ki-67, PCNA and P53 in 166 BUC and 56 normal bladder tissues. Western blotting was used to detect the expression of DcR3 in the supernatants of cultured BUC cells. Results: Overexpression of DcR3 was found in BUC tissues and cell lines, with significant elevation as compared to normal bladder tissues (p<0.0001). Higher DcR3 expression was related to the status of invasion, lymph node metastasis and recurrence. Furthermore, DcR3 expression was negatively correlated with caspase-3 and positively associated with Bcl-2, VEGF, Ki-67 labeling index (LI), PCNA LI and P53 (all p<0.0001), respectively. Conclusions: DcR3 may play a crucial role as an oncogene in tumorigenesis, deterioration and progress of BUC via influencing related pathways of apoptosis, proliferation and angiogenesis. The detection of DcR3 protein in the formalinfixed and paraffin-embedded samples could assist to predict in prognosis of BUC patients.

      • 개혁ㆍ개방기의 조선족사회 변화와 과제

        중국 30년의 개혁개방정책에 따른 급속한 경제성장, 그리고 정치환경의 변화에 따라 중국최근 조선족사회도 일대 변혁을 가져왔다. 조선족사회는 과거의 폐쇄, 반폐쇄 상태로부터 벗어나 점차 대외개방정책을 추구하면서 점차 지구화시대의 흐름과 보조를 같이하게 되었다. 조선족 사회는 지구화시대에 부응하면서 경제, 문화 등 다양한 측면들에서 획기적 발전을 가져왔다. ‘양날의 칼’로 불리는 지구화는 조선족사회의 경제문화적 발전을 가져다 줌과 동시에 전통집거지 공동화(空洞化), 교육체계 심각한 위축, 인적자원의 유실 등 문제점들을 노정시키면서 다양한 조선족사회 존속 자체를 위협하고 있는 것도 사실이다. 조선족사회가 겪고 있는 심각한 진통은 조선족학계 내의 논쟁에서도 잘 나타나고 있다. 조선족 사회에 대한 조선족 학계의 연구는 주로 ‘비관론’과 ‘낙관론’으로 양분할 수 있다. 그중 비관론이 주도적 위치를 차지한다. 비관론자들은 일반적으로 전통집거지의 붕괴, 이에 따른 민족정체성 상실로 조선족사회가 동화의 위기에 놓여 있다고 보고 있다. 이에 반해 낙관론자들은 당면 조선족 사회의 ‘위기’는 중국의 개혁개방, 산업화, 도시화에 의한 개개인들의 합리적 선택의 결과로 일개 ‘성장통’에 불과하다고 본다. 단 낙관론은 비관론과 대등할만한 위치를 차지하고 있는 것은 아니다. 왜냐하면, 낙관론을 뒷받침 할 수 있는 조선족사회 현실적 근거가 너무나 빈약하기 때문이다. 이 연구는 조선족사회문제를 낙관론이나 비관론 어느 한 측면에만 기울어져 분석하는 것은 문제가 있다고 본다. 비관론은 지나치게 전통적인 조선족사회를 비교의 기준 또는 잣대로 설정하고 오늘의 조선족사회를 부정적으로 평가하고 있다. 물론 낙관론도 나름대로의 설득력을 갖는 것은 사실이나 산적해 있는 조선족사회 문제점들을 간과하는 경향을 나타낸다. 따라서 이 연구는 낙관론이나 비관론 문제라는 그 차원을 떠나 보다 현실적 측면, 즉 어떻게 하면 조선족 사회를 존속시켜나가야 하는가라는 방법론적 문제에 초점을 맞출 필요성이 있음을 주장한다. 그러자면 우선적으로 조선족사회가 위기상황에 직면한 원인부터 파헤쳐야 할 것이다. 이 연구는 다음의 두 가지 원인을 제시하고자 한다. 첫째, 상대적 경제낙후성에 따른 집거지 흡인력 부족이다. 둘째, 한반도문화와 중국문화를 초월하는 초국가적 성격 또는 조선족들의 복합문화적 성격은 중국 내 다른 민족들에 비해 행동반경을 넓혀주었다. 이러한 두 가지 요인의 상호작용으로 조선족사회의 인구유동은 단방향적 성격을 띠면서 인구유출의 확대를 초래했고 궁극적으로 집거지 공동화를 초래하게 된 것이다. 따라서 여기에서는 위의 논의들에 기반하여 다음의 몇 가지 관점들을 제시하고자 한다. 첫째, 오늘의 시대에 있어서 언구유동은 ‘합리적 선택’의 원칙에 의해 진행된다. 따라서 단방향적 인구유동을 지양하고 쌍방향적 인구유동구조를 구축하는데 초점을 맞추어야 한다. 둘째, 쌍방향적 인구유동구조 구축에서 가장 큰 난제는 바로 지역사회 흡인력 부족에 있다. 셋째, 흡인력부족의 문제는 지역사회 개방도 부족에서 연유된다. 폐쇄상태에 놓여 있는 북한으로 인해 조선족사회 역시 반폐쇄적 상태에 놓여 있다는 것이다. 이에 따라 북한 개혁개방 유도를 위한 조선족사회의 노력도 간과할 수 없는 요인이다. 넷째, 조선족사회는 한반도문화와 중국문화를 넘나들 수 있는 특유의 복합문화기능을 갖고 있다고는 하나 아직 저수준단계에 놓여 있다. 따라서 경쟁의 시대에 부응할 수 있는 보다 높은 단계의 변연문화체계 구축에 힘써야 한다. 이러자면 한반도문화와 중국문화에 보다 적극적으로 접근할 수 있는 개방적 자세가 중요해진다. 30 years of successful pushing forward of the reforms and opening up in China, the high rise economic development and the political change have brought a great revolution in the Korean Chinese society. The Korean Chinese society has changed from its total or semi-closure state to catch up with the pace of globalization. During keep up with the trend of globalization, the economy, culture and various aspects of Korean Chinese society have got a significant development. Globalization is much like a double-edged While it enhances economic development and social progress severe contraction of education system, etc. which has the whole Korean Chinese society. The Korean Chinese society is experiencing a serious debate in the Korean Chinese academic circle. The research schools on Korean Chinese society are mainly divided into optimism and pessimism, and the pessimism is holding a upper position. The pessimists claimed that with the collapse of traditional heritage, the ethnic identity of Korean Chinese is facing dangerous challenge. On the contrary, the optimists proposed that the crisis of Korean Chinese society is only the “the pains in growing up” in the process of the reform and opening-up, industrialization and urbanization of China. However, the pessimism is still more persuasive than the optimism. It mainly because the optimism adequate facts to support their view. This paper holds that it is unreasonable to analyze the issues of Korean Chinese society with the views of optimism or pessimism. The Pessimism take the traditional Korean Chinese society as the criterion, it is too negative to evaluate the modern Korean Chinese society. Of course, the optimism also have their persuasive reason, but the optimists consider the scattered problem of Korean Chinese too simplistic. Therefore, this paper investigates the problems of the Korean Chinese society from the realistic perspective, taking a focus on how to keep the existence of the Korean Chinese community. In order to solve the above problem, this paper analyzes the factors from two aspects. First, the relative backward gathering place is lack of attractive. Second, with the transnational cultural influence of China and South Korea, the activity field of Korean Chinese is increasingly broadened. Owing to the interaction of these two factors, the population movement of Korean Chinese society has changed to the one-way direction, which making the export population increasingly expanded and the collapse of. In conclusion, the points of this paper can be summarized as follows: First, the current population movement is carried out based on the ‘rational option’ principle. Therefore, the one-way direction of people movement phenomenon should focus on the construction of two-way population movement. Second, the difficult problem on constructing the two-way flow population movement is that the local community lack of attractive. Third, the problem of insufficient attractiveness is mainly because of the closure state of North Korea. Therefore, in order to guide the reform and opening up of North Korea, the efforts of Korean Chinese community are also very important. Fourth, the Korean Chinese society is an integration of Korean culture and Chinese culture, also is a complex community with a unique feature, but it is still at a low level stage, so great effort should be taken to make it become a much higher level cultural community. Therefore, in order to make the communication between the Korean Peninsula and China more activity, the open posture of Korean Chinese society is becoming more and more important.

        Causal Relations between Exposome and Stroke: A Mendelian Randomization Study

        Background and Purpose To explore the causal relationships of elements of the exposome with ischemic stroke and its subtypes at the omics level and to provide evidence for stroke prevention. Methods We conducted a Mendelian randomization study between exposure and any ischemic stroke (AIS) and its subtypes (large-artery atherosclerotic disease [LAD], cardioembolic stroke [CE], and small vessel disease [SVD]). The exposure dataset was the UK Biobank involving 361,194 subjects, and the outcome dataset was the MEGASTROKE consortium including 52,000 participants. Results We found that higher blood pressure (BP) (systolic BP: odds ratio [OR], 1.02; 95% confidence interval [CI], 1.01 to 1.04; diastolic BP: OR, 1.03; 95% CI, 1.01 to 1.05; pulse pressure: OR, 1.03; 95% CI, 1.00 to 1.06), atrial fibrillation (OR, 1.18; 95% CI, 1.13 to 1.25), and diabetes (OR, 1.13; 95% CI, 1.07 to 1.18) were significantly associated with ischemic stroke. Importantly, higher education (OR, 0.69; 95% CI, 0.60 to 0.79) decreased the risk of ischemic stroke. Higher systolic BP (OR, 1.06; 95% CI, 1.02 to 1.10), pulse pressure (OR, 1.08; 95% CI, 1.02 to 1.14), diabetes (OR, 1.28; 95% CI, 1.13 to 1.45), and coronary artery disease (OR, 1.58; 95% CI, 1.25 to 2.00) could cause LAD. Atrial fibrillation could cause CE (OR, 1.90; 95% CI, 1.71 to 2.11). For SVD, higher systolic BP (OR, 1.04; 95% CI, 1.00 to 1.07), diastolic BP (OR, 1.06; 95% CI, 1.01 to 1.12), and diabetes (OR, 1.22; 95% CI, 1.10 to 1.36) were causal factors. Conclusions The study revealed elements of the exposome causally linked to ischemic stroke and its subtypes, including conventional causal risk factors and novel protective factors such as higher education.

        Emodin ameliorates high-glucose induced mesangial p38 over-activation and hypocontractility via activation of PPARγ

        Early stage diabetic nephropathy is characterized by elevated glomerular filtration. Recent studies have identified high-glucose induced p38 MAPK (p38) over-activation in mesangial cells. Mesangial hypocontractility is the major underlying mechanism, however, no ameliorating agents are currently available. We investigated the protective effects of emodin on high-glucose induced mesangial cell hypocontractility. Mesangial cells were cultured under normal (5.6 mM) and high glucose (30 mM) conditions. Emodin was administrated at doses of 50 mg/l and 100 mg/l. Angiotension II stimulated cell surface reductions were measured to evaluate cell contractility. p38 activity was detected using Western blotting. To further explore the possible mechanism of emodin, expression of the peroxisome proliferator- activated receptor γ (PPARγ) was measured and its specific inhibitor, gw9662, was administrated. Our results showed: (1) high-glucose resulted in a 280% increase in p38 activity associated with significant impairment of mesangial contractility; (2) emodin treatment dose-dependently inhibited high-glucose induced p38 over-activation (a 40% decrease for 50 mg/l emodin and a 73% decrease for 100 mg/l emodin), and mesangial hypocontractility was ameriolated by emodin; (3) both the PPARγ mRNA and protein levels were elevated after emodin treatment; (4) inhibition of PPARγ using gw9662 effectively blocked the ameliorating effects of emodin on high-glucose induced p38 over-activation and mesangial hypocontractility.
