Epidermal inclusion cysts are formed by inclusion of keratinizing squamous epithelium within the dermis, resulting in a cyst filled with lamellated keratin. These benign cysts are usually very small and intradermal subcutaneous lesions. They can occur anywhere in the body although they are more common on the face, trunk, neck, extremities and scalp. Only a few cases of epidermal cysts of the breast have been reported in the literature. An epidermal inclusion cyst of the breast can result in several problems, even if the size is unusual. We encountered a case of a giant sized epidermal inclusion cyst of the breast initially mimicking a large fibroadenoma or phyllodes tumor.

Objectives: We analyzed water in waterscape facilities to investigate contamination levels of water-borne pathogens and four test items (pH, turbidity, residual chlorine, and Escherichia coli) at facilities including play fountains, splash parks, and artificial streams from June to October in Suwon City and in the whole of Gyeonggido. Methods: A total of 62 waterscape facility samples were collected from 36 sites and tested for pathogenic Escherichia coli and water-borne viruses that cause hand-foot-and-mouth disease, eye disease, and acute enteritis. Results: None of the water-borne pathogens were detected in waterscape facility samples collected from across Gyeonggi-do that were for pre-inspection for facility management. However, the results of samples from Suwon collected in hot weather and during the school vacation period showed five total inconsistencies in turbidity (four cases) and Escherichia coli (one case). Three out of the four inconsistent samples in turbidity were from the same facility which operated a sand filtration system due to its locational factors close to mountains. Conclusion: We suggest that the waterscape facilities in Gyeonggi-do are managed properly in the respect of microbial contamination and water quality.

Objective : Endothelial colony-forming cells (ECFCs) have been reported to play an important role in the pathogenesis of moyamoya disease (MMD). We have previously observed stagnant growth in MMD ECFCs with functional impairment of tubule formation. We aimed to verify the key regulators and related signaling pathways involved in the functional defects of MMD ECFCs. Methods : ECFCs were cultured from peripheral blood mononuclear cells of healthy volunteers (normal) and MMD patients. Lowdensity lipoproteins uptake, flow cytometry, high content screening, senescence-associated β-galactosidase, immunofluorescence, cell cycle, tubule formation, microarray, real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction, small interfering RNA transfection, and western blot analyses were performed. Results : The acquisition of cells that can be cultured for a long time with the characteristics of late ECFCs was significantly lower in the MMD patients than the normal. Importantly, the MMD ECFCs showed decreased cellular proliferation with G1 cell cycle arrest and cellular senescence compared to the normal ECFCs. A pathway enrichment analysis demonstrated that the cell cycle pathway was the major enriched pathway, which is consistent with the results of the functional analysis of ECFCs. Among the genes associated with the cell cycle, cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor 2A (CDKN2A) showed the highest expression in MMD ECFCs. Knockdown of CDKN2A in MMD ECFCs enhanced proliferation by reducing G1 cell cycle arrest and inhibiting senescence through the regulation of CDK4 and phospho retinoblastoma protein. Conclusion : Our study suggests that CDKN2A plays an important role in the growth retardation of MMD ECFCs by inducing cell cycle arrest and senescence.

본 연구에서는 차륜 및 칼날폭 조절이 가능한 승용형 2조식 콩 예취수확기에서의 축 구조해석과 제어시스템을 제안한다. 축 구조해석에서는 하중을 받는 축의 두께를 변경하여, 두께에 따른 변형량과 응력을 각각의 조건에서 이론적으로 계산하였으며, Static Structure(Ver. 13.0. ANSYS Inc. U.S.A)의 결과값과 비교하였다. 차륜축 분석결과 축 지름이 증가함에 따라 변형율의 차이는 1%에서 17%였으며, 응력의 차이는 0.7%에서 4.3% 범위였다. 실린더축 분석결과 축 지름이 증가함에 따라 변형율의 차이는 9.01% 에서 24.30%였고 응력의 차이는 1.4%에서 5.16%였다. 체인케이스 분석결과 판의 두께가 증가함에 따라 변형율의 차이는 11.7%에서 13.2%였고 응력의 차이는 18.5%에서 28.5%였다. 차륜폭과 칼날폭 조절을 위한 제어방안으로 유압을 이용하며, 각 장치의 좌/우측을 따로 제어한다. 시스템은 사용자의 안전을 지키고 사고를 방지하기 위해 비상상황 시 정지시킬 수 있도록 제어하며, 각 장치의 폭은 3단계의 정해진 거리를 움직일 수 있도록 한다.

<P>Objective-- Moyamoya disease (MMD) is a common cause of childhood stroke, in which the abnormal function of the endothelial colony-forming cell (ECFC) plays a key role in the pathogenesis of the disease. This study was designed to identify genes involved in MMD pathogenesis using gene expression profiling and to understand the defective function of MMD ECFCs. Approach and Results-- We compared gene expression profiles of ECFCs isolated from patients with MMD and normal controls. Among the differentially expressed genes, we selected a gene with the most downregulated expression, retinaldehyde dehydrogenase 2 (RALDH2). The activity of RALDH2 in MMD ECFCs was assessed by in vitro tube formation assay and in vivo Matrigel plug assay in the presence of all-trans retinoic acid. The transcriptional control of RALDH2 was tested using ChIP assays on acetyl-histone H3. In the results, MMD ECFCs inefficiently formed capillary tubes in vitro and capillaries in vivo, a defect restored by all-trans retinoic acid treatment. Knockdown of RALDH2 mRNA in normal ECFCs also induced decreased activity of capillary formation in vitro. The decreased level of RALDH2 mRNA in MMD ECFCs was attributed to defective acetyl-histone H3 binding to the promoter region. Conclusions-- From these results, we conclude that the expression of RALDH2 was epigenetically suppressed in ECFCs from patients with MMD, which may play a key role in their functional impairment.</P>

본 연구에서는 무인티켓발권기를 사용성 평가 한 뒤 문제점을 도출하고 그것을 바탕으로 아이디어를 제안해 개선방향을 모색함으로써 사용성을 높이고자 한다. 이를 위해 무인티켓발권기를 사용하는 사람들의 관찰조사, 인터뷰, 설문을 실시하였다. 이 후 연구자들이 직접사용해 보고 Workflow를 제작해 시스템을 분석하였다. 이러한 연구를 바탕으로 여러 가지 문제점들을 발견하고, 재확인한 뒤 새로운 문제점을 발견하기 위해 사용성 평가를 진행하였다. 기존 시스템에 대한 페이퍼 프로토타입을 제작해 1차 사용성 평가를 실시하고 문제점을 보완하였다. 그런 다음 새로운 방안에 대한 해결책으로 대안 플래시 프로토타입을 제작해 2차 사용성 평가를 실시하였다. 이를 통해 본 연구에서는 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1) 카드 리딩을 한꺼번에 할 수 있도록 간소화 하여 사용시간을 줄이고 필요에 따라 카드를 사용할 수 있어 효과적인 방법을 제안했다. 2) 불필요한 버튼을 줄이고 GUI를 개선해 인터페이스를 편리하게 했다. 3) 영화선택에 있어서는 시간에 맞게 영화를 선택할 수 있도록 이퀄라이져 형식으로 메뉴를 구성했다. 4) 티켓출력 화면에서 사용자에게 미리보기 같은 사용성을 제공해 편리성을 높였다 This study is to enhance usability by suggesting ideas based on the point at issue derived from evaluating usability of self-service ticket vending machine. For this study, the surveys, interviews and observations of people using self-service ticket vending machine were operated. Hereafter, the researchers analyze and produce a workflow after using it in person. Based on this study, the evaluation of usability were operated to find new problems after several problems were found and reaffirmed. Paper Prototype of existing system were produced to operate first usability evaluation and complement for the problems. Then, Flash Prototype were produced as a solution for new plan and operate second usability evaluation. Following results are obtained through this study. 1) Efficient method is suggested to reduce utilization time and use cards for each occasion by simplifying card reading in once. 2) Interface can be used more conveniently by reducing unnecessary buttons and improving GUI. 3) In case of movie selection, the menus are composed in a form of equilizer in order to choose movies in right time. 4) Enhance the convenience by providing previews for user in ticket printing screen.
