Generally, dyeing and finishing of Bombyx mori silk fibers were proceeded at high temperature, which has thedisadvantages of overmuch energy-consumptions. In the present work, bio-inspired in situ coloring and functionalization ofsilk fabric were carried out via laccase-catalyzed graft polymerization of arylamines, including aniline (ANI) and pphenylenediamine(PPD). p-Hydroxyphenylacetamide (PHAD) as the model compound of tyrosine residues in silk fibroin(SF) was used to explore the mechanism of graft polymerization by means of MALDI-TOF MS. The actions of the dopantsof sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate (SDBS) and sodium p-aminobenzenesulfonate (ABSA) on the enzymatic treatmentwere also concerned. The results indicated that laccase might initiate the self-polymerizations of ANI and PPD, respectively, and formed the copolymers of arylamine and PHAD subsequently. High color depth and color fastness were obtained afterincubation silk fabric with laccase and arylamines, companying with a noticeable pH-responsiveness. The laccase-mediatedtreatment endowed silk fabric with antibacterial and antioxidant abilities, meanwhile, the addition of dopants of SDBS andABSA promoted the enzymatic finishing. Enzymatic graft polymerization of arylamine onto silk fibroin provides a novelapproach for dyeing and functionalization of silk fabrics under mild treating conditions.
Tight Junction Assembly Ensures Maintenance of Pregnancy during Embryogenesis in a Mouse Model

Recent studies showed that tight junctions (TJs) integrity and assembly are required for blastocyst development in mouse and pig models. However, the biological functions of TJs associated with embryo implantation and maintenance of pregnancy were not investigated yet. To examine whether disrupted TJs affect further embryo development, we employed RNAi approach and inhibitor treatment. The embryos were injected with Cxadr (Coxsackievirus and adenovirus receptor) siRNA for knock down (KD) and treated with Adam10 (A Disintegrin and Metalloproteinase specific inhibitor 10; GI254023X; SI). We compared blastocyst development and paracellular sealing assay using FITC dextran uptake between control and KD or SI embryos. Finally, we transferred control and Cxadr KD or Adam 10 SI treated blastocyst to uteri of recipients. Cxadr KD and Adam 10 SI showed lower blastocyst development and more permeable to FITC-dextran. Moreover, we observed that half of KD and inhibited embryos failed to maintain pregnancies after the second trimester. Our findings suggested that TJs integrity is required for the maintenance of pregnancy and can be used as a selective marker for the successful application of assisted reproduction technologies.
Tight Junction Integrity Is Required for Successful Pregnancy Maintenance

Understanding preimplantation embryo development is important because of early embryonic mortality during pre-and post-implantation in assisted reproductive technology (ART). Thus, assessment of in vitro produced embryo prior to ET is the most final in vitro step to monior embryo development and select the best embryo. However, diagnosis of early embryo developmental potential in ART is still limited. Tight junction (TJ) is a crtitical component for blastocyst formation including a fluid-filled cavity, but the functional role was not extensively elucidated after cavitation. To elucidated the importance, we employed loss of function studies and chemical treatment for disruption on interaction between TJs. In the knock-down (KD) or inhibition treated embryos (IHB), half of embryos were arrested between morula to blastocyst transition period. Moreover, among KD and IHB blastocyst transferred to uterus of recipients, half of them failed to maintain pregnancies after 2nd trimester. Collectively, TJ complex and its integrity provide insights into implication of translational research for prediction and selection of developmental competency in human ART.

The Distributed Antenna System (DAS) brings many benefits in Wi-Fi networks in terms of throughput improvement and cost reduction. Nevertheless, it has a significant downturn in transmission success rate and in loss of transmission opportunity in Overlapped Basic Service Sets (OBSSs). This paper shows and validates the problems using the MATLAB based simulator.
