        多节点世界、 新冠疫情与中国公共外交

        伴随经济全球化的深入与信息化社会经济的建立, 一个多节点世界正在形成, 展现出去极性、网络性、互动性的特征, 将国家、社会和个体都卷入其中, 彼此嵌套, 成为诠释当下乃至未来国际秩序的有力模型。新冠疫情的暴发则对多节点世界造成了一定的冲击与影响, 让多节性的内涵更为复杂。在多节点世界里, 中国所特有的公共外交资源、外交传统、丰富的交流方式以及与世界对接的能力可以很好地迎合时代的需要, 同时也面对着节点本身复杂性、社会压力、风险管理体制等现有条件的制约和挑战。从多节点世界的角度进行思考和探索, 将有助于中国公共外交更为健康地向前发展。 Accompanying the development of globalization and the advent of information society, a multinodal world is increasingly taking shape. The depolarization, network and interactivity characteristics of the multinodal world have formulated a convincing model to interpret contemporary as well as future international order, and inevitably delivers great impact on public diplomacy in the coming new era. The outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic has further complicated the multinodal world by changing or accelerating its existing characteristics. Facing explicit challenges, China, with its special public diplomacy resources, diplomatic tradition, diversified communication models and the capability to reach out to the world, can well meet the need of the times, as well as review the complex nature of the nodes, social pressure and the limitations of its risk management system. To think from the angle of multinodality will help China develop better and healthier public diplomacy.

        Targeted Suppression of Connexin 43 in Ovine Preimplantation Embryos by RNA Interference Using Long Double-stranded RNA

        RNA interference (RNAi) is an acknowledged useful and effective tool to study gene function in various cells. Here, we suppressed the Connexin 43 (Cx 43) gene expression during in vitro development of ovine pre-implantation embryos using the RNAi method. The 353 bp Cx 43 double-stranded RNA was microinjected into in vitro fertilized ovine zygotes, and the levels of target mRNA and protein were investigated. Control groups included uninjected zygotes or those injected with RNase-free water. The dsRNA injection resulted in the specific reduction of Cx 43 transcripts as analyzed by quantitative real-time RT-PCR and decreased protein levels as shown by Western blot analysis at the blastocyst stage. Microinjection of Cx 43 dsRNA led to 20.3%, 21.7% and 34.5% blastocyst rates and 19.2%, 37.5% and 41.3% hatched blastocyst rates in Cx 43 dsRNA-injected, water-injected and uninjected groups, respectively. Then the RNAi could not significantly affect cell number and cell death rates of blastocysts. Therefore, suppression of Cx 43 dsRNA and proteins did not apparently affect the development potential of ovine pre-implantation embryos but may play a role in embryo quality. RNAi technology is a promising approach to study gene function in early ovine embryogenesis.

        With the rapid development of the mobile internet and the continuous acceleration of the pace of consumption upgrading, online live streaming marketing has emerged and quickly become an extremely important part of enterprise e-commerce. Profit by the continuous advancement of China's “new infrastructure” construction process, online live streaming marketing has ushered in a development spring with great potential, attracting many e-commerce enterprises to settle in. Compared with traditional e-commerce, the advantages of online live streaming marketing are mainly manifested in rich and transparent product information, strong entertainment, sufficient interaction, rapid establishment of trust between buyers and sellers, and improved the efficiency of consumer purchasing decisions. How to choose suitable marketing strategies for live streaming platforms or live steamers, and how to improve marketing volume have become important issues to be solved. In view of this, this article will analyze several marketing strategies currently widely used in online live streaming, and on the basis of dialectical analysis, based on practice, propose strategies and methods that are conducive to improving the efficiency and level of online live streaming marketing, hoping to promote the steady and sustainable development of e-commerce marketing.

        Synergistic Effect of Bone Marrow-Derived Mesenchymal Stem Cells and Platelet-Rich Plasma in Streptozotocin-Induced Diabetic Rats

        Background: Diabetic wounds are a major clinical challenge, because minor skin wounds can lead to chronic, unhealed ulcers and ultimately result in infection, gangrene, or even amputation. Studies on bone marrow derived mesenchymal stem cells (BMSCs) and a series of growth factors have revealed their many benefits for wound healing and regeneration. Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) may improve the environment for BMSC development and differentiation. However, whether combined use of BMSCs and PRP may be more effective for accelerating diabetic ulcer healing remains unclear. Objective: We investigated the efficacy of BMSCs and PRP for the repair of refractory wound healing in a diabetic rat model. Methods: Forty-eight rats with diabetes mellitus induced by streptozotocin were divided into four groups: treatment with BMSCs plus PRP, BMSCs alone, PRP alone, phosphate buffered saline. The rate of wound closure was quantified. A histopathological study was conducted regarding wound depth and the skin edge at 7, 14, and 28 days after surgery. Results: Wound healing rates were significantly higher in the BMSC plus PRP group than in the other groups. The immunohistochemistry results showed that the expression of platelet/endothelial cell adhesion molecule 1, proliferating cell nuclear antigen, and transforming growth factor-β1 increased significantly in the BMSC plus PRP group compared to the other treatment groups. On day 7, CD68 expression increased significantly in the wounds of the BMSC plus PRP group, but decreased markedly at day 14 compared to the controls.       • Synaptic Actin Dysregulation, a Convergent Mechanism of Mental Disorders?

        <P>Actin polymerization governs activity-dependent modulation of excitatory synapses, including their morphology and functionality. It is clear from humangenetics that neuropsychiatric and neurodevelopmental disturbances are multigenetic in nature, highlighting the need to better understand the critical neural pathways associated with these disorders and how they are altered by genetic risk alleles. One such signaling pathway that is heavily implicated by candidate genes for psychiatric and neurodevelopmental disorders are regulators of signaling to the actin cytoskeleton, suggesting that its disruption and the ensuring abnormalities of spine structures and postsynaptic complexes is a commonly affected pathway in brain disorders. This review will discuss recent experimental findings that strongly support genetic evidence linking the synaptic cytoskeleton to mental disorders, such as schizophrenia and autism spectrum disorders.</P>

        Tunicamycin enhances TRAIL-induced apoptosis by inhibition of cyclin D1 and the subsequent downregulation of survivin

        TNF-related apoptosis-inducing ligand (TRAIL) has been proposed as a promising cancer therapy that preferentially induces apoptosis in cancer cells, but not most normal tissues. However, many cancers are resistant to TRAIL by mechanisms that are poorly understood. In this study, we showed that tunicamycin, a naturally occurring antibiotic, was a potent enhancer of TRAIL-induced apoptosis through downregulation of survivin. The tunicamycin-mediated sensitization to TRAIL was efficiently reduced by forced expression of survivin, suggesting that the sensitization was mediated at least in part through inhibition of survivin expression. Tunicamycin also repressed expression of cyclin D1, a cell cycle regulator commonly overexpressed in thyroid carcinoma. Furthermore, silencing cyclin D1 by RNA interference reduced survivin expression and sensitized thyroid cancer cells to TRAIL; in contrast, forced expression of cyclin D1 attenuated tunicamycin-potentiated TRAIL-induced apoptosis via over-riding downregulation of survivin. Collectively, our results demonstrated that tunicamycin promoted TRAIL-induced apoptosis, at least in part, by inhibiting the expression of cyclin D1 and subsequent survivin. Of note, tunicamycin did not sensitize the differentiated thyroid epithelial cells to TRAIL-induced apoptosis. Thus, combined treatment with tunicamycin and TRAIL may offer an attractive strategy for safely treating resistant thyroid cancers.         공급업체 중단에 대비한 최적의 공급업체의 수 및 주문량 결정

        본 연구에서는 자연재해, 정치‧사회적 불안 요인 등으로 인하여 발생하는 공급업체 중단을 고려하여 구매업체의 기대이익을 최대화하는 주문정책을 제시하였다. 단일 기간에 발생하는 확률적 수요를 가정하고 있으며, 중단 발생 확률을 가지고 있는 다중 공급업체가 하나의 구매업체와 거래하는 2계층 공급사슬 구조를 고려하였다. 또한 구매업체가 공급업체와 거래할 때 거래비용이 발생한다는 가정 아래 최적 공급업체 수와 주문량을 결정하는 방법을 제시함으로써 공급사슬의 안정성과 공급업체와의 거래비용 및 재고비용의 상충관계(tradeoff)에 대해 살펴보았다. 수치예제에서는 공급업체 중단 발생 확률 변화를 고려했을 때 본 연구에서 제시하는 정책과 단일 및 이원 조달정책을 비교‧분석하였다. 그 결과 공급업체 중단발생 확률이 증가함에 따라 다수의 공급업체와 거래하는 것이 구매업체에게 상당한 기대이익 개선 효과가 있음을 확인하였다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 주문정책과 함께 수치예제를 제공함으로써, 역동적인 경영 환경 속에서 기업의 성과를 향상시키기 위한 조달 및 주문 정책 결정 기반을 제공하고자 한다. Recently, the supplier disruption and its effects onto the supply chain management have been gaining growing importance due to increasing natural and socio-political events. In this study, we develop a multi-sourcing type ordering policy utilizing multiple suppliers to mitigate the supplier uncertainty. We considered a simple two-echelon supply chain consisting of one buyer and one or multiple suppliers, where the buyer is facing probabilistic demand and fixed transaction costs are incurred with the suppliers. Under this setting, we analyze the trade-off between the supplier transaction cost and the inventory costs due to increasing the order quantity, and provide the joint optimization method to determine the order quantity and the number of suppliers. By executing various numerical examples we provide practical managerial implications on the sourcing strategy under supplier uncertainty.

        Fluorine-Doped Graphene/Nanosized Carbide-Derived Carbon Composites for High-Performance Supercapacitor

        A graphene-based composite with high electrochemical performance for supercapacitor applications is fabricated by introducing nanoscale carbide-derived carbon (NCDC) into the fluorine-doped graphene (FG). The incorporation of fluorine can increase the specific capacitance of graphene by providing more pseudocapacitance, whereas the introduction of NCDC into the FG/NCDC composite offers high specific surface area (SSA) (up to 1317 m2 g -1) and hierarchical pore structure, resulting in an enhanced electric double layer capacitance. Due to the synergistic effect of pseudocapacitance and electric double layer capacitance, the specific capacitance of FG/NCDC composite can reach 321 F g -1 at a scan rate of 5 mV s -1 in aqueous electrolyte. Notably, the specific capacitance of the FG/NCDC composite is very stable during long-term cyclic tests, with no significant degradation after 10,000 cycles. Due to its excellent supercapacitive performance, the FG/NCDC composite can be considered as a promising electrode material for high-performance supercapacitors.
