        A Study on the Way to Improvement of Career Commitment and Life Satisfaction among Chinese Students Who Study in Korea

        The current number of international students is gradually increasing in the world due to their passion for study or exchange students programs related to be affiliated with their universities. Many international students have great hope for their successful life of studying abroad. The factors that play a key role in successful study abroad can be seen as life satisfaction in host country and career commitment. Therefore, this study suggested the way to improve students' life satisfaction and career commitment among Chinese international students in Korea. It focused on social identification as a core factor in improving international student life satisfaction and career commitment. In addition, it also focused on social support as a factor to increase social identification. According to the results of empirical analysis, it was verified that perceived social support improves social identification among international students. In addition, social identification improves their life satisfaction and career commitment. Therefore, the mediating effect of social identification was found to be significant in the relationship between perceived social support and life satisfaction and career commitment. This study was verified that if international students perceive social support, they can experience social identification. This process can eventually lead to life satisfaction and career commitment. Based on these results, it emphasized that the role and importance of social identification. Finally, the practical implications and future research directions were discussed.

        Using Online Information Support to Decrease Stress, Anxiety, and Depression

        Today, online education is becoming more important. The effectiveness of online education has been measured by student satisfaction and the possibility of substituting offline education. This study proposes a plan to increase the effectiveness of education in a new form by using online information. Education is the process of socializing and growing learners. Representative negative emotions experienced by learners are stress, anxiety, and depression (SAD). A reduction in SAD will promote student growth and improve educational outcomes. This paper considers online information by dividing it into online educational information support (OEDIS) and online emotional information support (OEMIS). We demonstrate that OEDIS reduces SAD, and OEMIS reduces stress and anxiety. By providing online information, negative emotions can be reduced, and educational outcomes can be improved. This study suggests a new role for online information support, such as emotional change in individuals and solving psychological problems. Online information support goes beyond knowledge transfer and can be used in various fields, such as online education that promotes human growth and positive change, and even healthcare.

        Establishing Online Meeting Climate Types and Developing Measurements: Impact on Meeting Satisfaction

        In the post covid-19 era, organizations will experience a new environment. Advances in technologies such as AI and big data, and new experiences such as online meetings and lectures, will increase the use of online communication. Businesses will increasingly engage in online-based information sharing, virtual team operations, and online meetings. This study focuses on meeting climate and satisfaction, to improve the performance of online meetings. Existing studies on meeting climate presuppose off-line situations. Offline and online communication methods and meeting formats are different. This paper proposes new climate types to develop an appropriate climate for online-based meetings. To apply these climates in online meetings, a measurement scale was developed and the impact on online meeting satisfaction was verified. As a result of the study, it was found that the creativity-oriented meeting climate was the most important, and relation-oriented and participation-oriented meeting climates also had a significant effect, while the direction-oriented and task-oriented climates were relatively less important. This study develops new variables and measurements for online meeting climates, and explains their importance. Companies will be able to leverage the appropriate climates for online meetings to improve performance.

        리더 신뢰성이 리더에 대한 신뢰와 조직몰입에 미치는 영향과 리더 공정성 및 리더 개방성의 조절효과

        IT의 급속한 발전과 4차 산업 혁명 시대에 조직 내 인간과 인간관계의 중요성이 여전히 강조되고 있다. 조직 내 인간관계 중 리더와 구성원의 관계는 조직성과와 밀접한 관련성을 지닐 것이다. 특히 리더와 구성원의 관계에서 구성원이 리더를 신뢰하게 된다면 조직성과는 보다 향상될 것이다. 이 연구는 리더신뢰의 중요성을 강조하고 이를 향상시키기 위한 방안을 설명하였다. 이를 위해 구성원이 인지하는 다양한 리더의 신뢰성의 역할과 관련성을 입증하였다. 먼저 리더신뢰의 향상방안으로 구성원이 인지하는 리더의 능력, 성실성, 선의 역할에 초점을 두었다. 그리고 리더신뢰가 조직성과에 미치는 영향을 조직몰입과의 관련성을 설명하였다. 또한 리더신뢰가 조직몰입에 미치는 영향을 증대시키는 방안으로 구성원이 인지하는 리더의 공정성과 리더 개방성의 역할을 조절효과를 통해 설명하였다. 그래서 구성원이 인지하는 다양한 리더의 신뢰성들이 리더신뢰와 어떠한 관련성을 지니며 조직몰입과 같은 성과를 향상시키는지를 입증하였다. 이를 위해 중국 내 국유기업의 8개 산업분야에 종사하는 213명의 직원들을 대상으로 실증분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과 구성원이 인지하는 리더의 신뢰성인 리더의 능력, 성실성, 선의는 모두 리더신뢰에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 리더신뢰도 조직몰입에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 이 세 가지 리더의 신뢰성과 조직몰입 간의 관계에서 리더신뢰는 모두 유의한 완전매개역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 리더신뢰가 조직몰입에 미치는 영향에 있어서 리더 공정성과 리더 개방성은 모두 리더신뢰와 조직몰입 간의 관계를 정(+)적으로 조절하는 것으로 나타났다. 연구의 결과는 중국 국유기업의 상황에서 리더신뢰를 향상시키기 위해서 리더가 지녀야 할 리더의 신뢰성이 무엇인지를 제시하였다. 또한 리더신뢰의 효과성을 증대시키기 위한 방안들이 무엇인지를 설명하였다. 리더는 성과와 관련하여 신뢰의 중요성을 인지해야 함을 강조하였다. 그리고 구성원에게 신뢰받기 위해 노력하고, 그 효과를 향상시키기 위해 지녀야 할 리더의 신뢰성들을 이해하고 이를 활용할 필요가 있을 것을 제시하였다. Even with the rapid development of IT and the emergence of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the importance of human resources and human relations in the organization remain paramount. The nature of the relationship between a leader and the members of an organization is crucial to overall organizational performance. In particular, if the members trust their leader, organizational performance will be greatly improved. Trust in Leaders leads to collaborative relationships and better and more effective solutions when members are faced with uncertainty. This study emphasized the importance of trust in leaders and explains ways to improve it. We demonstrated the role and relevance of leader trustworthiness that are perceived by members as being those of leaders. First, we focus on leaders ability, integrity, and benevolence, three key factors through which members’ level of trust in their leader may be improved. Further, we explain the relationship between trust in a leader and organizational commitment. In addition, we also explained the roles of leader fairness and leader openness, factors that members perceive can have a moderating effect which increases the influence of trust in leaders and organizational commitment. It is established that a leader trustworthiness determine how much they are trusted as leaders, and that higher levels of trust in a leader can improve performance in areas such as organizational commitment. We conducted an empirical analysis of 213 employees in eight industries of state - owned enterprises in China. The results showed that a leaders ability, integrity, and benevolence, which were perceived as the characteristics of a leader by the members, could have a positive influence on levels of trust in leaders. In addition, trust in a leader had a significant mediating role in the relationship between these three factors and organizational commitment. Moreover, both leader fairness and leader openness have a positive moderating effect on the relationship between trust in a leader and organizational commitment. The results of this research suggested what characteristics a leader should possess in order to improve how much they are trusted in the context of state - owned enterprises in China. They also explain how to improve the effectiveness of trust in a leader. Leaders should be aware of the importance of trust for organizational performance and should strive to be trusted by organizational members. Further leaders, need to understand and use these characteristics to improve the effectiveness of trust. [그림 본문 참조]

        효소발효 백하수오의 고지혈증 흰쥐에 대한 지질대사 개선 효능 연구

        Objectives : The present study was conducted to examine whether Cynanchi wilfordii radix (CWR) with or without fermentation has an ameliorative effect on hyperlipidemia in rats. Methods : We analyzed the contents of Conduritol F on Cynanchi wilfordii radix. The experimental animals were divided into six groups; normal diet fed group (N), high cholesterol fed control group (Con), Lovastatin 20 mg/kg (L), CWR-W 300 mg/kg (CWR-W), and CWR-F 300 mg/kg on hyperlipidemia model induced by feeding 1.25% cholesterol. Rats were administrated orally every day for 8 weeks. And lipid profile of serum and weight change were observed. Results : The vehicle displayed a markedly increased body weight and significantly increased liver and epididymal fat weight, however, the administration of CWR improved the body, liver, and epididymal fat weights. All drug treatment reduced significantly the serum level of total cholesterol and LDL-cholesterol elevated by intake of high cholesterol diet. TG displayed a reducing tendency all drug treatment, however, CWR-W decreased significantly. Atherogenic index and cardiac risk factor increased high cholesterol diet fed control group, while the administration of CWR-W and CWR-F decreased significantly. The major index of liver injury such as AST and ALT improved in all drug treatment. Conclusions : These results suggest that CWR extended the effect of lipid enhanced. Therefore CWR with or without fermentation may be useful for therapeutic treatment of clinical conditions associated with hyperlipidemia. Finally, these require more investigations about the action mechanism of CWR in the future.

        리더의 목표지향성이 구성원의 목표지향성에 미치는 영향: 리더와 구성원 자기효능감의 조절효과

        목표지향성은 성취동기의 한 가지 요소로써 조직구성원의 행동과 성과에 영향을 미친다. 본 연구는 한국에 있는 기업의 직장인을 대상으로 조직 내 리더와 구성원의 수직적 관계에 있어서 리더의 목표지향성이 구성원의 목표지향성에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았고 또한 이런 관계에서 리더와 구성원의 자기효능감의 조절효과를 검증하였다. 실증분석을 위해 총 261부의 설문지를 사용하였으며 연구결과 리더의 목표지지향성은 구성원의 목표지향성에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 결과를 보여주었으며 조절효과 검증에 있어서 구성원의 자기효능감은 리더의 목표지향성과 구성원의 목표지향성 간의 관계에서 정(+)의 조절효과를 보여주었고 리더의 자기효능감은 리더의 목표지향성과 구성원의 목표지향성간의 관계에서 유의한 조절효과를 보여주지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 이 연구는 리더와 구성원 간의 상호작용의 중요성을 강조하며, 또한 구성원들이 목표지향성을 가지는 과정에서 구성원의 자기효능감의 중요성을 강조한다. Goal orientation is one of motivations for achievement and will impact on organizational member s behavior and performance. This study investigates the effect of the goal orientation of the leader on the members goal orientation in the vertical relationship between the leader and the members. In addition, this study also investigates the moderating effects of self-efficacy of leader and member. For examining hypotheses of this study, we conducted to survey the 261 employees in companies in Korea. According to the results of analysis, the goal orientation of the leader had a positive effect on the members goal orientation. For moderating effect, member s self-efficacy had a moderating effect between leader s goal orientation and organizational member s goal orientation. However, leader s self-efficacy had not moderating effect between leader s goal orientation and organizational member s goal orientation. This study emphasizes the interaction between leader and members, and also emphasizes the importance of self - efficacy of members in the process of goal orientation.

        한국에서 근무하는 중국인 근로자에 대한 사회적 지지가 생활만족도에 미치는 영향: 일-가정 갈등의 매개효과

        구성원들은 직장에서 받는 영향에 따라 가정에 대한 요구를 만족시키기가 쉽지 않고, 반대로 가정에서 요구하는 기대치와 직장에서 요구하는 기대치가 서로 다르기 때문에 이 두 요구를 동시에 만족시키기가 힘들다. 따라서 직장과 가족 간의 요구는 갈등 수준을 높여주면서 가정이나 조직에 불리한 영향을 미친다. 또한 일과 가정 사이에서의 양립적인 갈등은 구성원들의 생활만족 수준을 감소시킨다. 본 연구는 한국에서 근무하고 있는 중국인 노동자를 대상으로 그들이 겪고 있는 갈등 수준을 살펴보고 사회적 지원이 일-가정 갈등 수준과 생활만족도에 미치는 영향 측정 했으며 일-가정 갈등의 매개효과를 검증했다. 연구결과 사회적 지원의 세 가지 하위요인인 조직지원, 상사지원, 동료지원은 일-가정 갈등에 부정적인 영향을 미쳤고 생활만족도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 사회적 지원의 세 가지 하위요인인 일 가정 갈등은 조직지원, 상사지원, 동료지원과 생활만족도 간의 관계를 부분적으로 매개하는 효과를 나타냈다. 그래서 일-가정 갈등을 감소시키는 방안과 생활만족도를 향상시키는 방안을 도출한다. According to the influence from workplace, organizational members are difficult to satisfy the needs of family. On the other hand, it s also difficult to satisfy both needs, which are the need of workplace and the need of family, because the both level of needs are different. Therefore, the both needs could increase the conflict and negatively impact on families and organizations. In addition, such conflicts between workplace and family reduce employee s life satisfaction. This research examined the level of conflicts among Chinese employees who work in Korea and also examined the influences of social support on the work-family conflict and the level of life satisfaction. Furthermore, the research also examined the mediating effect of work-family conflict. The findings showed that the three antecedents of social support, which are organizational support, leader support, and coworker support had negative effects on work-family conflict and positive effects on life satisfaction. Also, work-family conflict partially mediated the relationship between the three antecedents of social supports and life satisfaction. Therefore, this research provides the method to reduce work-family conflict and the method to increase life satisfaction.
