The carbon spheres (CSs) synthesized by an ultrasonic-spray pyrolysis method were activated for supercapacitor electrode. There are plenty of cracks on the surface of the activated carbon spheres (ACSs), which expend with increasing the activation temperature and activator dosage. The specifc capacitance of ACSs increases with the activation temperature and activator dosage and reach to maximal value at certain conditions. Importantly, the ACS sample activated at relatively low activation temperature (600 °C) and 7 of mass ratio of KOH to CSs has the highest specifc capacitance (about 209 F g−1 at 50 mA g−1 of current density) and indicates the excellent cycling stability after 1000 consecutive charge–discharge cycles. Furthermore, the graphene sheets could be found in the samples that were activated at 1000 °C. And the electrode prepared by the sample has the very low series resistance because of the excellent conductivity of the formed graphene sheets.
Two New Species of Placolecis (Lichenized Ascomycota) from China

Two new species of the lichen genus Placolecis are discovered in China, namely P. kunmingensis An. C. Yin & Li S. Wang and P. sublaevis An. C. Yin & Li S. Wang. The new combination P. loekoesiana (S.Y. Kondr., Farkas, J.J. Woo & Hur) An. C. Yin is proposed. Placolecis kunmingensis is characterized by having simple, spherical or ellipsoid, hyaline spores, and pear-shaped pycnidia; while P. sublaevis can be distinguished by its thallus forming larger aggregations with slightly flattened lobes at the thallus margin, and urn-shaped pycnidia. Descriptions, a phylogenetic tree and a key are provided for all the known Placolecis species in China.
A Fuzzy C-Means Clustering Algorithm Based on Improved Quantum Genetic Algorithm

Aiming at the problem of traditional fuzzy C-means clustering algorithm that it is sensitive to the initial clustering centers and easy to fall into the local optimization, an improved algorithm that combines Improved Quantum Genetic Optimization with FCM algorithm is proposed. In this study, chromosomes are comprised of quantum bits encoded by real number. Chromosomes are renovated by quantum rotating gates and mutated by quantum hadamard gate. The gradients of object function are utilized in adjusting the value of rotating angle by a dynamic strategy. Each chain of genes represents a optimization result, Therefore, a double searching space is acquired for the same number of chromosomes. Experimental results show that the proposed method improves the stability and the accuracy of classification.

정보와 연금산업의 통합은 지역경제의 새로운 성장 동력으로 부각 되고 있다. 정보와 연금 산업을 통합하기 위해서는 융합 메커니즘을 분석하여 통합 수준을 과학적으로 측정을 할 필요가 있다. 본 연구의 연구방법은 연금산업의 범위가 광범위하여 산업정보를 수집하기 어렵기 때문에 회색관계분석(Grey Relational Analysis)을 활용하였다. 중국 한단시 2011∼2017년 통계연보를 바탕으로 8개 관련 업종을 선정하여 Excel 2016프로그램을 이용하였다. 연구 결과에 따르면, 중국 한단시 8개 관련 산업의 평균 통합 수준은 0.74913으로 이 중 정보산업과 연금산업은 0.64909로 7위로, 정보산업과 연금산업의 통합 수준이 낮아 지역 경제 성장을 저해할 가능성이 있다. 본 연구의 회색관계분석은 중국 내 정보산업과 연금산업의 통합수준이 확인되었으며, 아직 통합 초기 단계에 있다는 것을 보여주었다. 연구결과를 토대로 소비자·시장·기술 개선, 시스템 혁신 측면에서 산업통합의 발전을 앞당기기 위한 정책 대안도 제시했다. The integration of the information and the pension industry has become a new growth point for the regional economy of Handan City. When achieving deep integration, it is necessary to analyze the fusion mechanism and measure the level of integration accurately. Due to the full range of the pension industry and the lack of large-scale representative enterprises, comprehensive technical information collection is formidable. Therefore, the grey relational analysis method is selected to establish the fusion level measurement model. According to the 2011-2017 Statistical Yearbook of Handan city in China, eight related industries had been selected as a reference series. An Excel 2016 program calculation was to be used to complete the empirical research. According to the results, the average level of integration of 8 related industries of Handan city in China is 0.74913, of which the information industry and the pension industry are 0.64909, ranking seventh. The low level of integration between the information industry and the Pension industry is highly likely to impede regional economic growth. In this study, the Grey Relational Analysis showed that the level of integration between the information industry and the pension industry in China was identified and that it was still in the early stages of integration. It also presented policy alternatives to speed up the development of industry integration in terms of consumer, market and technological improvement, and system innovation.
Changes in Median Ages at Death from Selected Cancer Types in Relation to HLA-DRB1/DQB1

The median ages at death from cancers between 1985 and 2005 were calculated to demonstrate that inherent anticancer mechanisms may be a common pathway for different cancers. Seventy-eight patients with gastric, liver and lung cancers, were recruited in the solid cancer group. The leukemia group consisted of 31 patients with three main types of leukemia. The controls were 100 healthy individuals. The samples were typed using an HLA-DR/DQ PCR-SSP typing kit. The results showed that the median ages at death from all causes were 64.7 years in 1985 and 70.1 years in 2005. The range of the median ages at death from all cancers was similar to the corresponding value for deaths attributed to all causes. The frequency of $DRB1^*03$ was 9.6% in the solid cancer group and 3.0% in the control group (p<0.05). The frequency of $DRB1^*04$ in the leukemia group were significantly lower than that of the control (p<0.05). $DRB1^*13$ and $DRB1^*06$ frequencies in the leukemia group were significantly higher than those of the controls (p<0.05). It is suggested that inherent anti-cancer mechanisms may be a common pathway for different cancers and are associated with the immune system and HLA.
Identification of a Cancer Stem-like Population in the Lewis Lung Cancer Cell Line

Objective: Although various human cancer stem cells (CSCs) have been defined, their applications are restricted to immunocompromised models. Developing a novel CSC model which could be used in immunocompetent or transgenic mice is essential for further understanding of the biomolecular characteristics of tumor stem cells. Therefore, in this study, we analyzed murine lung cancer cells for the presence of CSCs. Methods: Side population (SP) cells were isolated by fluorescence activated cell sorting, followed by serum-free medium (SFM) culture, using Lewis lung carcinoma cell (LLC) line. The self-renewal, differentiated progeny, chemosensitivity, and tumorigenic properties in SP and non-SP cells were investigated through in vitro culture and in vivo serial transplantation. Differential expression profiles of stem cell markers were examined by RT-PCR. Results: The SP cell fraction comprised 1.1% of the total LLC population. SP cells were available to grow in SFM, and had significantly enhanced capacity for cell proliferation and colony formation. They were also more resistant to cisplatin in comparison to non-SP cells, and displayed increased tumorigenic ability. Moreover, SP cells showed higher mRNA expression of Oct-4, ABCG2, and CD44. Conclusion: We identified SP cells from a murine lung carcinoma, which possess well-known characteristics of CSCs. Our study established a useful model that should allow investigation of the biological features and pharmacosensitivity of lung CSCs, both in vitro and in syngeneic immunocompetent or transgenic/knockout mice.

The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of Pluronic F68 and Labrasol on the intestinal absorption and pharmacokinetics of rifampicin. Intestinal permeability of rifampicin with or without excipients was evaluated by an in situ single-pass perfusion method. A highperformance liquid chromatographic method was applied to study the pharmacokinetics of rifampicin with or without excipients. Labrasol or Pluronic F68 (0.1% and 0.05%, v/v), co-perfused with rifampicin (60 μg/mL), significantly increased in situ permeability. Similarly, verapamil (a typical P-gp inhibitor) also increased in situ permeability, but to a lesser extent. In vivo, the oral administration of rifampicin with or without Pluronic F68, Labrasol or verapamil resulted in statistically significant effect on t1/2 (4.83 to 7.75, 6.42 and 7.46 h) and total body clearance (0.46 to 0.26, 0.28, 0.24 L/h/kg). In addition, Pluronic F68, Labrasol and verapamil produced minor changes in AUC_0-t, which improved 1.55-, 1.54-, and 1.73-fold in comparison to control group, respectively. These results showed that Labrasol and Pluronic F68 might inhibit the function of P-gp in the intestine, thereby increasing intestinal absorption and changing the pharmacokinetic parameters of rifampicin. Therefore, excipient selection is an important factor to consider in rational formulation design.
Bi-dimensional Empirical Mode Decomposition Algorithm Based on Particle Swarm-Fractal Interpolation

Performance of the interpolation algorithm used in the technique of bi-dimensional empirical mode decomposition directly affects its popularization and application, so that the researchers pay more attention to the algorithm reasonable, accurate and fast. However, it has been a lack of an adaptive interpolation algorithm that is relatively satisfactory for the bi-dimensional empirical mode decomposition (BEMD) and is derived from the image characteristics. In view of this, this paper proposes an image interpolation algorithm based on the particle swarm and fractal. Its procedure includes: to analyze the given image by using the fractal brown function, to pick up the feature quantity from the image, and then to operate the adaptive image interpolation in terms of the obtained feature quantity. All parameters involved in the interpolation process are determined by using the particle swarm optimization algorithm. The presented interpolation algorithm can solve those problems of low efficiency and poor precision in the interpolation operation of bi-dimensional empirical mode decomposition and can also result in accurate and reliable bi-dimensional intrinsic modal functions with higher speed in the decomposition of the image. It lays the foundation for the further popularization and application of the bi-dimensional empirical mode decomposition algorithm.

RING-finger-containing E3 ubiquitin ligases play important roles in plant response to biotic and abiotoc stresses. In this study, through homology analysis, a Malus× domestica MYB30-Interacting E3 Ligase 1 gene, MdMIEL1, was identified and subsequently cloned from apple ‘Gala’ (Malus×domestica). MdMIEL1 contained a zinc finger domain close to N-terminus and a RING finger domain close to Cterminus. Expression of MdMIEL1 was significantly induced by NaCl and H2O2 treatments. Further study demonstrated that the MdMIEL1-overexpressing Arabidopsis and apple calli were less tolerance to salt stress than wild-type control. In addition, transgenic plants had higher levels of reactive oxygen species (ROS) (H2O2 and O2 –). And transgenic Arabidopsis and apple calli exhibited more sensitive phenotype to H2O2 treatment, which was associated with increased levels of ROS. These findings indicate MdMIEL1 is an important regulator involved in plant response to salt and oxidative stresses tolerance.

Purpose: To investigate short-term response rate, quality of life and toxicities of mannan peptide combined with TP regimen in treating patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Patients and Methods: Forty one patients with NSCLC were divided into an experimental group treated with TP regimen combined with mannan peptide (21 patients) and a control group treated with TP alone (20 patients). Results: Response rates were 61.9% (13/21) for the experimental and 60% (12/20) for the control group (p>0.05). Regarding toxicity, white blood cell decreased more frequently in the control group (65%, 13/20) than in the experimental group (33.3%, 7/21) (p<0.05); nausea and vomiting also occurred more frequently in the control group (55%, 11/20 vs 23.8%, 5/21) (p<0.05). In terms of quality of life, this index was improved by 57.1% (12/21) and 25% (5/20) in experimental and control groups, respectively (p<0.05). Conclusions: Response rate of TP after combined with mannan peptide is mildly increased, while this combination alleviates bone marrow suppression as well as nausea and vomiting of TP, and improves quality of life when treating patients with NSCLC. However, this conclusion should be confirmed by randomized clinical trails.
