        Global Fixed-time Stabilization for Chained Nonholonomic Systems via Output Feedback Control

        This paper studies the fixed-time output feedback stabilization problem for chained nonholonomic systems. By applying the switching control and bi-limit homogeneous techniques, it is firstly constructed two fixedtime state feedback stabilizing controllers for the considered systems. Then, a new state observer with a formalized switching law is proposed to fixed-time estimate system states, whose high-order terms are applied to get uniform convergence regardless of initial conditions and low-order terms are aimed to the exact convergence in finite time. Finally, based on the bi-limit homogeneous technique and Lyapunov stability theorem, fixed-time output feedback stabilizing controllers, one of which is discontinuous with a specific switching control law and the other is continuous, are constructed and the fixed-time output feedback stabilization of the considered systems is thus guaranteed. An example is presented to show the feasibility of the proposed control strategy.

        조선반도 전략적 딜레마 :특징, 형성원인과 돌파구

        현재 조선반도는 안보와 외교 2중 딜레마에 빠져 있다. 2008 년 이래 글로벌 금융위기 발생, 조선정치 일정변화로 인한 동아시아 권력구조변화, 한미 전략목표와 정책조정으로 인해 딜레마조건이 형성되었다. 약 10년에 가까운 이 시간이 지난 후 관련 국가는 미국정부의 ‘동아시아 회구’전략이 동북아시아에 대한 안보영향, 조선체제안정, 2중 딜레마로 인해 안보문제 등 3가지 문제에 대해 공감기반이 형성되어야 현재 난항을 극복할 수 있고 돌파구를 찾을 수 있다고 생각한다. 균형 그리고 전면인 시작에서 바라볼 때 중국이 제시한 ‘쌍중단’과 ‘쌍궤병행’은 각측 관심사에 대한 실현 가능한 솔루션이다. Currently, the Korean peninsula is in a dual dilemma of security and diplomacy. The dual dilemma is caused by the global financial crisis since 2008, changes in the structure of East Asian power due to changes in North Korean domestic politics, and readjustment of Korea-U.S. strategic goals and policy coordination. In the future, the related countries should form a bond of sympathy for the three issues that are the security effects of U.S. "Pivot to Asia" strategy toward Northeast Asia, the stability of the North Korean regime, and the security problems caused by the double dilemma in order for overcoming current difficulties and seeking breakthroughs. From a balanced and comprehensive perspective, the "double suspension" and "double-track integration" proposed by China can be a solution that takes into consideration the concerns of all parties and has a realistic and practical purpose.

        Reliability and Validity of Chinese Version of the Perceived Competence Scale for Disaster Mental Health Workforce: A Cross-Sectional Study

        Objective This study aimed to translate the English version of the Perceived Competence Scale for Disaster Mental Health Workforce (PCS-DMHW) into Chinese, and to test its reliability and validity in Chinese mental health workers.Methods With the consent of Professor Choi, Keimyung University, Korea, and the authorization of the scale, the English version of PCS-DMHW was translated, retranslated and culturally debugged to form the Chinese version of PCS-DMHW. The general information questionnaire and the Chinese version of PCS-DMHW scale were used to investigate 706 mental health workforce from 9 tertiary hospitals in Sichuan province in China from March 24, 2020 to April 14, 2020. The Cronbach’s α coefficient was used to evaluate the internal consistency reliability of the scale, and the test-retest correlation coefficient r was used to evaluate the test-retest reliability of the scale. The content validity indexes (CVI) and exploratory factor analysis (EFA) was used separately for evaluating the content validity and structure validity of the scale.Results The Cronbach’s α coefficient of the Chinese version of PCS-DMHW total scale, individual competences and organizational competences subscale was 0.978, 0.956, and 0.964, respectively. The test-retest reliability of the total scale, individual competences and organizational competences subscale was 0.949, 0.932 and 0.927, respectively. The item-level CVI of all scale were ranged from 0.833-1.000, the scale-level CVI (S-CVI)/universal agreement of the total scale, individual competences and organizational competences subscale was 0.833, 0.875, and 0.857, respectively, and the S-CVI/average was 0.972, 0.979, and 0.976, respectively. EFA showed that two principal components were extracted from the subscale of individual competences and organizational competences.Conclusion The Chinese version of PCS-DMHW has good reliability and validity, and can be widely used in China.

        Sex difference of autosomal alleles in populations of European and African descent

        In the present study, we aimed to report the individual sex-different genetic markers across autosomes in European- and African-origin populations. A total of 8400 females and 8081 males in 19 independent cohorts were genotyped across genomes using Illumina or Affymetrix arrays. The allele frequencies were compared between females and males in nine non-clean cohorts (with some human disease traits) using genome-wide logistic regression and then the nominally significant associations were replicated across 10 clean cohorts (without disease traits). Meta-analysis was performed to derive the combined p values across all cohorts. We found 13 markers that were genome-wide significant (p B 5 9 10-8) between females and males in the meta-analysis of all cohorts of European descent, including rs7740449 at SYNE1, rs7531151 at PLD5, rs697455 at PPP1R12B, rs6745746 at LOC100128413, rs17000079 at PARM1, rs11948070 at PDE4D, rs7801825 at INSIG1, rs9551642 at MTUS2, rs2932174 at TPTE2, rs1961597 at SALL3, rs4117529 at METTL4, rs6021473 at SALL4 and rs6092466 at RAE1, and one marker, i.e., rs10145208 at PCNX, that was genomewide significant in the meta-analysis of all cohorts of African descent. The most robust finding was rs7740449 at SYNE1, next to ESR1. We conclude that there are many sex-different markers on autosomes. These markers may be informative in differentiating females and males.

        Theoretical and experimental studies on the hydrodynamic damping of elastic rotating propeller blades

        The hydrodynamic damping characteristics of elastic rotating propeller blades are investigated theoretically and experimentally. Firstly, the modal hydrodynamic damping ratio of propeller blade rotating in water is theoretically predicted based on the cantilever plate theory. Then, a series of tests are designed to determine the mechanical, acoustic radiation and hydrodynamic damping of the first-order bending mode of the rotating blade. During the hydrodynamic damping test, the bending vibration of the blade is excited by the rotation-induced turbulence and measured by two strain gauges attached to the blade root. The results show that the theoretical prediction is in good agreement with the experimental results. The hydrodynamic damping increases linearly with the rotational speed of the propeller. Theoretical analysis also shows that the modal hydrodynamic damping ratio of the first-order bending mode is much larger than that of higher-order bending modes. The hydrodynamic damping decays exponentially with the increase of frequency ratio while increases slightly with the increase of propeller advance ratio which represents the ratio of free stream fluid speed to the propeller tip speed.

        Novel steel wheel design based on multi-objective topology optimization

        This paper aims to propose a multi-objective topology optimization methodology for steel wheel, in which both the compliance andeigenfrequencies are regarded as static and dynamic optimization objectives. Compromise programming method is employed to definethe objectives of multi-objective and multi-stiffness topology optimizations, whereas mean-frequency formulation is adopted to settleeigenfrequencies of free vibration optimization. To obtain a clear and useful topology optimization result, cyclical symmetry and manufacturingconstraints are set, the influences of which on the outcomes are also discussed. With an appropriate value of the minimummember size, a rough topology optimization of the steel wheel is obtained. The optimization result is modified according to the actualstructure and manufacturing process. Moreover, based on this result, eight different steel wheel modes are established to analyze the influenceof the manufacturing process and draw beads on the wheel performance through finite element simulation. Simulation results areverified by conducting a stress test of a commercially available wheel. Compared with its initial design, the optimized wheel disc exhibiteddecreased mass at 0.15 Kg at percentage of 4.57%, manifesting the effectiveness of the proposed method.

        Output Feedback Stabilization for a Class of Cascade Nonlinear ODEPDE Systems

        In this paper, the output feedback stabilization problem is studied for a class of cascade nonlinear ODEPDE systems. The nonlinear terms of ODE-subsystem are assumed to be bounded by a known constant multiplied by unmeasured states, and PDE-subsystem is a diffusion equation. Especially, the unstable diffusion equation is considered. Based on the low gain observer and a series of transformations, the output feedback stabilization problem is converted into designing proper gain parameters. Furthermore, the stability of the closed-loop system is analyzed by Lyapunov theorem. Finally, two numerical examples are given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed control strategy.

        Long noncoding RNA DANCR promotes colorectal cancer proliferation and metastasis via miR-577 sponging

        Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) play key roles in various malignant tumors, including colorectal cancer (CRC). Long non-coding RNA differentiation antagonizing non-protein coding RNA (DANCR) is overexpressed in CRC patients, but whether it affects CRC proliferation and metastasis via regulation of heat shock protein 27 (HSP27) remains unclear. In the present study, we found that DANCR was highly expressed and correlated with proliferation and metastasis in CRC. In addition, we demonstrated that DANCR and HSP27 were both targets of microRNA-577 (miR-577) and shared the same binding site. Furthermore, we revealed that DANCR promoted HSP27 expression and its mediation of proliferation/metastasis via miR-577 sponging. Finally, using an in vivo study, we confirmed that overexpression of DANCR promoted CRC tumor growth and liver metastasis. The present study demonstrated the function of DANCR in CRC and might provide a new target in the treatment of CRC.
