The filtering fault detection problem for asynchronous switched discrete-time linear systems with modedependent average dwell time (MDADT) is investigated in this paper. A series of mode-dependent fault detection filters are designed with respect to each subsystem and are equipped with the switched system to obtain an augmented switched system. For the fact that the switching of the filter lags behind that of the subsystem frequently in actual situations, the resulting augmented switched system is consequently converted into an asynchronous augmented switched system. To guarantee the globally uniformly exponentially stability (GUES) and the H_/H∞ performance of the asynchronousfiltering fault detection system, multiple Lyapunov functional and MDADT techniques are then used. The starting instants set of the subsystem is proposed to make it more convenient to apply the MDADT technique. The sufficient conditions for the existence of the designed filter and stability of asynchronous augmented switched systems are given in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed methodology is demonstrated by two examples.

Highly efficient and ultrastable nonprecious metal-based electrocatalysts are promising alternatives toplatinum (Pt)-based catalysts in electrocatalyzing oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) process. In thepresent work, nitrogen and sulfur dual-doped hierarchically porous carbon with trapped Mn species(MnNSC-950) was fabricated, which integrates the modulation of the electronic structure for boostedintrinsic activity with the engineering of hierarchical porosity for enriched active sites. The MnNSC-950shows a positive onset potential of 0.95 V and a large limiting current density of 5.4 mA cm 2, which canrival that of the commercial Pt/C catalyst in 0.1 M KOH, together with a robust long-term stability. Moreover, the MnNSC-950 as ORR catalyst in Zn-air battery achieves a high power density of107 mW cm 2 and robust cycling performance over 150 h, exceeding that driven by Pt/C cathode. Theexcellent electrochemical performance is also shown in both neutral and acidic media. This workprovides an enabling route to prepare non-noble metal-based catalysts featuring well-engineeredgeometric and component peculiarities for practical application of energy conversion systems.

Background/Aims: Upregulated CD64 expression on neutrophils is the most useful marker for acute bacterial infections and systemic inflammation. However, it is unknown whether CD64 is involved in the pathogenesis of acute pancreatitis (AP). This study was designed to determine whether CD64 is implicated in severe acute pancreatitis (SAP), and thus, is a suitable marker for SAP. Methods: SAP was induced in rats with an intraperitoneal injection of L-arginine. CD64 expression in the rat pancreas was determined by quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR) and immunohistochemistry. Additionally, the CD64 mRNA expression in peripheral blood leukocytes from 21 patients with mild acute pancreatitis (MAP) and 10 patients with SAP was investigated at the time of admission and during remission by qRT-PCR. Results: CD64 mRNA and protein expression in the pancreas was significantly higher in rats with SAP, compared to the controls. The CD64 expression was higher in the patients with SAP than in the patients with MAP. During remission, CD64 mRNA decreased in both the MAP and SAP patients. The area under the curve of CD64 expression for the detection of SAP was superior to both the Ranson and the Acute Physiology and Chronic Health Evaluation II scores. Conclusions: The CD64 level was significantly increased in correlation with the disease severity in SAP and may act as a useful marker for predicting the development of SAP. Experimental Investigation of R(ω), T(ω) and L(ω) for Multi-Layer SRRs and Wires Metamaterials
Hao Luo,Xian Wang,Zhangqi Liao,Tao Wang,Rongzhou Gong 한국전자파학회JEES 2010 Journal of Electromagnetic Engineering and Science Vol.10 No.3
Reflection(R(ω)), transmission(T(ω)) and loss(L(ω)) characteristics of multi-layer metamaterials are investigated experimentally in free space with the incident EM waves perpendicular to the substrate plane. The sample is made of split-ring resonators(SRRs) and wires which are the typical model of metamaterials. The R(ω) and T(ω) of multi-layer metamaterials have been calculated from the measured S-parameters. In this paper, we got the impedancematched result according to the curves of R(ω), meanwhile the T(ω) decreased with increasing number of layers. At last, we attained the result that the L(ω) gets to nearly 98% around 8 ㎓, with R(ω)=T(ω)=0. The design presented in this paper achieves experimented loss near unity.
Modeling and Simulation of the Magnetic Method for High Voltage Direct Current Inspection Robot
Xian-jin Xu,Cheng-hui Liu,Yu Yan,Hao-da Chen,Lei Fang,Yun-long Wang,Long-hui Wu 한국자기학회 2018 Journal of Magnetics Vol.23 No.3
In order to solve the slipping problem of a two-arm-wheel combined inspection robot, a maglev system based on the magnetic field of a high voltage direct current (HVDC) is proposed. The magnetic system comprises of two parts: a magnetic levitation system and a magnetic drive system. The levitation component overcomes the gravity of the robot by the Ampere force generated by current-carrying coils in the magnetic field of HVDC. The drive component utilizes the Ampere force generated by current-carrying coils in the magnetic field of HVDC as the driving force. Simulation results of the model are compared with the calculated values. The results show that the magnetic levitation method and the magnetic drive method are theoretically feasible, and the model is accurate and effective, which is of great practical significance to the physical realization of the inspection robot.

Two novel binuclear metal-organic coordination complexes $[Cd_2(L)_2(bpy)_2(H_2O)_2]{\cdot}6H_2O$ (1), $[Cd_2(L)_2(phen)_2-(H_2O)_2]{\cdot}2H_2O$ (2) (where L = 2-methylquinoline-3,4-dicarboxylate dianion, bpy = 2,2'-bipyridine, phen = 1,10-phenanthroline) have been synthesized under hydrothermal conditions and characterized by single crystal Xray diffraction, spectral method (IR), elemental analysis and thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA). Both 1 and 2 consist of two Cd(II) atoms bridged by two monoatomic bridging carboxylate groups from two L ligands, and the second carboxylate group of each L is monodentately coordinated to Cd(II), creating a sevenmembered chelating ring. The coordination at each metal nucleus is completed by a water molecule and a chelating bidentate molecule. The 3D structures of the complexes are stabilized by ${\pi}-{\pi}$ stacking interactions and hydrogen-bonds.

Cleft palate is one of the most common congenital malformations of the oral and maxillofacial region, with an incidence rate of around 0.1%. Early surgical repair is the only method for treatment of a cleft lip and palate. However, because of the use of inhalation anesthesia in children and the physiological characteristics of the cleft palate itself combined with the particularities of cleft palate surgery, the incidence rate of postoperative emergence agitation (EA) in cleft palate surgery is significantly higher than in other types of interventions. The exact mechanism of EA is still unclear. Although restlessness after general anesthesia in children with cleft palate is self-limiting, its effects should be considered by clinicians. In this paper, the related literature on restlessness after surgery involving general anesthesia in recent years is summarized. This paper focuses on induction factors as well as prevention and treatment of postoperative restlessness in children with cleft palate after general anesthesia. The corresponding countermeasures to guide clinical practice are also presented in this paper.
