Open reading frame 4 of Bombyx mori nucleopolyhedrovirus (BmNPV), designated as Bm4, is a gene whose function is completely unknown. With the recently developed BmNPV bacmid and a modified pFastBac1 whose polyhedrin promoter was replaced with ie1 promoter, a recombinant bacmid expressing Bm4-EGFP fusion protein under the control of ie1 promoter in BmN cells was successfully constructed. The result not only showed that the polyhedrin promoter can be replaced efficiently with other promoters to direct the expression of foreign gene in BmN cells by using Bac-to-Bac/BmNPV baculovirus expression system but also laid the foundation for rescue experiment of Bm4 deletion mutant due to the ability of ie1 promoter to direct gene expression throughout the infection cycle.
Finite non-nilpotent generalizations of Hamiltonian groups

In J. Korean Math. Soc, Zhang, Xu and other authors investigated the following problem: what is the structure of finite groups which have many normal subgroups? In this paper, we shall study this question in a more general way. For a finite group G, we define the subgroup A(G) to be intersection of the normalizers of all non-cyclic subgroups of G. Set A_0=1. Define A_(i+1)(G)/A_i(G)=A(G/A_i(G)) for i≥1. By A_∞(G) denote the terminal term of the ascending series. It is proved that if G=A_∞(G), then the derived subgroup G' is nilpotent. Furthermore, if all elements of prime order or order 4 of G are in A(G), then G' is also nilpotent.
A CHARACTERIZATION OF SOME PGL(2, q) BY MAXIMUM ELEMENT ORDERS

In this paper, we characterize some PGL(2, q) by their orders and maximum element orders. We also prove that PSL(2, p) with p ≥ 3 a prime can be determined by their orders and maximum element orders. Moreover, we show that, in general, if q = pn with p a prime and n > 1, PGL(2, q) can not be uniquely determined by their orders and maximum element orders. Several known results are generalized.
First‑Principles Study on Stacking Fault Energy of γ‑Fe–Mn Alloys

The ground state properties and generalized stacking fault energy (GSFE) of γ-Fe–Mn alloys with different Mn concentrationsare calculated by ab initio simulation. The calculation results of intrinsic stacking fault energies (ISFE) show that Mn atomshave a significant short-range effect on the ISFE; the parabolic relationship between ISFE and Mn atom concentration ofantiferromagnetic (AFM) Fe–Mn alloys is explained by the cohesive energy and density of states (DOS) of the alloys. AFMincreases ISFE of γ-Fe–Mn alloys compared to non-magnetic (NM). The importance of considering magnetic interactionsin ISFE of γ-Fe–Mn alloys is proven and it is very significant to study the deformation behavior of medium manganese steel.

In this paper, we prove a criterion of conjugacy separability of generalized free products of polycyclic-by-finite groups with a non-cyclic amalgamated subgroup. Applying this criterion,we prove that certain generalized free products of polycyclic-by-finite groups are conjugacy separable.
Optimization of a twin-skeg container vessel by parametric design and CFD simulations

The model tests results for the original lines of an 10000TEU container vessel show that the delivered power is higher and could not satisfy the requirement of energy saving effects and design targets. In this paper, the lines optimization of the 10,000 twin-skeg container vessel was carried out by parametric modeling and CFD simulations. At first, the CFD methods for twin-skeg hull form were validated by the comparison with the experimental results. Then more than one hundred parameters were adopted for the establishment of the fully parametric model. Based on the parametric model of the twin-skeg container vessel, the preliminary optimization was carried out by tight coupling of FRIENDSHIPFRAMEWORK with potential flow of SHIPFLOW. Then several important parameters related to the after part of twin-skeg vessel were investigated by viscous flow computation. The final optimized variant PM11, which the total resistance was reduced by about 8.3% in model scale, is obtained within the constraints of general arrangement. And the model tests for variant PM11 was carried out in CSSRC, which shows that the resistance of optimized variant PM11 is decreased by about 8.6%.

A Markov decision process model with two stages of long-distance autonomous guidance and short-distance autonomous tracking of obstacle avoidance was developed in this study, aiming to address the performance problem of multi-rotor unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) to ground dynamic target. On this basis, an improved proximal policy optimization (PPO) algorithm is proposed. The proposed algorithm uses long short-term memory (LSTM) network to calculate reward values, update network parameters and perform adaptive optimization iterations through status information, such as the real-time position relationship between the UAV and the target, taking into account the time-sequential data received from the UAV and the environmental context information. Finally, experiment with simulation testing was performed on platform based robot control system species. The results showed that the method proposed in this paper is able to safely and effectively realize autonomous maneuvering during the entire process of the reconnaissance mission. Compared with the traditional PPO algorithm, the introduction of LSTM neural network shortened the model training time, considerably improved the efficiency of tracking and avoiding obstacles, as well as further strengthened the robustness, accuracy, and real-time ability of the algorithm.
