Mn-deprived Phase Transformation in High-Mn Steel during the Dew-point Control Process
Hong, Woong-Pyo,Baik, Sung-Il,Kim, Gyo-Sung,Jeon, Sun-Ho,Chin, Kwang-Guen,Oh, Chang-Seok,Kim, Young-Woon Korean Society of Microscopy 2013 Applied microscopy Vol.43 No.1
Phase transformation by the Mn-deprivation was observed in the high-Mn twinning-induced plasticity-aided steel. Mn-depletion was induced by the formation of Mn-O oxide during the dew-point control process at temperature above $-20^{\circ}C$, which changed austenitic parent phase to multi-grained ferrite. Mixture of Al-O, Al-Mn-Si-O oxides were observed at the grain boundaries of transformed ferrite.

Airplane reservoirs made of Al7075 are coated with an anodizing layer to maintain precision, air tightness and corrosion resistance. It is commonly required that the inner surface roughness of the reservoir be less than an average 0.2㎛ to maintain stable oil pressure. Even though precision polishing is necessary to achieve this quality it is not easy. Inner surface roughness is not uniform and the quality of the product is irregular because most of the work is done by hand. The purpose of this study is to design an exclusive polishing machine and to determine the standard cutting condition and polishing condition necessary for good inner surface roughness and to improve workefficiency.

Tuberculosis of parotid gland is extremely rare, even in countries where tuberculosis is endemic. It can occur by systemic dissemination from a distant focus or as primary involvement. Because of the clinical and radiological similarity, parotid tumor and parotid inflammatory disease take priority over the tuberculosis of parotid when it comes to differential diagnosis. As a result, clinicians often fail to make a timely diagnosis of tuberculosis of parotid gland in patient with a slowly growing parotid mass. However, its treatment is primarily medical if the positive diagnosis is well established. We have recently experienced a case of tuberculosis of parotid gland that was considered as the benign tumor preoperatively, but which was confirmed as tuberculosis of parotid gland after extracapsular dissection. We report it with a review of literature.
