The influence of reactant gas composition on the rate of the water gas shift reaction over an iron oxide chromirum oxide catalyst was studied. This method of analyzing experimental tests showed that the rate of initial reaction of the water gas shift reac tion had increased with increasing P_(H_2O), but that had decreased with increasing P_(CO_2). It was found that the mass tranfer affect the rate of the water gas shift reaction except catalyst system. And this experimental results showed that the rate of reaction had increased with increasing P_(CO_2) and P_(H_2O). At this experimental condition, the rate of initial reaction was established γ_0=kP_(CO_2) P_(H_2O)/1+K_(H_2O) P_(H_2O) and the reaction rate constant, K, 225(m㏖/g-cat. hr) and K_(H_2O) is 3.5(atm)^-1.

유아기는 신체적. 정신적으로 왕성하게 성장 발달하는 중요한 시기이며, 생애초기 운동경험이야 말로 유아기 건강한 성장과 발달뿐만 아니라 평생 건강한 삶을 유지할 수 있는 기반이다. 이에 본 연구는 유아기 신체활동을 활성화시키고 운동 횟수를 증가 시킬 수 있는 방안으로 방과후 학교 프로그램 중 신체활동의 적극적인 참여와 활성화에 기여할 수 있는 방안을 모색하는 데 목적이 있다. 방과후 학교 운동 프로그램 활성화 방안으로 첫째, 중앙정부와 지방자치단체에서 적극적인 행정적 지원과 재원학보를 위한 제도적 장치 마련. 둘째, 방과후 운동 프로그램 개발과 운영을 위한 지원 시스템 마련(위탁운영, 저소득층과 농어촌 지역 운동 프로그램, 학년별. 수준별. 통합교과적인 프로그램, 강사 풀 인력망 시스템 구축과 우수한 교사 확보 및 국제적인 교류사업과 국가의 대대적인 방과후 운동 프로그램 홍보) 등이 중요한 방안이라 할 수 있다. 또한 방과후 학교 운동 프로그램 활성화를 위하여 한국유아체육학회의 적극적인 대안 마련과 참여가 절실히 요구된다. Childhood is a crucial period for both mental and physical development of human beings. Physical activity traits obtained in early years are critical for physical growth of children and a foundation of maintaining healthy life styles over their lives. This study was designed to find effective ways in increasing children`s physical activities by facilitating after-school programs To facilitate children`s physical activities through after-school programs, 1) Build up a proactive system to obtain financial and administrative supports from the Central and Local Governments/branches, and 2) Establish a supporting system which can develop and manage after-school physical activity programs (party management, programs for low-income and rural area families, integrated programs by grades and by levels. full network of teachers, hiring well qualified teachers, international exchanges and P.R of after-school programs). Also to promote after-school physical activity programs, active supports and actions plans of Korean Youth Physical Education Association are strongly required.
A BINARY OBSERVING PROJECT ON THE NCUO SPECKLE INTERFEROMETER

Speckle Interferometer equipped with an ITT intensified CCD have been used on the NCUO ( National Central University Observatory, Taiwan) 24-inch telescope for studying the orbits of bright binary systems selected from the Yale's Bright Star Catalogue. The high resolution and high sensitivity ITT intensified solid state video camera ( F4577 ) has external gain and gate control functions which will simplify the design of the speckle camera and allow us to do precise speckle photometry. The goal of this project is trying to study the bright binary systems with separations between the average size of seeing disk and the diffraction limit of the 24-inch telescope. Recently some observing data have been reduced and compared with the other teams' results. We are now improving the data reduction technology and trying to use real time observing mode on the monthly routine observation.
Predicting cutting forces in face milling with the orthogonal machining theory

This paper presents an effective cutting force model that enables us to predict the instantaneous cutting force in face milling from knowledge of the work material properties and the cutting conditions. The development of the model is based on the orthogonal machining theory with the effective rake angle, which is defined in the plane containing the cutting velocity vector and the chip flow vector. Face milling tests are performed at different feeds and, a fairly good agreement is shown between the predicted cutting forces and the test results.
