The modern stage of society's development is characterized by the rapid penetration of information technologies into all spheres of life. Their use contributes to improving the quality of tourism services, as well as the competitiveness of tourism industry enterprises. The role of information technology in tourism is growing more and more every year, which determines the relevance of the study of modern trends in the use of information technology in the tourism sector. The purpose of the study is to determine the possibilities of using information technologies to improve the quality of services provided to the tourism industry under the COVID-19 restrictions. The article systematizes the main approaches to the "cluster" category and provides an original definition of the "regional tourist cluster" concept. Based on an expert survey, the main trends in the introduction of information technologies in the tourism industry under the COVID-19 restrictions have been identified, which include virtual reality and augmented reality, speech recognition technologies, photo, video, audio (contactless control technologies), mobile IT applications and Big Data technologies. It has been concluded that the vast majority of improvements in the organization of tourism services under restrictions will be based on the organization of virtual solutions and online activities. The types of tourism services will also change, and information technology will help their development and dissemination.

Xanthan gum (XG) is an important industrial microbial exopolysaccharide. It has found applications in various industries, such as pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, paints and coatings, and wastewater treatment, but especially in the food industry. The thickening and stabilizing properties of XG make it a valuable ingredient in many food products. This review presents a comprehensive overview of the various potential applications of this versatile ingredient in the food industry. Especially in the plant-based food industries due to current interest of consumers in cheaper protein sources and health purposes. However, challenges and opportunities also exist, and this review aims to identify and explore these issues in greater detail. Overall, this article represents a valuable contribution to the scientific understanding of XG and its potential applications in the food industry.
Innovative Approaches to Business Managing Functional Areas in a Territory
Boris Sultanovich Kasaev,Maria Vladimirovna Petrovskaya,Murat Borisovich Kasaev 대한산업공학회 2019 Industrial Engineeering & Management Systems Vol.18 No.3
Information support for organization and management of functional areas in a territory has been considered from the standpoint of innovation. Adequacy and proximity of territorial life activity perspectives based on interaction of its functional areas to the perspectives and concepts of spatial economics has been shown. Based on the requirements of a system approach, a set of structures that determine the operation of social and business areas in a territory has been considered; management of a social and business area in a territory is presented as an act of impact on facilities in the functional areas of a territory for the purpose of changing their operational format and can thereby selectively affect each of six parameters and current characteristics of a model reflecting the state of functional areas in a territory that are listed in the paper below. The work also justifies an approach to implementing a distributed information system to support processes through the case study of a control area, a functional agricultural area in a territory, which uses Blockchain technology for gathering, processing, storage, organization and management of key data about each product through the example of products in the functional agricultural area of the territory during their life cycles.
Pulps isolated from Miscanthus, oat hulls, and intermediate flax straw with sodium benzoate
Marina Nikolayevna Denisova,Vera Vladimirovna Budaeva,Igor Nikolayevich Pavlov 한국화학공학회 2015 Korean Journal of Chemical Engineering Vol.32 No.2
To explore the susceptibility of herbaceous plants to delignification with hydrotropic liquors, the pulping ofMiscanthus, oat hulls, and intermediate flax straw was performed with a concentrated sodium benzoate solution. Themain characteristics of pulp samples derived hydrotropically from Miscanthus, oat hulls, and intermediate flax straw aregiven. Miscanthus was found to be more susceptible to delignification, with a pulp yield of 45% and lignin content of7%. For oat hulls, the pulp yield is 31% and lignin content 9%. The cooking of intermediate flax straw affords a pulp in51% yield but the lignin content is as high as 17%; further studies are needed. The pulps obtained from Miscanthus andoat hulls were confirmed by infrared spectroscopy.

It is relevant and timely for the existence and prosperity of today's tourism to build up a stock of new abilities and a set of innovations. At present, the tourism industry is experiencing a new stage in its digital transformation. The newest technologies, which are now spreading en masse and one of which is rightfully considered to be blockchain technology, enable tourists to receive tourist services directly from the producers, which not only gives the consumer the opportunity to enjoy higher quality and inexpensive products but also increases the responsibility of the producer. The article analyzes research literature on the possibility of using blockchain technology in the tourism industry. Based on an expert survey, the main problems, prospects, and advantages of the implementation of blockchain technology in the tourism industry are identified. The paper proposes and analyzes an option for the use of blockchain technology on the basis of a blockchain project with a mobile app for users and a dedicated website and public API for travel service providers.

Ngakan Ketut Acwin Dwijendra,Irina Vaslavskaya,Natalia Vladimirovna Skvortsova,Tatyana Pavlovna Rakhlis,Untung Rahardja,Muneam Hussein Ali,A. Heri Iswanto,Lakshmi Thangavelu,Mustafa M. Kadhim 대한산업공학회 2022 Industrial Engineeering & Management Systems Vol.21 No.2
This paper investigates the 224 active fuel stations to find thee optimal distribution system. This research aims to de-sign a model based on simulation to optimize the queuing system and fuel station sales. This study combines simula-tions and experimental design techniques that lead to a predictable and experimental model for optimizing the system and performance of a fuel station by considering two perspectives of queue length and sales rate. Initially, the fuel station was simulated using Arena software. After simulating the fuel station system, we tried to optimize the station's performance using the design of experiments and response level methodology (RSM). The results obtained from the optimal model indicate that the results lead to improved system performance. The fuel station queue is studied

Today, reverse logistics networks are increasingly expanding in various industries due to considering parameters such as environmental conditions, customer awareness, economic savings, social responsibilities, and gaining points such as customer loyalty. In the design of the reverse logistics network, the options of taking parts, repair, recycling, re-production, and disposal can be considered. In this research, an integrated forward/reverse logistics network is mod-eled and an attempt is made to provide a general model and by adding the recycling option to the previous models, to a more general optimization model that includes more recovery options. It is achieved and the network should be optimized in the forward and reverse mode at the same time, taking into account the production of various products, first with the assumption of known demand and return, and then by fuzzing the parameters with uncertainty, as well as the limited capacities of the network centers. To defuzzification of this model, a method based on alpha cut is used for cost coefficients of decision variables and the center of mass method for demand and fuzzy return in the objective function. In fuzzy limits, a method based on the comparison of fuzzy numbers is used. In order to show the application of the Mixed Integer Linear Programming results, several examples have been simulated and coded in GAMS software to obtain accurate answers. In order to solve the model in large dimensions of the problem, a multi-objective genetic algorithm has been developed and coded by MATLAB software. The results of solving the examples in both cases, the exact and near-optimal solutions obtained from the genetic algorithm, have been compared and at the end, the sensitivity analysis of the network has been done. The obtained results show that considering imprecise parameters in a fuzzy manner, firstly, a more realistic model is obtained. Secondly, in examining the answer, due to their connection, the decision maker has unlimited options for the correct decision according to the existing conditions.
