        R-to-R Extraction and Preprocessing Procedure for an Automated Diagnosis of Various Diseases from ECG Data

        In this paper, we propose a method to automatically diagnose various diseases. The input data consists of electrocardiograph (ECG) recordings. We extract R-to-R interval (RRI) signals from ECG recordings, which are preprocessed to remove trends and ectopic beats, and to keep the signal stationary. After that, we perform some prospective analysis to extract time-domain parameters, frequency-domain parameters, and nonlinear parameters of the signal. Those parameters are unique for each disease and can be used as the statistical symptoms for each disease. Then, we perform feature selection to improve the performance of the diagnosis classifier. We utilize the selected features to diagnose various diseases using machine learning. We subsequently measure the performance of the machine learning classifier to make sure that it will not misdiagnose the diseases. The first two steps, which are R-to-R extraction and preprocessing, have been successfully implemented with satisfactory results.

        Adsorption of metal ions with biochars derived from biomass wastes in a fixed column: Adsorption isotherm and process simulation

        Biochars were derived from wood and water caltrop shell waste for the adsorption of Cr(III) and Cu(II) insolutions. In the competitive adsorption, Cu(II) had a good affinity for the water caltrop shell and blendedbiochars. The blended biochar was a mixture of wood and water caltrop shell biochars. Each biocharadsorption equilibrium datafit well with the Freundlich model. The effectiveness of the adsorption of Cr(III) and Cu(II) solutions utilizing biochar is proven to be effective in continuous adsorption columns, andthe adsorption performance is verified with model simulation.

        A Secure Switch Migration for SDN with Role-based IBC

        Despite the Openflow’s switch migration occurs after the channel was established in secure manner (optional), the current cryptography protocol cannot prevent the insider attack as the attacker possesses a valid public/private key pair. There are methods such as the certificate revocation list (CRL) or the online certificate status protocol (OCSP) that tries to revoke the compromised certificate. However, these methods require a management system or server that introduce additional overhead for the communication. Furthermore, these methods are not able to mitigate power abuse of an insider. In this paper, we propose a role-based identity-based cryptography (RB-IBC) that integrate the identity of the node along with its role so the nodes within the network can easily mitigate any role abuse of the nodes. Besides that, by combining with IBC, it will eliminate the need of exchanging certificates and hence improve the performance in a secure channel.

        Social media has quickly becoming tools of choice for communicating between brand and their customers. Among all social medias, instagram is seen as the most effective one, especially for fashion brands. Instagram’s main function to share videos and pictures is suitable with visual communication methods that is often being used by fashion brands. Posts with high amount of likes and positive comments may increase brand awareness and can trigger positive e-WOM (Electronic Word of Mouth) among customers and potential customers. Why is communicating with consumers very important? Because in this era consumers are brands’ most trustworthy and loyal marketers for company’s products (Çukul, 2015). Customers are likely to believe review from their families and friends rather than reviews that is being written by the company itself (Chang, 2014). Realizing the importance of nurturing positive word of mouths among customers, this paper is going to use qualitative analysis to analyze Instagram posts of well-known local fashion brands to find out what kind of post that will generate the highest positive e-WOM feedback from the audience. Content of Instagram account of researched brands are being examined according to post type (photo / video), content type (9 elements), number of likes and reviews, photo type (amateur / professional), and shooting place (studio / outdoor / shops). Analysis is conducted to understand what kind of Instagram post that will give positive feedback from their customers. The result of this paper will serve as guidance for company to tailor interesting and engaging post hence increasing the probability of creating positive e-WOM that will increase brand image that ultimately will increase sales.

        Custom Cryptographic Protocol Implementation Method Based on OpenSSL

        가장 널리 사용되는 오픈 소스 프로젝트 중 하나인 OpenSSL은 대부분의 웹 사이트, 서버 및 클라이언트를 보호하는 데 사용되는 암호화 라이브러리이다. OpenLLS을 사용하여 SSL 혹은 이것으로부터 나온 TLS 프로토콜로 안전하게 통신할 수 있다. 시스템의 지속적 보안성 유지를 위해 암호 프로토콜은 업데이트되고 개선되어야 하므로, 이 라이브러리는 새로운 암호화 방법을, 특히 대칭 암호화 프로토콜을, 시스템에 통합하여 구현하는 일이 간단하도록 작성되었다. 그러나 비대칭 암호화 프로토콜을 추가 할 때는 훨씬 더 복잡해진다. 본 논문에서는 OpenSSL 기반 사용자 지정암호 프로토콜 구현 방안 도출을 위하여 OpenSSL 라이브러리의 세부 아키텍처를 파악하고 설명한다. 그리고 대칭키와 비대칭 암호화 기반 사용자 지정 프로토콜을 수용하기 위해 OpenSSL 라이브러리를 수정하는 방법을 제시한다. One of the most widely-used open source project; OpenSSL is a cryptography library that is used to secure most web sites, servers and clients. One can secure the communication with the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) or its successor, Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocols by using the OpenSSL library. Since cryptography protocols will be updated and enhanced in order to keep the system protected, the library was written in such a way that simplifies the integration of new cryptographic methods, especially for the symmetric cryptography protocols. However, it gets a lot more complicated in adding an asymmetric cryptography protocol and no guide can be found for the integration of the asymmetric cryptography protocol. In this paper, we explained the architecture of the OpenSSL library and provide a simple tutorial to modify the OpenSSL library in order to accommodate custom protocols of both symmetric and asymmetric cryptography.
