Vasile Rednic,Nicolae Aldea,Petru Marginean,Marius Rada,Adrian Bot,Zhonghua Wu,Zhang Jing,Florica Matei 대한금속·재료학회 2014 METALS AND MATERIALS International Vol.20 No.4
Ni nanoclusters supported on Al2O3 were prepared using a coprecipitation method. A heat treatment at differenttemperatures was applied. The obtained samples were analyzed by X-ray diffraction (XRD), X-rayabsorption spectroscopy and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy in order to determine their global, local andelectronic structures. The average particle size, the mean squares of the microstrain, the particle size andmicrostrain distribution functions of the supported Ni nanoclusters were determined by the XRD methodusing a generalized Fermi function for the approximation of the X-ray line. The recrystallization inducedduring the heat treatment process was analyzed. The present study indicated strong deformation of thelocal structure of the active metal in all of the samples investigated due to the metal-support interactionand the effects of the small particle size. Electronic structural investigations showed the presence of Ni ina metallic state as well as Ni2+ on the cluster surfaces.
A Note on Subnormal and Hyponormal Derivations
Lauric, Vasile Department of Mathematics 2008 Kyungpook mathematical journal Vol.48 No.2
In this note we prove that if A and $B^*$ are subnormal operators and is a bounded linear operator such that AX - XB is a Hilbert-Schmidt operator, then f(A)X - Xf(B) is also a Hilbert-Schmidt operator and $${\parallel}f(A)X\;-\;Xf(B){\parallel}_2\;\leq\;L{\parallel}AX\;-\;XB{\parallel}_2$$, for f belonging to a certain class of functions. Furthermore, we investigate the similar problem in the case that S, T are hyponormal operators and $X\;{\in}\;\cal{L}(\cal{H})$ is such that SX - XT belongs to a norm ideal (J, ${\parallel}\;{\cdot}\;{\parallel}_J$) and prove that f(S)X - Xf(T) $\in$ J and ${\parallel}f(S)X\;-\;Xf(T){\parallel}_J\;\leq\;C{\parallel}SX\;-\;XT{\parallel}_J$, for f in a certain class of functions.

This paper introduces a non-automatic device to apply biaxial stretch and investigates the effect of biaxial stretchand domestic washing on air permeability of polyamide-elastane knitted fabrics for sportswear. Air permeability of theselected fabrics significantly increased upon biaxial stretch, regardless the fabric type and stretch level (5 % or 10 %) applied. Generally, air permeability of relaxed fabrics decreased due to slight shrinkage that occurred upon washing, but domesticwashing was not found to have a statistical significant influence on air permeability of the selected fabrics. The manualdevice proposed applies stretch in one or two directions, it is robust and easy to handle, and fabric preparation is quitestraightforward. The fabric holder used in this study is particularly suited to the head of the air permeability tester and thelevel of stretch applied depends on type of fabric.

Vinylphosphonic acid is homopolymerized with dimethylvinylphosphonate by radical polymerization using using UV light and photoinitiator Darocur 4265 (3 wt%). The molar ratio between vinylphosphonic acid and dimethylvinylphosphonate is varied between 1:1 and 4:1, respectively. The obtained homopolymer of vinylphosphonic acid and copolymers are characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), thermal analysis and size exclusion chromatography - multi angle laser light scattering. The polymerization by UV light is efficient and an average molar mass of 34,200 g/mol is obtained for poly(vinylphosphonic acid) and in the range from 12,700 to 19,120 g/mol for copolymers, which also have a good thermal stability until 320 oC. The polymers structure allows the formation of random coil conformation. The copolymers are tested as inhibitors against corrosion of iron in NaCl aqueous solution, and, as a result, it was shown that these copolymers exhibit promising anticorrosion properties.

Purpose: Management of superficial vein thrombosis (SVT) in patients with varicose veins (VV) is not currently standardized. We performed a survey aimed to demonstrate patterns in the management of SVT in the Republic of Moldova. Materials and Methods: This was a descriptive study whereby members of the National Surgical Society were asked to complete an online questionnaire. In the questionnaire, multiple-choice questions were supplemented with four clinical vignettes of real patients with SVT. Results: The questionnaire was completed by 102 participants (31.1% response rate). In the treatment of SVT, duplex ultrasound was routinely used by 74.5% of respondents, and anticoagulants were used by 70.5%. The full therapeutic dose of anticoagulants was recommended by 63.3% of surgeons, intermediate dose by 21.1%, and prophylactic dose by 15.6%. Only 50% of respondents were prescribed anticoagulants for 1 month or more. In case of surgical intervention for SVT, crossectomy and stripping were performed by 84.0% of surgeons, while isolated crossectomy by 10.7%. In all clinical vignettes, the majority of respondents opted for urgent surgical treatment. The rate of proponents of surgery varied from 43% in cases of isolated thrombosis of tributaries, and up to 72.5% in cases of thrombosis up to the sapheno-femoral junction. Conclusion: Management of patients with SVT and VV in the Republic of Moldova is far from standardized. Prescribed doses of anticoagulants, as well as the duration of anticoagulation are highly variable and often contradict the recommendations of current guidelines. Urgent crossectomy and stripping dominate the pattern of current therapeutic approaches.
Shop floor time management within the automotive industry: actual versus targeted time allocation
( Iuga Maria Virginia(phd) ),( Claudiu Vasile Kifor(prof. Dr. ) ),( Ioan Bondrea(prof. Dr. ) ) 한국품질경영학회 2015 한국품질경영학회 학술대회 Vol.2015 No.2
Purpose: Time management is of great importance to organizations and companies worldwide. The subject of allocating the optimal time for specific tasks in order to achieve the maximal outcome is one which grows in its importance every day, not only on individual level but also for entire organizations. The purpose of this research paper is to analyze the status quo of time management within the automotive industry regarding the shop floor as well as to find the optimal time allocation and time management improvement potential. Methodology: The method used within this research paper consisted of two questionnaires. The first step of the analysis was a survey conducted in Romania among eight automotive companies. The second step consisted of the analysis of the time management after the implementation of shop floor management in an automotive company. The analysis was performed using a second survey. The final goal of the research consisted in the analysis of the improvements of time management versus the need d optimization which resulted using the first questionnaire. Findings: After an intensive analysis of the collected data, the authors found that in order to improve time management, the time spent in Gemba (shop floor) must be increased. Moreover, they found that the implementation of shop floor management leads to a considerable increase in time efficiency. The research shows a significant efficiency increase due to better time management, showing that through a well implemented time management standard, up to one working day per month can be saved and translated into more efficient work. Limitations: The implementation of the improvements of time management versus the needed optimization was conducted in one automotive organization. Further research in this area should concentrate on iterating these analyses in order to draw conclusions about the strength of the efficiency increase across various markets and companies. Originality: This research paper has demonstrated not only the time efficiency increase due to the implementation of shop floor management but also tested the status quo of the time allocation within several automotive companies. This paper contributes to previous research by analyzing the interplay of the status quo and the optimal time allocation and demonstrating how time management can be significantly optimized.
A Middleware Based Architecture for the Industrial Internet of Things
( Ioan Ungurean ),( Nicoleta Cristina Gaitan ),( Vasile Gheorghita Gaitan ) 한국인터넷정보학회 2016 KSII Transactions on Internet and Information Syst Vol.10 No.7
Due to its potential, the Internet of Things (IoT) begins to be used in the industrial field. Nevertheless, although the concept called the Industrial Internet of Things does not know a widely accepted definition, it is based on the existing technology, and introduces the IoT in the industrial environment through the compliance with specific additional requirements and by integrating various fieldbuses with distinctive features, from the real-time point of view. The aim of this paper is to propose a practical architecture for the Industrial Internet of Things. The proposed architecture is designed around the Data Distribution Service for Real Time System (DDS) middleware protocol, and it is organized on four levels. Between these levels, it is defined standard interface, and they can be developed independently. For this reason, the architecture is scalable because at the middleware level, the DDS can be replaced by other middleware systems. At the final, it is performed a comparison between several middleware systems used in the proposed architecture.
