        Components of wind -tunnel analysis using force balance test data

        Since its development in the early 1980's the force balance technique has become a standard method in the efficient determination of structural loads and responses. Its usefulness lies in the simplicity of the physical model, the relatively short records required from the wind tunnel testing and its versatility in the use of the data for different sets of dynamic properties. Its major advantage has been the ability to provide results in a timely manner, assisting the structural engineer to fine-tune their building at an early stage of the structural development. The analysis of the wind tunnel data has evolved from the simple un-coupled system to sophisticated methods that include the correction for non-linear mode shapes, the handling of complex geometry and the handling of simultaneous measurements on multiple force balances for a building group. This paper will review some of the components in the force balance data analysis both in historical perspective and in its current advancement. The basic formulation of the force balance methodology in both frequency and time domains will be presented. This includes all coupling effects and allows the determination of the resultant quantities such as resultant accelerations, as well as various load effects that generally were not considered in earlier force balance analyses. Using a building model test carried out in the wind tunnel as an example case study, the effects of various simplifications and omissions are discussed.

        We extend the ranges of the vacuum standards to 10^-6 Pa by injecting the gas flow into the lower vacuum chamber of the orifice flow type vacuum standards system. The systematic error of the vacuum measurement has been reduced by measuring temperature accurately by reducing leak rate of the flowmeter and by attaching the ballast tank to flowmeter. We measure N_2, He and Ar gases for the sensitivity of nude ionization gauge for the check of the vacuum accuracy. The results are compared with the result of other research institute.

        The open loop response of a single-rod linear actuator controlled by an electro-hydraulic servovalve is investigated for unloaded conditions by applying the self-excited identification method. A quasi model reference control approach is proposed for adapting the controller structure to variations in system parameters. The Neural network is trained off-line and on-line respectively by simulation and the effectiveness of this method is verified through real-time experiment. Experimental results of Artificial Neural Network control method are also compared with those of PD control method.

        This study was undertaken to define the effect of DaeSiHoTang on the norepinephrine-induced arterial contraction and the mechanism of DaeSiHoTang induced relaxation. In order to investigate the effect of DaeSiHoTang on contracted rabbit carotid Arterial strips, transverse strips with intact or damaged endothelium were used for the experiment using organ bath. To analyzed the mechanism of DaeSiHoTang-induced relaxation. DaeSiHoTang extract infused into contracted arterial strips induced by norepinephrine after treatment of indomethacin, N_(ω)-nitro-L-arginine, or tetraethylammonium chloride. DaeSiHoTang relax arterial strip with endothelium contracted by norepinephrine, but in the strips without endothelium, DaeSiHoTang-induced relaxation was significantly inhibited. The endothelium-dependent relaxation induced by DaeSiHoTang was decreased by the pretreatment of N_(ω)-nitro-L-arginine, but it was not observed in the strips pretreated with indomethacin or tetraethylammonium chloride. We suggest that DaeSiHoTang may directly suppress influx of extra-cellular Ca^(++) and indirectly suppress influx of extra-cellular Ca^(++) through the formation of nitric oxide in the vascular endothelial cells.

      • 우포늪의 화석규조에 대한 연구

        In order to establish paleoenvironments conditions and lake's diatom assemblages of change core from the Changnyong-gun was drilled in swamp Woopo. A total of 39 taxa(2 orders 3 suborders 8 families 12 genera 31 species 3 variety 5 unidentified species) was identified consisting of most of Freshwater taxa, 3 taxa of tidal and 9 taxa of fossil plants. It is 37 taxa of pennales and 2 taxa of centrales and then 25 taxa of Naviculaceae(64.1%) was identified. Especially 7 taxa of Navicula(17.9%) and Cymbella(12.8%) Nitzschia(12.8%) was 5 taxa respectively. 79.5% of a total taxa was appearanced in 968.9~946.9cm at sediments and color of sediments were yellowish brown(2.5Y5), grey(7.5Y5), mottled clay silt and sand layer were existence each unit.

        The ward 'coaching' means actions of coaches. But the word 'coaching' is weasel, and the meaning of this word is differentiated. This view about the differentiation of the meaning is based on following reasons : 1. Many scholars in America referred to the coaching as teaching in their studies on physical education or coaching. This means that 'coaching' is identified with 'teaching' , or 'coaching' includes 'teaching' , That is to say, the meaning of 'coaching' is differentiated to athletic leadings and educational leadings; 2. The coach as the actor of coaching is demanded to play multiple roles. This word 'role' means expectant actions that ought to be done as the coaching position. However, by the word 'coaching' that means the actions of coaches, it can not mean every expectant action of coaches. The purpose of this study is to elucidate the concept of coaching For that purpose, this study tried to grasp the concept of coaching as a chain of actions that does not mean a passing phase in the action of coaches but a time series of the action toward some goals. So, this study brought in the concept of administration as a conceptual tool, and examined on the concept of coaching (administration). As the result of this study, the concept of coaching (administration) could be characterized as follows : 1. The concept of coaching (administration) means a certain process toward some goals, This process of coaching (administration) subsumes the administrative phase as policy making and the managerial phase as policy implementation The phase of policy making includes the stage of examination on goals themselves. 2. The concept of coaching (administration) means the manipulation of men by men about goals, and coaching (administration) must resolve the tension between the human concerns of individual team members and the overriding the winning as organizational purposes, so the process of coaching (administration) includes the stage of philosophy that quests human values.

      • 시험 출제 자동 시스템의 객체 지향적 설계

        본 논문에서는 객체 지향적 설계기법을 이용하여 자동화된 문제출제시스템과, 출제된 문제를 학습자에게 출력하는 시스템을 설계하고 구현한다. 편리한 사용자 인터페이스를 가지고, 멀티미디어를 가미한 문제 출제 시스템으로의 확장성을 제공하는 동시에 원격 교육 시스템에 적용하여 최대한의 교육 효과를 내는데 그 목적이 있다. This paper presents a object-oriented design of an automatic test generation system, that test generator is on the server-side and Web-based responsor on the client-side. The system has user-familiar GUI environment, can be extended to multimdedia test sheet, and can be integrated with the Remote Education System.

        자동차용 부품을 생산하는 중소기업체에서 회사내 업무 전산화를 위해 활용할 수 있는 전산시스템을 개발하였다. 자동차용 부품 생산은 주로 이산(discrete) 생산이고 주문(order) 생산품이 많으므로, 제품 및 부품에 대한 관리를 수작업으로 하기는 어렵다. 따라서, 전산시스템을 이용한 관리가 필요한데, 본 연구개발에서는 현재의 업무 처리 방식, 생산 환경, 전산망의 상황 등을 고려하여 기존 시스템의 문제점들을 해결하고 개선한 전산시스템을 개발하였다. The objective of the study is in development of a software for a small and medium company. Our software will be utilized to improve the planning and control process in discrete and order production environment. Most of companies have at least one software for the production planning and control. By the way, there exist few companies having a software of good fitness of the company. This study develops a new software to have good fitness for the company I by modifying and improving the existing one of the company.

        RFLP 법을 이용한 종에 따른 鹿茸類 한약재의 유전자 감식 연구

        Cornu Cervi Pantoctricchum is a hairy, dried, non-ossific young horn of a stag on Cervus nippon Temminck or C. elaphus L (family Cervidae) and a popular crude drug used in Korea to reinforce the kidney-yang, to tonify the vital essence and blood, and to strengthen the bones and muscles. The present study is designed to make a DNA marker for breed identification of Cornu Cervi Pantotricshum families and later to establish a gene discrimination. In this experiment some genomic DNA were extracted fine from dried samples, most of them were extracted damaged a lot. In RFLP analysis using restriction enzyme Hinf I, Hae Ⅲ, Hha I and Msp I can be used to distinguish the breed of Cornu Cervi Pantotrichum. Therefore, these polymorphic bands by RFLP can be used in breed identification of deer and Cervi Cornu Pantoctrichum now in use.
