      • 蜜蜂이 산딸기의 結實에 미치는 影響

        산딸기 主産地 住民들이 蜜蜂의 有害說을 主張하여 蜜蜂의 轉飼를 배척하고 蜜蜂의 訪花는 싸락딸기가 되게 한다는 여러 가지 有害說을 해소시켜 주기 爲하여 산딸기에 蜜蜂의 花粉媒介 效果試驗을 實施하였던바 다음과 같은 結果를 얻었다. 1) 산딸기는 蜜蜂의 訪花가 없으면 0.059%의 結實에 不可하였고 無蜂區 100으로한 指數比는 有蜂區가 1963으로 산딸기 結實에 蜜蜂의 訪花는 必要한 要因이며, 多收?에 큰 功獻을 한다. 2) 果實重量은 有蜂區는 最少 1g에서 最大 3g으로 平均 1.76 ±0.081g 無蜂區는 最少 0.03g에서 最大 0.1g으로 平均 0.05 ±0.003g로서 현저한 差異가 있었으며, 이로서 蜜蜂의 訪花는 果實의 正當化와 重量을 增加하고 品質을 良好케하여 주어 單位面積當 增收를 圖媒하고 있다. 3) 1果當 果粒數는 有蜂區가 最少 37에서 最多 126 平均 71.61 ±3.63個 無蜂區는 最少 1에서 最多 5個 平均 2.29 ±0.19個로서 蜜蜂의 訪花가 없으며, 싸락딸기가 全部되고 따라서 商品價値가 전혀없어 졌으며, 生産의 經濟性을 完全히 상실하였다. 4) 산딸기는 蜜蜂이나 基他 有用昆蟲에 依한 他花授精을 위주로 結實되는 蜜源植物로 考察되어졌다. 5) 産蜜成績이 優秀하여 蜜源價値가 優秀하고 또 산딸기는 蜜源植物로서 보급의 장래성이 기대된다. The dwellers cultivating wild berry in its chief producing districts keep bee-keepers from moving their beehives to the districts because they belive that the wild berry visited by honey-bee becomes the Salak wild berry. Therefore this experiment was conducted to remove the misunderstanding that honey-bee is harmful to the wild berry. The experimental results obtained were as follows; 1. When wild berry was not visited by honey-bee, it bore only 0.059% fruit. Comparing rate of an exponent the wild berry visited by honey-bee was 1693 against the wild berry not visited by honey-bee 100. The wild berry had good yield because it was visited by honey-bee. 2. In weight of wild berry fruit the wild berry visited by honey-bee averaged 1.76 ±0.081g from the minimum 1 g to the Maximum 3 g and the wild berry not visited by honey-bee averaged 0.05 ±0.003 g from the minimum 0.03 g to the maximum 0.1 g. Therefore wild berry-viewing of honey-bee was the cause of the wild berry normalcy, gained weight and good quality. 3. In numbers of granules the wild berry visited by honey-bee averaged 71.61 ±3.63 from the minimum 37 to the maximum 126 and the wild berry not visited by honey-bee avereged 2.29 ±0.19 from the minimum 1 to the maximum 5. Therefore as the wild berry was not visited by honey-bee, it all became Salak wild berry and lost the economic value of its production. 4. It was considered that the wild berry was the honey plant chiefly cross-fertilized by the honey-bee and other insects. 5. As the wild berry yielded much honey and was an important honey plant, it was expected to become popular as an economic honey plant.

      • 澱紛粕 Silage에 關한 硏究 : 第2報 糠類配合 Silage의 製造試驗 Ⅱ. Brans Mixture Silage

        우리나라에서 多量生産되고 있는 澱粉粕의 飼料的利用性을 增進시키기 爲하여 各種糠類를 配合하여 9個의 Vinyl silo에서 上部, 中間部, 下部로 부터 27個의 試料를 採取하여 pH, 有機酸의 定量 및 品質을 評價判定한 結果 다음 結果 를 얻었다. 1. pH에 있어서 糠類의 配合比率別 平均은 10%區에서 4.3, 20%區 4.3, 30%區 4.1을 나타내었고 部位別에서는 上部 4.1, 中間部 4.36, 下部 4.2를 나타내었다. 2. 有機酸含量에 있어 上部 1.85%, 中間部 2.17%, 下部 2.01%였고, 配合比率別로는 10%區, 2.06%, 20%區, 1.78%, 30%區, 2.20%였었다. 3. 品質의 評價에 있어서 糠類 30%, 配合區가 가장 좋았고 糠類의 種類에 對한 差는 거의 없었다. 4. 醋酸含量에 있어서 米糠과 밀기울間에는 5%(F=0,0670)米糠과 脫脂糠間에는 1%(F=0.091), 水準의 有意性이 있었다. 乳酸의 含量은 上部와 中間部問에 5%(F=0.3071), 水準의 有意性이 있었고, 各有機酸과 配合比率間에는 有意性이 認定되지 않았다. These experiments were carried out to improve the quality of starch pulp as an animal feed by the method of storing in the vinyl package as a substitute of silo in 50 cm under the ground for 85 days. In making silage, wheat bran, rice bran, and oil extracted rice bran were used as a mixture at the rate of 10%, 20% and 30% of starch pulp on the weight basis, respectively. From the above 9 different kinds of silages, twenty seven samples were taken from the bottom, interium and upper part of the vinyl packages to study the effective sampling for qualifying the silages. In qualifying these silages, the Flieg's methods were employed and the amount of organic acids such as lactic acid, acetic acid and butryic acid, and also pH by Beckman's tester were measured. The results were analyzed statistically to test the significant difference among the kinds of mixture rate and the various parts of the vinyl package silo. The results obtained were as follows: 1. The average pH value at the different mixture rate were 4.3, 4.3 and 4.1 at 10%, 20% and 30%, respectively, and also 4.1, 4.36 and 4.2 in the upper, interium and bottom part of the vinyl package silo, respectively. 2. The average organic acids contents were found 1.86%, 2.17% and 2.01% in the upper, interium and bottom part of the vinyl packed silo, respectively, and 2.06%, 1.78% and 2.20% at 10%, 20% and 30% bran mixture rate, respectively. 3. In the qualifying the silages, the qualities of 30% mixture of each bran were superior to the other mixture rates and those were found no differences between the kinds of bran used. 4. From the statistical analysis, significant difference (P<0.05) was shown between the rice bran and wheat bran, and highly significant difference (P<0.01) between the rice bran and oil extracted rice bran, in the amount of acetic acid. In the amount of lactic acid, significant difference (P<0.05) was shown between the upper and interium part of the vinyl packed silo. No significant differences were found between the rates of mixture in the other organic acids.

        Evaluation of periodontal parameters and gingival crevicular fluid cytokines in children with anterior open bite receiving passive orthodontic treatment with a spur

        Objective: To evaluate clinical parameters and gingival crevicular fluid (GCF) cytokines in children with anterior open bite receiving passive orthodontic treatment with spurs. Methods: Twenty children with indications for interceptive orthodontic treatment, an anterior open bite, and good oral hygiene and periodontal health were included in this study. GCF samples were collected from the mandibular and maxillary central incisors before (baseline) and 24 hours and 7 days after spur bonding. Clinical and periodontal examinations and cytokine analyses were performed. Results: At 7 days after spur attachment, gingival bleeding in the mandibular group was increased relative to that in the maxillary group. Visible plaque was correlated with gingival bleeding at 7 days and the GCF volume at 24 hours after spur attachment. Compared with those at baseline, interleukin (IL)-8 levels in the maxillary group and IL-1β levels in both tooth groups increased at both 24 hours and 7 days and at 7 days, respectively. At 24 hours, IL-8, IL-1β, and IL-6 levels were higher in the maxillary group than in the mandibular group. Cytokine production was positively correlated with increased GCF volume, but not with gingival bleeding, visible plaque, or probing depth. Conclusions: Although orthodontic treatment with spurs in children resulted in increased gingival bleeding around the mandibular incisors, IL levels were higher around the maxillary incisors and not correlated with periodontal parameters. Increased cytokine levels in GCF may be associated with the initial tooth movement during open bite correction with a passive orthodontic appliance in children.

        Th. Mann 문학(文學)에 있어서의 Parodie의 제상(諸相)

        Parodien sind die stilistischen Hauptrnerkmale in den spaten Romanen Th. Manns. In dieser Abbandlung wird versucht, die Parodie-Erscheinungen in seinen Romanen, die wahrend der Zeitspanne von 1911 bis zu seinem Tode entstanden sind, moglichst chronologish in Hinsicht auf ihre Entwicklungen zu untersuchen. Seine Jugend-Werke vor dem Jabre 1910 waxen bekanntlich mit den ironisehen Zugen verfarbt. Fur ihn war die Ironic der Geist der episehen Kunst, und die epische Kunst ist apollonische Kunst, urn mit Tb. Mann zu reden, denn Apollo, der Fernhintreffende, ist der Gott der Distanz, der Gott der Objektivitat. Dieser objektivierende Kunstgeist der Ironie ist aber bei semen spliten Werken in erweitertem Sinn wirksam fortgesetzt worden. Der Kunstgeist der Ironie wurde ,,einc Allbejahung, die eben soiche auch Ailverneinung ist: ein sonnenbaft kiar and heiter das Ganze umfassender Blick, der eben der Blick der Kunst ist." (Th. Mann: Gesammelte Werke Bd. X, S. 353) Der das Ganze umfassende Blick der Kunst maclit seine Romane polyphonisch, z.B. man konnte seinen Roman ,,Be-kenntnisse des Hochstaplers Felix Krull", den man eine musterhafte Parodie-Dichtung nennen konnte, einerseits als einen Bildungsroman aber anderseits als auch einen Schelmen-roman bezeicinen. Der Geist der Ironie, der als eine Relativierungshaltung der allen Gegenstiinden diente, wurde zum Geist der Parodie bei dcn spaten Werken, Dr. Faustus, Der Erwahite, Joseph-Geschicbte u.a...Parodie ist also eine spezielle Form der Ironie, d.h. die auf den Stil ange-wandte Ironic. Parodie hat wesentlich immer mit traditionellen Werken zu tun. Sie ist eine liebevolle und auflosende Neubeseelung des alten Geistes. Die Liebe zu einein Kunstgeist, an dessen Moglichkeit man nicht mehr glaubt, bringt Parodie hervor. Sie ist also ein Kunststil der spaten Kultur. In diesem Sinne hat Parodie einen Cbarakterzug des Konservativismus. Durch diese konser-vatistische Geistesbaltung halt sich Th. Manns Kunstgeist zwischen der alten and neuen Epoche, und seine Dicitungen sind immer ein Versuch des Sichwiederfindens and des AnschluBsuchens an die traditionellen Uberlieferungen des deutschen Geistes.

        Evidence of a Rattling Transition in the Caged Compounds LaRu2Zn20 and LaIr2Zn20: 139La NMR Studies

        We report a study of 139La(I=7/2) nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) to investigate the structuralphase transition in the two caged compounds LaIr2Zn20 and LaRu2Zn20 from microscopic viewpoints. The former compound shows a second-order structural phase transition around Ts = 200 Kwhereas the latter one shows a first-order structural phase transition at Ts = 150 K. For both compounds,quite narrow La-NMR lines of less that 10 kHz without any electric field gradient (EFG) atthe La site were observed at temperatures above Ts, indicating that the local symmetry at the Lasite holds a cubic symmetry. On the other hand, an EFG at La site appears at temperatures belowTs, evidencing symmetry lowering occurs at the La site at temperatures below Ts. At temperaturesaround Ts, both the nuclear spin-lattice relaxation rate (1/T1) and the nuclear spin-spin relaxationrate (1/T2) show unusual enhancements associated with the slowing down of the EFG fluctuations. However, the temperature dependences of 1/T1T and 1/T2 are different from the typical slowingdownphenomena of the EFG fluctuations due to the classical motional narrowing. The lowering ofthe local symmetry at the La site is ascribed to a freezing of the rattling motion.

        ASTROD I, Test of Relativity, Solar-System Measurement and G-Wave Detection

        ASTROD-I is a mission concept under study to realize the general concept of ASTROD (Astrodynamical Space Test of Relativity using Optical Devices). This mission concept has one spacecraft carrying a payload of a telescope, ve lasers, and a clock together with ground stations (ODSN: Optical Deep Space Network) to test the optical scheme of interferometric and pulse ranging and yet give important scientic results. The scientic goals include a better measurement of the relativistic parameters, a better sensitivity in using optical Doppler tracking method for detecting gravitational waves, and measurement of many solar system parameters more precisely. The weight of this spacecraft is estimated to be about 300-350 kg with a payload of about 100-120 kg. The spacecraft is to be launched with initial period about 290 days and to pass by Venus twice to receive gravity-assistance for achieving shorter periods. With good orbit design, after about 370 days from launch, the spacecraft will arrive at the other side of the Sun for the determination of relativistic parameters.
