人體組成 및 體力에 關한 硏究 : 韓 ·日 女子大學生 對象 Korean and Japanese young female subjects
洪進杓,增田卓二 대구효성가톨릭대학교 1993 연구논문집 Vol.47 No.1
The body composition and nutronal state of the Korean and the Japanses young female subjects were compared. Three-day individual weighed, dietary intakes and anthropometric measurements were ditermined in 48 Korean and 60 Japanese female subjects, 19 to 23 yr of age, from the divisions of dietetics. The body composition estimates were measured by bioelectrical impedance-total body water (BI-TBW) method. There were no significant differences between the Korean and the Japanese young females in body size and body shape, but the endomorphy score in the Heath-Carter somatotype method of the Japanese young females was higher than those of the Korean young females. The Korean young females had lower estimated total body fat and internal fat that calculated by BI-TBW method, but there was no great difference butween the Korean and the Japanese in subcutaneous fat. In contrast, the Korean young females are reproted to have the same total energy expenditure per day as the Japanese young females and the total enerfy intaker and carbohydrate energy intake ratio per day were significantly higher than those of the Japanese young females. the differences in body fat distribution and energy intakes in the Korean, and the role of capsaicain in red papper are discussed as a possible determinant of teh internal fat in the Koren vs Japanese.

Taku Inada,Sei Nishida,Taigo Kawaoka,Toshiyuki Takahashi,Junya Hanakita 대한척추외과학회 2018 Asian Spine Journal Vol.12 No.1
Study Design: A retrospective study. Purpose: Our objectives were to determine the association between the pathological changes of disc herniation and the interval between primary and revision surgeries and to investigate the frequency and site of the dural laceration in the primary and revision surgeries. Overview of Literature: Among 382 patients who underwent microsurgical lumbar discectomy, we investigated 29 who underwent revision surgery to analyze recurrent herniation pathologies and complications to determine the manner in which lumbar disc herniation can be more efficiently managed. Methods: Of 29 patients, 22 had recurrent disc herniation at the same level and site. The pathological changes associated with compression factors were classified into the following two types depending on intraoperative findings: (1) true recurrence and (2) minor recurrence with peridural fibrosis (>4 mm thickness). The sites of dural laceration were examined using video footage and operative records. Results: The pathological findings and days between the primary and revision surgeries showed no statistical difference (p =0.14). Analysis of multiple factors, revealed no significant difference between the primary and revision surgery groups with regard to hospital days (p =0.23), blood loss (p =0.99), and operative time (p =0.67). Dural lacerations obviously increased in the revision surgery group (1.3% vs. 16.7%, p <0.01) and were mainly located near the herniated disc in the primary surgery group and near the root shoulder in the revision surgery group, where severe fibrosis and adhesion were confirmed. To avoid dural laceration during revision surgery, meticulous decompressive manipulation must be performed around the root sleeve. Conclusions: We recommend that meticulous epidural dissection around the scar formation must be performed during revision surgery to avoid complications.
Baseball Robots Based on Sensory-Motor Integration
Taku Senoo,Idaku Ishii 제어로봇시스템학회 2021 제어로봇시스템학회 국제학술대회 논문집 Vol.2021 No.10
In this paper, we provide an overview of the baseball robots we have developed. The system is composed of a high-speed hand-arm, a high-speed bipedal mechanism, and high-speed vision. By integrating these components, the system can perform feedback-based reactive motion in real time, unlike commonly used systems based on prediction and learning, to achieve high-speed movement. Using the characteristics, the system is able to perform baseball-relevant actions that require dynamic and high-speed body movements, including running, hitting, and fielding.
Tracheary element differentiation
Taku Demura 한국식물생명공학회 2014 Plant biotechnology reports Vol.8 No.1
Differentiation of tracheary elements (TEs), characterized by formation of a visible secondary cell wall and autolysis, has been regarded as a model system for cytodifferentiation in plants. Fukuda and Komamine (Plant Physiol 65:57–60, 1980a) established an efficient experimental system for TE differentiation from isolated single mesophyll cells of Zinnia elegans. Physiological, cytological, and biochemical analyses of this system have revealed multiple aspects of TE differentiation regarding cell division, DNA synthesis, the cytoskeleton, autolysis, phytohormones, and cell wall components. In addition, molecular biological approaches have identified a number of Zinnia genes associated with TE-specific events. The knowledge obtained in the Zinnia system has beenexpanded to studies in other plants including Arabidopsis, leading to the identification of key regulators of TE differentiation.

Considering its contribution to reducing colorectal cancer morbidity and mortality, the most important task of colonoscopy is tofind all existing polyps. Moreover, the accurate detection of existing polyps determines the risk of colorectal cancer morbidity andis an important factor in deciding the appropriate surveillance program for patients. Image-enhanced endoscopy is an easy-tousemodality with improved lesion detection. Linked color imaging (LCI) and blue laser/light imaging (BLI) are useful modalitiesfor improving colonoscopy quality. Each mode has unique optical features; therefore, their intended use differs. LCI contributes toimproved polyp detection due to its brightness and high color contrast between the lesion and normal mucosa, while BLI contributesto the characterization of detected polyps by evaluating the vessel and surface patterns of detected lesions. The proper use of theseobservation modes allows for more efficient endoscopic diagnosis. Moreover, recent developments in artificial intelligence will soonchange the clinical practice of colonoscopy and this system will provide an efficient education modality for novice endoscopists.

In the past, we have made use of infrared CCD camera to take pictures of vein for vein authentication. However, mounting infrared CCD camera for electrical device is dangerous due to the problem of privacy invasions. In addition, there have been registration problem which lower the correlation. Then, we propose a method that visualizes vein using color information subpixel level image registration technique. These methods do not require infrared CCD camera, and furthermore . Consequently, we create a high-accuracy authentication system without the use of infrared CCD camera.
An Approach to the Interactive Design Process Using Genetic Algorithms
Taku OKUNO,Yukinori KAKAZU 대한전자공학회 1992 대한전자공학회 학술대회 Vol.1992 No.10
This paper is aiming to apply the Genetic Algorithms(GAs) to the interactive design. For that purpose, the scheme for utilizing the past design processes for the next interactive design process is proposed. In this scheme, the process consists of three phases: the searching phase, the tuning phase and the design phase. The first phase searches the optimal decision sequences for the past design instances by GAs. By the collected sequences, the second phase tunes the criteria of selecting decision sequences for the next design process. By this scheme, the implicit constraints satisfied in the past design can be applied to the next design. Finally, the computer simulations on the simple gear-train design were carried out to show the effectiveness of the scheme.

We focused on the hydrogen fueled, direct-injection diesel engine in an inen gas circulation type co-generation system which had been proposed by WE-NET project. In this study, chemical kinetic analysis with a detailed chemi-cal kinetic model for hydrogen was conducted to understand the characteristic of auto-ignition phenomena with investigating the effects of temperature, pressure, fuel concentration, and third body concentration in hydrogen mixture on auto-ignition delay time. It was found that temperature of mixture had a strong effect on auto-ignition delay especially at less than 1100 K. It is found that richer mixture ignites earlier, and that the increase in third body concentration causes the increase in auto-ignition delay time because third body dilutes chemical species related with auto-ignition. Moreover as supposed that mixture is formed in a cylinder by means of direct-injection method, it is clarified that third body concentration and temperature in the mixture vary with the change in equivalence ratio of the mixture, and it can be supposed that leaner mixture spontaneously ignites earlier because temperature of lean mixture is higher than one of rich mixture.

Flow fields in 2-blade and 4-blade half-ducted propeller fans for the outdoor units of air-conditioners were calculated with large eddy simulation based on finite element method with the aim of investigating the influence of blade number on aerodynamic noise. We confirmed that the tip vortex had a great influence on aerodynamic noise in half-ducted propeller fans. The length of the tip vortex trajectory and the blade pitch for the 2-blade propeller fan were longer than those for the 4-blade propeller fan. These were suppressed the interaction between the tip vortex and the adjacent blade in the 2-blade propeller fan. The 2-blade propeller fan was therefore more silent than the 4-blade propeller fan.
