Zigbee sensor 모듈에 적용 가능한 소형 PCB 안테나의 최적 설계 기법 연구

본 논문에서는 소형 Zigbee sensor 모듈에 적용하기에 적합한 모듈 일체형 안테나의 최적 설계시법을 제기하고자 한다. Zigbee sensor 모듈에서 사용되는 2.45GHz 대역에 적합한 모듈 일체형 안테나를 meander slit 구조를 이용하여 최적설계 과정을 보이고, 최적화된 안테나의 설계 결과를 보였다. 그리고 기존 chip 안테나의 성능 비교를 위해 최대 동작거리 및 방사출력을 비교한 결과를 제시 하였다.
Two New Acorane Sesquiterpenes from Illicium henryi

Two new acorane sesquiterpenes, 10-hydroxyacoronene (1) and 1β-isopropyl-4β-methyl-9β-hydroxy spiro[4.5]dec-6-en-8-one (2), one new natural product, 4-hydroxy-4, 6-dimethyl-1-tetralone (3), and one known acorane sesquiterpene, acoradiepoxide (4) were isolated from the twigs and leaves of Illicium henryi. The structures of the new compounds were elucidated primarily on the basis of analysis of spectroscopic data. In addition, the inhibitory effect on NO production of these compounds were tested. Compounds 1 and 4 exhibited slight inhibitory effects on NO production with IC50 values of 82.4 μg/mL and 76.5 μg/mL, respectively.
Diagnosis of mechanical pumping system using neural networks and system parameters analysis

Normally, a mechanical pumping system is equipped to monitor some of the important input and output signals which are set to the prescribed values. This paper addressed dealing with these signals to establish the database of input- output relation by using a number of neural network models through learning algorithms. These signals encompass normal and abnormal running conditions. The abnormal running conditions were artificially generated. Meanwhile, for the purpose of setting up an on-line diagnosis network, the learning speed and accuracy of three kinds of networks, viz., the backpropagation (BPN), radial basis function (RBF) and adaptive linear (ADALINE) neural networks have been compared and assessed. The assessment criteria of the networks are compared with the correlation result matrix in terms of the neuron vectors. Both BPN and RBF are judged by the maximum vector based on the post-regression analysis, and the ADALINE is judged by the minimum vector based on the least mean square error analysis. By ignoring the neural network training time, it has been shown that if the mechanical diagnosis system is tackled off-line, the RBF method is suggested. However, for on-line diagnosis, the BPN method is recommended.

Vibration response analysis caused by rubbing between rotating blade and casing

Two types of blade-tip rubbing due to the static misalignment of the bladed-disk center and casing center and casing deformation are simulated. By applying aerodynamic load in the blade lateral/flexural direction, vibration responses due to blade-casing rubbing are analyzed under the run-up process with constant angular acceleration and the steady-state process at 10000 rev/min. The effects of some parameters, such as the static misalignment e c , casing stiffness k c and casing deformation n p , on the system vibration responses are also illustrated by spectrum cascades, time-domain waveforms of displacement, normal rubbing forces, amplitude spectra and the impulse P in a single blade-casing rubbing period. The results show that blade-tip rubbing will cause amplitude amplification and harmonic resonance phenomena when the multiple frequencies (nf r ) of rotational frequency (f r ) coincide with the first three flexural dynamic frequencies of the blade (f n1 , f n2 and f n3 ). For example, the displacement amplitudes at 3f r , 14f r and 38f r are large and the vibration is dominant near f n1 . In addition, the casing deformation mainly excites the dominant Blade passing frequency (BPF), which is related to the casing deformation coefficient n p . By comparing these impulse values, for the selected parameters in this paper, the casing stiffness has a greater effect on impulse than the static misalignment and casing deformation coefficient. The impulse shows a linear increase trend with the increasing static misalignment, and it decreases under the large n p because the contact time decreases with the increase of n p .
생태ㆍ경관ㆍ친수ㆍ수질을 고려한 갑천 유역의 하천유지유량 산정

In order to make the way to determine the instream flow more practically, we have investigated many case studies and reviewed reports and papers. To validate instream flow level suggested by the case studies, DAWAST and HEC-RAS model were applied to the Gap-stream watershed in Daejeon city. Flow-duration analysis was performed both with the stream flow data gauged in the Indong, Boksu, and Hoeduck stations, and with the stream flow data estimated by the DAWAST model and the specific discharge method. Instream flow was determined among the flow-duration analysis, DAWAST, HEC-RAS model and mass balance approach. It was satisfied with various factors such as target water quality, water depth for eco-system and resorts, water surface width, flow velocity for landscape in dry season. The study suggested that the mean low flow could be replaced into the instream flow for the preliminary study because the instream flow considering ecosystem, landscape, water-friendly environment and water quality was generally close to the mean low flow.
Replication of butterfly wing microstructures using molding lithography

This study employed a soft lithography technique to fabricate a polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) replica of the multi-layered scales on the upper surface of a Morpho butterfly. The bionic photonic crystal microstructure of the replicated scales was examined using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and atomic force microscopy (AFM). The absorptivity, reflectivity and fluorescent characteristics of the wing were measured. The results showed that the microstructural and optical characteristics of the replicated wing qualitatively agree with those of the actual wing. The contact angle for the natural wing structure and the replicated wing were about 143˚ and 120˚, respectively. As a result, it can be inferred that the soft lithography technique employed in this study represents a viable approach for the mass production of artificial photonic crystal structures for a variety of commercial applications, including optical elements for computing and communications purposes, photonic integrated circuits, anti-counterfeiting mechanisms, and so forth.
