      • 太谿穴의 臨床 活用에 대한 文獻考察

        Literally, the mean of Tae-gye is highest brook. And on the basis of the acupuncture theory, Tae-gye point is the Soo earth point and source point of the Kidney Channel as well. In addition, Tae-gye point is one of the Yang-Returning Nine points. We were trying to study bibliographically on the Tae-gye point because Tae-gye point can be used very broadly across the symptoms in the theoretical aspect described above. As a results, we found out that according to the classical books of acupuncture, Tae-gye point is entering point of the Meridian Water as a source point and can be used at both Kidney-Sufficient Syndrom and Kidney-Deficient Syndrom. And Tae-gye can be applied to the disease of kidney or bladder that is urogenital symtoms, Also, Tae-gye is an useful option of tooth-ache, asthma, indigestion, constipation, edema etc whose cause is related with decrease of Kidney ki.

        Study on Reliability Improvement of Voltage Transformers by Increasing Voltage Factor

        Voltage transformers (VTs) must be highly reliable as they are essential components of the electric power industry. VT failures can cause a signifcant impact for important facilities such as nuclear power plants. In fact, VTs which passed the international standard, were damaged and sometimes resulted in the shutdown of the nuclear power plants. In order to improve the reliability, VTs with various iron core was studied. The electromagnetic feld simulation, a saturation characteristics test, and an overvoltage breakdown test were conducted. The result shows that the magnetic fux density signifcantly afects the reliability of VTs. To increase the reliability of VTs, it is required to reduce the magnetic fux density by increasing the knee-point and voltage factor. Owing to limited installation space, increasing the size of the iron core is difcult. Instead, VT by decreasing the thickness of the conductor and increasing the number of turns, it was possible to reduce the magnetic fux density without the size change. Therefore, improved VTs were obtained by decreasing the thickness of the conductor and increasing the number of turns, and the improved reliability was verifed through a comparison test with existing VTs. The fabricated VTs shows a signifcantly higher saturation voltage and breakdown time than existing VTs. Thus, by proposed VTs can contribute the stable operation of the nuclear power plant and improve the manufacturer’s quality.

        Effects of the Ultrasound Treatment on Reaction Rates in the RH Processor Water Model System

        Ruhrstahl–Heraeus (RH) processor is widely applied to the refining process to produce steel with very low carbon contents. In this study, to investigate the effect of ultrasound treatment on RH decarburization process, we have developed two kinds ofthe water models simulated the RH process and study the removal rate of dissolved oxygen. The one is the RH water modelof 1/8 size of actual RH degasser simulated the late-stage of the RH process when surface reaction and plume reaction mainlyoccur. Through this model, it is found that the ultrasound treatment accelerates dissolved oxygen removal reaction and thistendency is maintained even at low concentrations. Also, the results show that there is a difference in the degassing efficiencydepending on the frequencies and the positions of the ultrasonic transducer. Also, to simulate the Early-stage Reaction ofthe process including the inner-site reaction which is difficult to investigate through the RH water model, the other watermodel has been developed (the RH-ER water model). This model shows that the ultrasound treatment facilitates the earlystagereaction including inner-site reaction, like the RH water model. These results show that the addition of the ultrasoundtreatment can accelerate decarburization reaction during RH process compared to conventional process.

        Effects of Variation of Heat Flux Released from the Meniscus on the Surface Shape of the Solidified Shell During Continuous Casting

        Mold oscillations, widely used in continuous casting for infiltrating the mold flux between the mold and the solidified shell,change periodically the heat flux from the meniscus to mold. These variations of the heat flux affect the solidification behaviornear an initial solidification position. Because the surface shape of the solidified shell is influenced by the initial solidificationbehavior, it is important to understand the relation between the mold oscillation, the heat flux and initial solidificationbehavior. In the present study, we developed a numerical model that simulates the flow and thermal behavior of the moldflux near the meniscus. Using this model, we analyze the effects of the variations of the heat flux from the meniscus on theinitial solidification position and suggest the formation mechanism of the oscillation marks (OMs) and the hooks. Also, wewill present quantitative results about the depth of the OMs and the length of the hooks at the conditions used in the presentstudy. The factors that influence the hooks’ types and the causes of the irregularity of the shell surface are also discussed.

        Misorientation Characteristics at the Growth Front of Abnormally-Growing Goss Grains in Fe–3%Si Steel

        Penetrating morphologies at the growth front of abnormally-growing Goss grains in Fe–3%Si steel was examined in view ofthe possibility that they are the two-dimensional section of the solid-state wetting (SSW) along the triple junction line. Toobtain the statistically meaningful data, 102 penetrated grain and 204 penetrating abnormally-growing Goss grain morphologieswere examined. The misorientation angles of penetrating and penetrated grains were measured by electron backscattereddiffraction. Among the 102 examined penetrated grain boundaries, none has low misorientation angles less than 15°,whereas 17.2% of the 204 penetrating grain boundaries have low misorientation angles, and 23.5% of them have coincidencesite lattice boundaries. Besides, boundary energies of penetrating Goss grains, which were estimated from misorientationangles of the three grains in the penetrating morphology, satisfied the energetic condition for SSW along the triple junctionline. These results imply that the abnormal grain growth of Goss grains in Fe–3%Si steel occurs by the mechanism of subboundaryenhanced SSW.

        Genome-wide investigation of a Korean synthetic breed, Woori-Heukdon using the Illumina PorcineSNP60K BeadChip

        Background: Woori-Heukdon (KWH) is a Korean synthetic pig breed generated using Chookjin-Duroc (KCD), Chookjin-Chamdon (KCC), and their crossbreds. Currently, there is a severe lack of studies investigating the Korean breed populations including wild boars (KWB) throughout the genome. Objective: This study was performed to investigate the genetic characteristics of Korean pig populations at the genome-wide level. Methods: Using the SNP dataset derived from genotyped and downloaded datasets using the Illumina PorcineSNP60K BeadChip, we compared the genomes of 532 individuals derived from 23 pig breeds to assess the genetic diversity, inbreeding coefficient, genetic differentiation, and population structure. Results: KWB showed the lowest average expected heterozygosity (HE = 0.1904), while KWH showed the highest genetic diversity (HE = 0.02859) among Korean populations. We verified that the genetic composition of KWH, showing USD of 74.8% and KCC of 25.2% in ADMIXTURE analysis. In population structure analyses, KCC was consistently shown to be separated from other pig populations. In addition, we observed gene flow from Western pigs to a part of Chinese populations. Conclusion: This study showed that Korean native pigs, KCC have genetic differences in comparison with Chinese and Western pigs; despite some historical records and recent genetic studies, we could not find any clear evidence that KCC was significantly influenced by Chinese or Western breeds in this study. We also verified the theoretical genomic composition of KWH at the molecular level in structure analyses. To our knowledge, this is the first genomic study to investigate the genomic characteristics of KWH and KCC.

        The purpose of this study was to conceptualize the `Emotional Intelligence' and the 'Self-Concept' through an analysis of the related literature. and to find out the relationships between secondary school learners' emotional intelligence(EI) and self-concept(SC). And in order to achieve the purpose of this study analysed the related literatures and the subjects were sampled voluntarily 320 middle and high school learners in Seoul and other areas. The scales/instruments used for data collection were 「Emotional Intelligence Scale」 (Moon, Yong-Lin, 1996) and 「Self-Concept Scale] (Kim, Yong-Rae, 1995), the collected data processing was performed by SPSS/PC+ program, and analysed zero-order correlation between two variables and multiple regression, and all statistic value (r, R^2, R^2ch, andβ) were tested by F-test and t-test at the significant level of p < .05. As for the major contents of the findings in this study were as follows: First, "Self-concept is the level or degree of the evaluative attitudes and beliefs about 'the self' based feelings and views that was formed through interaction between self and significant others and various experiences in environment/situation" Second, "Emotional intelligence is multifactorial array of interrelated emotional, personal, and social abilities - the ability to accurately perceive and appraise self, to be aware of and understand self-emotions, to effectively manage self-emotions, to control self-emotions, to adapt and adjust self-feelings and thoughts to new situations, to solve self-personal and interpersonal problems, to be aware of and understand others emotions, and to relate well others". And addition to these abilities, emotional intelligence may be include following the abilities - the ability to be positive and to look at the brighter side of life, to feel content with self, others, and life in general, to be self-reliant and free of emotional dependency on others, to identify with and feel part of our social groups, and to achieve goals and actualize self-potential. Third, the correlation between learners 'emotional intelligence' and 'self-concept' was relatively in meaningful positive relationships. Learners nonacademic self-concept was more influence on emotional intelligence than academic self-concept. Personality self-concept and family self-concept among nonacademic self-concept subfactors influenced on emotional intelligence and its subfactors respectively. And the personality self-concept was in meaningful higher power of influence on the emotional intelligence than the family self-concept.
