Recently, permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) is widely used in various applications, such as electric vehicles and compressors. It has a high requirement in wide load variations, high speed condition, stability,providing a fast response and most important thing is that it can be applied easily and efficiently. However, the control of PMSM is difficult because its nonlinearity and parameter uncertainty. In this paper, we use T-S fuzzy modeling PMSM to a series linear model and weighting them by memberships. Based on this work, PMSM can be controlled very efficient by using linear control. Because T-S fuzzy modeling method is applied, PMSM system is looked as a black box. That means system uncertainty can be ignored and a more exactcontrol to PMSM can be designed.
Extension of the electrodynamics in the presence of the axion and dark photon

<P>We present the extended electrodynamics in the presence of the axion and dark photon. We derive the extended versions of Maxwell’s equations and dark Maxwell’s equations (for both massive and massless dark photons) as well as the wave equations. We discuss the implications of this extended electrodynamics including the enhanced effects in the particle conversions under the external magnetic or dark magnetic field. We also discuss the recently reported anomaly in the redshifted 21 cm spectrum using the extended electrodynamics.</P>

Sphingosine 1-phosphate (S1P) is a bioactive lipid, stored and released from activated platelets, macrophages, and other mammalian cells. We previously reported that S1P induces esophageal smooth muscle contraction in freshly isolated intact cells. Here, we measured S1P-induced ERK1/2 activation and upstream signaling in cultured feline esophageal smooth muscle cells. Activation of ERK1/2 by S1P peaked at 5 min, was sustained up to 30 min, and was blocked by PTX. In contrast, S1P did not activate p38 MAPK or JNK. PTX inhibited S1P-induced ERK1/2 activation. We then used phospholipase inhibitors, DEDA for $PLA_2$, U73122 for PLC, and pCMB for PLD, to determine that ERK1/2 activation was downstream of PLC activation. The PKC inhibitors, GF109203X and chelerythrine, also suppressed ERK1/2 activation. Whereas the PTK inhibitor, genistein, partially inhibited ERK1/2 activation, the EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitor, tyrphostin 51, had no effect. Taken together, S1P-induced ERK1/2 activation in cultured ESMCs requires a PTX-sensitive G protein, stimulation of the PLC pathway, and sub-sequent activation of the PKC and PTK pathways.
Linearization of T-S Fuzzy Systems and Robust Optimal Control

This paper proposes a novel linearization method for Takagi.sugeno (TS) fuzzy model. A T-S fuzzy controller consists of linear controllers based on local linear models and the local linear controllers cannot be designed independently because of overall stability conditions which are usually conservative. To use linear control theories easily for T-S fuzzy system, the linearization of T-S fuzzy model is required. However, The linearization of T-S fuzzy model is difficult to be achieved by using existing linearization methods because fuzzy rules and membership functions are included in T-S fuzzy models. So, a new linearization method is proposed for the T-S fuzzy system based on the idea of T-S fuzzy state transformation. For the T-S fuzzy system linearized with uncertainties, a robust optimal controller with the robustness of sliding model control(SMC) is designed.

Ti-ZSM-5 prepared by secondary synthesis, from the reaction of H-ZSM-5 with vapor phase $TiCl_4$, was characterized with several physicochemical techniques including FT-IR and UV/VIS-DRS. It was found that zeolite structure, surface area and pore volume did not change, and the framework aluminum could not be replaced by titanium atom during the secondary synthesis of Ti-ZSM-5. The incorporation of titanium into the framework might be due to reaction of $TiCl_4$with the silanol groups associated with defects or surface sites. The formation of extra-framework titanium could not be avoided, unless the samples were further treated by water vapor at 550 $^{\circ}C$ or higher temperature. High temperature steam treatment of Ti-ZSM-5 prepared by chemical vapor deposition with $TiCl_4$was efficient to prevent the formation of non-framework titanium species. Ti-ZSM-5 zeolites prepared in this work contained only framework titanium species and exhibited improved catalytic property close to TS-1 prepared by hydrothermal synthesis.

<P>Recently, there has been emerging concern that crescents, the main histologic feature of Henoch-Sch?nlein purpura nephritis, merely reflect active inflammation, and may not be useful in predicting long-term outcomes. We therefore conducted a single-center retrospective study to evaluate whether the new Oxford classification of immunoglobulin A nephropathy can be used to predict long-term outcome in patients with Henoch-Sch?nlein purpura nephritis. We included 61 biopsy-proven patients with Henoch-Sch?nlein purpura nephritis between January 1991 and August 2010. In addition to the International Study of Kidney Disease in Children classification, pathologic findings were also evaluated by the Oxford classification. Primary outcomes were defined as either the onset of estimated glomerular filtration rate <60?ml/min per 1.73?m(2) with 30% decrease in estimated glomerular filtration rate from baseline or end-stage renal disease. During a median follow-up of 49.3 months, 13 (21%) patients reached the primary end point. A Kaplan-Meier plot showed that renal event-free survival was significantly longer in patients with <50% crescents than in those with crescents in 50% of glomeruli (P=0.003). Among the components of the Oxford classification, patients with endocapillary hypercellularity (E1; P=0.016) and tubular atrophy/interstitial fibrosis (T1/T2; P=0.018) had lower renal survival rates than those with E0 and T0. In a multivariate Cox model adjusted for clinical and pathologic factors, E1 (hazard ratio=8.91; 95% confidence interval=1.47-53.88; P=0.017) and T1/T2 (hazard ratio=8.74; 95% confidence interval=1.40-54.38; P=0.020) were independently associated with reaching a primary outcome, whereas the extent of crescentic lesions was not. Our findings suggest that the Oxford classification can be used in predicting long-term outcomes of Henoch-Sch?nlein purpura nephritis.</P>

Obstruction of the bile duct owing to the direct extension of a tumor is occasionally found in patients with a hepatic neoplasm, but bile duct tumor thrombus caused by the intrabiliary transplantation of a free-floating tumor is a rare complication of hepatocellular carcinoma. A 50-year-old woman was diagnosed with HCC with bile duct tumor thrombi. She received transarterial chemoembolization (TACE) because her liver function was not suitable for surgery at the time of diagnosis. After TACE, infected biloma occurred recurrently. Thus, resection of the HCC, including the bile duct tumor thrombi, was performed. Six months after the surgery, recurred HCC in the distal common bile duct as drop metastasis was noted. The patient was treated with tomotherapy and has been alive for three years as of this writing, without recurrence. The prognosis of HCC with bile duct tumor thrombi is considered dismal, but if appropriate procedures are selected and are actively carried out, long-term survival can occasionally be achieved.
