Objective: The aim of this study is to improve ease of use the information of Adaptive Queue Line System (AQLS) prototype by using usability test. Background: Visual display is a part of Ergonomics to ensure users friendly of prototype so that the information is more efficiency to understand and reducing error probability. Many factors of user interface (UI) should be considered to evaluate easy to understand and operate the AQLS. The AQLS is a tool to manage the passenger queue line of MRT in increasing its queue discipline alongside its safety. Methods: An initial survey of 30 samples MRT passengers (17 women and 13 men) was conducted to find out what information in AQLS is needed when queuing on the MRT platform. The basic principles of user interfaces, visual display and controls, layout, typography, and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) used to construct AQLS screen. Usability test involved the parameters of learning ability, efficiency, error, and satisfaction were used to improve the quality of the prototype. The number of respondents for the test was 30 people with the composition of 12 men and 18 women. Results: The initial AQLS usability test prototype gave a learnability score with successive rate = 75%, time-based efficiency = 0.108, error rate = 0.233, and satisfaction with SUS (System Usability Scale) on average = 69,667 or categorized as close to good. After making changes, there is an increase in the quality of the prototype with a new SUS value of 82,333 (excellent). Conclusion: Usability tests can be employed to significantly improve the quality and ease of use of the MRT information board by taking into account the weaknesses that must be improved. Application: The AQLS prototype with a SUS value of 82,333 can confidently be implemented at MRT stations to improve crowd management capabilities.

User interface in usability plays an important role in public infrastructure facilities such as MRT stations to increase passenger convenience. The purpose of this paper is to evaluate and produce a recommendation of a notification board design based on a usability study. The first step was a literature study on usability theory, user interface, ergonomics for visual displays, and MRT -TOD. Secondly, was conducting an initial survey of perceptions and user experience in using MRT station facilities. In this study, there were 33 respondents assessing the usability. The results of usability testing measurement and the SUS questionnaire obtained the lowest score on the map of the Jakarta main public transportation network with a value of 40.23 (satisfaction category), and the highest at 76.591 on the station platform with the satisfaction category. The improvements in information system design have succeeded in increasing the usability value, for example the map of the Jakarta main public transport network - HI station to SUS 86,061% (satisfaction category). All in all, the improvement of information system design which concerns about ergonomic factors - visual displays could increase the usability of a product.

The human needs on mobilization keep increasing, hence various transportation service providers insist to provide mass transportation that is effective, ergonomic and accessible. The purpose of this paper is to produce recommendations for improving the design of the existing toilet by observing the accessibility and ergonomics needs of passengers with disabilities. The first step was studying theoretical studies regarding of product design development, house of quality (HOQ), visual displays, anthropometry, and the needs of disabilities. Firstly, this study was conducting an open and closed survey of 30 respondents consisting of users with physical and visual disabilities to see the passengers" toilet needs. There are 7 levels of importance as input to the HOQ process. The HOQ result states that the attribute importance level is 12.55% for the number of embossed signs, 12.55% for brightly colored signs, 10.45% for handrails, and 9.43% for toilet dimensions. An alternative design was successfully created without reducing the number of seats in the train carriages.

Core acquisition management is one of the most crucial activities in remanufacturing industries. The availability of cores is important to support company"s operational functions. This study aims to investigate the supporting factors of a successful core acquisition, focusing on return quantity / volume. Several key factors, considered as the root of the acquisition problem, have been identified through Interpretive Structural Model (ISM) method that involves the opinions of experts. From the initial identification, we obtained nine factors, in which two factors are in the dependent cluster, five factors are in the linkage cluster, and two factors are in the independent cluster. The results of the ISM-based model and MICMAC analysis showed that relationship type (factor 1) and convenience of logistics (factor 4) are the keys to successfully obtain an adequate amount of return quantity / volume. The results showed that the ISM method helps to simplify complex problems and suggest the remanufacturing companies to focus and pay more attention to these two factors, for the success of a core acquisition strategy.
