        Background : In recent years gonorrhoea has been panendemic and remains one of the most common Sexually Transmitted Diseases in the world, especially in developing countries. Objective & Method : For the detection of a more effective therapeutic regimen and assessing the prevalence of Penicillinase Producing Neisseria Gonorrhoeae(PPNG), Ive have been trying to study the patients who have visited the VD Clinic of Choong-Ku Public Health Center in Seoul since 1980 by means of the chromogenic cephalosporin method. Results : In 1994, 168 strains of N. gonorrhoeae were isolated, among which 109 (64,9% ) were PPNG. Conclustion : Our results suggests that the prevalence of PPNG in Seoul is still increasing.

        A plan for Automation of Land Records has been presented by the government. To creat or develop a national network, it is necessary first to improve and to expand the existing basic documentation. In the future, we need a Land Information System (LIS) defined as a systematic collection and presentation of all land related data of a region for legal, administrative, and economic purpose, for development and planning purpose. International trend in the development of Conventional Cadastral System is to establish the Multipurpose Cadastre which comprices land-related data; Cadastre, Land Registre, Building, Underground Utilities, Urban and Regional planning, Land Survey, Taxation, Land Consolidation, Statistics and Vegetation, etc. To follow this trend, therefore, the establishment of Automation System should consider its technical flexibilities and coorperations of other related authorities. In establishing LIS, it is important that the pilot project of small units must have legal authority. Land data should be accessed not only by the government but also by the private companies such as Surveying Coporations, Banks and Insurance Companies. The protection of individual rights and privacy, and of government security related materials must be guarented. The role of land surveyors in the LIS is creation and keeping up to date the basic data in land management. As a first step taward the establishment of LIS, we can make a unified system of Cadastre and the Land Register which involved the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Judicial Authorities for a long time, by connecting the Land Register to the Automation of Land Records, thereby forming the Common Register.

        A renovation of the Cadastre is of special interest to add building registration. The current system is managed to support the taxation of real property. It has some problems caused by unestablishment of the basic law and registration maps. In this paper, the writer analysed limited situations with a sample survey and discussed its improvements on the registration of strata titles and treatment of illegal houses. In addition, several technical adaptions of Cadastral photogrammetry compared with the ground surveys proposed.

      • 활동혈압에 의한 Cicletanine의 강압효과 판정

        Prostaglandin 합성을 촉진하는 새로운 강압약인 cicletanine의 강압효과를 진료실 혈압과 24시간 활동혈압으로 평가했을 때 상당한 차이를 보여 그 이유를 검토해 보았다. To evaluate antihypertensive effect of cicletanine with both clinic and ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, 10 male hypertensive patients were administered cicletanine, a new antihypertensive stimulating prostaglandin synthesis, in 100∼200 mg daily for 12 weeks. The following were the results. 1.Mean of clinic BP decreased from 161/98 mmHg to 153/98 mmHg. 2.Mean of ambulatory BP changed from 140/91 mmHg to 153/99 mmHg. 3.Side reactions were mild, namely indigestion and constipation. 4.Discrepancy between clinic and ambulatory BP were discussed. In conclusion cicletanine revealed slight antihypertensive effect with clinic blood pressure, but failed to confirm it with ambulatory blood pressure.

      • 대체연료로서의 메탄올 연소특성에 관한 연구

        It is very important to clarify the ignition and flame propagation processes of methanol fuel in the Spark-ignition engine. High speed Schlieren photography and pressure trace analyses were used to study on combustion characteristics of methanol fuel in a constant volume chamber. Methanol-air mixtures equivalence ratios from lean limit to 1.4 were ignited at initial pressure(0.065, 0.294, 0.49MPa), temperature(313, 343, 373K) and charging energy(19, 216mJ). As the result of this study, we verified the characteristics such as ignition delay, effective thermal efficiency. flame propagation velocity, jean limit, ignitability and combustion duration. Obatained results are as follows; 1. The time to reach 10% of maximum pressure was 40~50% of the total combustion duration for this experimental condition hardly affected by equivalence ratio. 2. The Effective thermal efficiency, as calculated from maximum pressure was the highest when the mixture was slightly lean(Φ 0.8~0.9) and maximum pressure was the highest when the the mixture was slightly rich (Φ 1.1~1.2).

      • 무흡광색소 생물의 감광수용체 개발에 관한 연구(Ⅰ) : 표고버섯 중의 광감응성 mitochondrial ATPase Light-Induced Mitochondrial ATPase in the L. edodes (Berk) Sing

        표고버섯의 미토콘드리아는 설탕 농도 44~50% 사이에서 분리 정제 되었다. 파장 변화에 따른 미토콘드리아성 ATPase의 비활성도는 680nm 파징에서 가장 증가하였다. 680nm에서 빛 조사 시간 변화에 따른 활성도는 5분 동안 조사 하였을 때 가장 증가 하였다. 최적 광조건(680nm 5분)에서 조사한 이 효소의 최적 pH 및 최적 온도는 7.5와 59℃였다. 최적 광조건에서 얻은 이 효소는 Fe³, Fe², Mg², K 및 Ca²이온에 의하여 활성화 되었고, Na이온에 의하여 억제 되었다. Mitochondria in the L. edades was purified by linear sucrose density gradient centrifugation. The mitochondrial ATPase activity was investigated by various wavelength illumination for 30 min at dark state. The mitochondrial ATPase activity was stimulated 1.6 fold by 680nm illumination compared with dark control group. The mitochondrial ATPase activity of different light illumination time at 680nm was stimulated 2.3 fold at 5minuted compared with dark control group. Its optimum pH and temperature were found to be 7.5 and 59℃ after illumination for 5 minutes at 680nm. The mitochondrial ATPaee activity was activated by 5 mmol Fe³, 0.1mmol Mg², 0.5mmol K, and 0.1mmol Ca²ion. But the enzyme was ingibited by 5mmol Na ion.

        우주방사선차폐 전자공학기술조사 연구

        오늘 날 인공위성을 이용하는 통신, 방송, 기상, 환경모니터링 및 원격탐사 등이 각광을 받고 있는 때에 위성에 설치되는 수많은 전자제품 및 부품들의 우주방사선에 대한 내구성이 매우 중요한 문제로 제기되고 있다. 이러한 관점에서 국내에서는 아직 확보할 수 없는 우주방사선차폐 전자공학기술에 관한 정보자료를 조사 수집하여 기술적으로 직접 활용해야할 필요성이 시급하게 대두되고 있다. 따라서 선진국에서 개발된 우주방사선차폐를 위한 첨단전자공학기술에 관한 기술정보·자료를 체계적으로 서술한다.

      • 생물막 유동층 반응기에서의 미생물 농도 예측

        This experiment was carried out to predict biomass concentration of attacted biofilm and to investigate fluidized-bed biofilm reactor (FBBR) performance of treating high organic loading rate. A number of experiments were conducted by increasing organic loading rate from 10kgCOD/㎥·day to 80kgCOD/㎥·day with superficial upflow velocity, 0.47cm/sec, operationg temperature, 22±1℃ and pH, 7±0.1. Glucose was used as a synthetic substrate. COD removal efficiencies were remarked as 73 to 96%, and the biomass concentration was increased up to 37,000mg/1. Under this experimental conditions, the FBBR was most efficiently operated at the F/M ratio of 1.7 and the biofilm thickness of 420㎛.
